Jin plays a huge roll in impacting the boys (all is included in the timeline storyline) During high school, he unwillingly told the principle about Suga and Jungkook's hideout. That caused Suga to be expelled then it lead to Suga disconnecting himself from Jungkook which lead to Jungkook falling apart. V also overheard a conversation with Jin and RM which made him believe Jin told on him too and RM knew about it all. V looked up to RM and this lead to both RM and V falling out. Jin ended up getting into a fist fight with V when they were all hanging out and after that night, they never got back together as a group. Jin erasing himself is just a theory but it would also make sense if he blamed himself for causing them to be unhappy. BTS is also coming back with a REPACKAGE at the END OF AUGUST! Since it's a repackage album it could be Wonder or Answer? I don't remember where Namjoon said there were four parts for Love Yourself and he said Tear was the third one and they weren't necessarily going to be released in order unless I misunderstood. Euphoria isn't a released song and it says is the theme for Love Yourself Wonder it means there's something missing right? Anyway I'm excited and with the new album we might get another piece of the puzzle.

I was sooo disappointed when I couldn’t read the notes, lyrics etc..... due to them being in Korean and I’m English! Does anyone know if there’s a place to find just the notes info in English? The only thing I can say I noticed on the notes booklet is and haven’t heard anyone else say anything about it ( at least that I know of) the back of them have B ( the open doors) U.....like possibly meaning “ Be Yourself”?
Army Blinks > same... that's all I'm assuming for the long time since the theory came up of Jin time travelling.. like maybe Bighit could continue the story even Jin start his military service. The remaining members can work after the other and still continues the story by using this storyline and it all makes sense.
I remember reading something I don’t remember where but it said just need to sacrifice himself in order to save everyone using the map of the soul. Maybe that’s why nobody’s fixing his problems. Eman Khan it’s because he keeps on changing the future so by him trying to help everyone and time travel to the future it’s actually making it worse and people are starting to disappear from his life bc he’s changing it.
I think he did not erase them... he erase himself from their memories... he still exists somewhere in an alternate timeline.. but this time no more Namjoon, Suga, Hope, Jimin, Tae and Jungkook. He will suffer alone knowing everything and everyone from the past.. He cannot change the past to fix the future.. faith still catches him.. poor Jin. He suffers the most coz of those memories.

MrsHelium - I totally agree that this video was great. After living for 40+ years, I had gathered a few regrets and hated myself for so long because of those regrets. After getting to know my path of self-destruction and all that I had realized that I needed to change something but didn't know what it was or how to change. Then as I'm trying to change the broken part of me, 2 years ago, BTS's music came into my life. Their lyrics, music and MV fit everything I was going through. And when they started their Love Yourself campaign, I finally knew what I needed to do. I needed to FACE MYSELF. I was so afraid for so long to face that part of me. And I recently (a few months ago) had a breakthrough. I am now in the process of FORGIVING MYSELF. That means that all of the relationships I have build with people using my false sense of self (my FAKE LOVE - so to speak) are in jeopardy. But I cannot reach my goal of LOVING MYSELF until I rebuild or end those relationships and hope those that are still around will accept me as my TRUE SELF. While being real is hard, it is necessary in order to forgive myself. I thank God daily that I clicked on my first BTS video 2 years ago. Also, I just have to say that I know a lot of people my age and older that think they can't learn anything from someone younger. I think that is a load of BS. I have learned more about myself in 2 years than I have in 40 from the wisdom that BTS and ARMY impart. I have seen 5 year olds give insightful answers that make my jaw drop. And I have seen people my age do the dumbest things. Age and wisdom do not have any correlation to each other. Just had to throw that out there. I purple you fam. Sorry for the long reply. I just thought I'd share.

I'm crying! This video broke my heart, since I entered this universe I always knew or imagined that everything revolved around time travel, I was never convinced by stories about the death of the boys or the death of Jin. This video ordered all my ideas and gave me much more !! same broke my heart, Jin not knowing the boys and being left alone with "memories" is something very painful for me !! 😭
And I think Jin is the one portraying as the man in La Citta di Smeraldo. Remember the scene in the highlight reel where he was getting ready to meet the girl and give her smeraldo flowers, but the girl died before he can even give it to her.

This theory is my fave so far. This one actually makes so much sense. Also, I love how you added the part where the room was spinning in Jin's perspective and the things inside the room connects perfectly to the boys. Damn. I actually got goosebumps..
This is a very well done video! I remember people saying they thought that Jin was replacing Tae and killing himself to save the others but I could never get on board with that idea. Your theory of his erasing himself from their memories makes more sense. I think the point from the beginning has been to in some way tell a story about the passing of time, the experience and loss of youth, regret and reality of life, growing up and learning who we are. Recognizing we can make mistakes and still love ourselves, but first come to terms with those mistakes honestly. Sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking that if we simply move forward, without truly facing our mistakes, that somehow they won't affect us, like they didn't really happen. But like RM said everything we do and experience becomes part of who we are. Denying the parts of ourself that we'd rather not look at only causes more pain in the long run. Jin's trying to go back and change the timeline is representative of that fact. It never really works. We will never be perfect. And that's ok.
I actually think you're spot on with this theory. Makes the most sense and it made me tear up. Jin is like a guardian angel. Theories were one of the factors that got me so much more invested in the fandom. Good job.

This here is a good theory no im not here today to criticize but to add on In fake love you can see Jin in a room and if you look closely you can see the Smeraldo flower trapped The Smeraldo represents the truth and it has a hidden meaning(The Truth Untold as xCeleste said) Jin tries to protect the flower as stuff flies inside of his room of fear Jin's fear is being in a situation where he can't do anything example of the time he laid in bed and his vision got wonky Jin couldn't do anything Not having to do with the flower right now in this section but will add up to what happens to the flower Each member are trapped inside a room , a room of their fears example as Jhope is trapped in a theme park room with snickers Snickers having to do with his mom abandoning him . Anyways each of them are trapped except Jungkook , why? I'm more inclined to the first time travel creating multiple parallels as an effect. Like in Henry Wells book, they've mentioned so many books, wouldn't be surprised if Henry Wells Time Machine drops by. Small side note, they already mentioned that J-Hope has Munchausen syndrome but there are two types (sorry for the med class) and the different types lead to different theories. He could either prettend to be sick or make others sick. When I read about Jimin passing out in the bus I thought it could have been J-Hope. Karla Rosas My personal theory at the moment is that young forever really marks the end of a story. Maybe there's a timeline where it all worked out and they had their own happy ending OR it should have ended there but it didn't like it was the epilogue of the first book. If we picture all the albuns as different books from the same series the prologue and epilogue stay the same, hope that made sense. I find it fascinating as well! I love literature and movies so my brain gets hyped watching the MVs or reading notes and trying to connect everything but I didn't spot half the details the OP pointed out 😂

Oh wow, I love this video. The way you explained everything in detail and gave evidence and formulated it was amazing.. I’m not an ARMY nor I listen to BTS a lot, but seeing this side that is filled with mystery and, my favorite concept, the past, makes me want to listen to it to figure out the truth. I love how BTS is not just a band with pretty boys who know how to sing. It’s something totally deeper that, unfortunately, not a lot of people notice. The next album is gonna be called "Moments of happiness" and it's probably gonna be a repackage album of all their old songs. What's gonna happen with the storyline is Jin will time travel once more, back before V killed his father, when Jimin was admitted to the hospital, when Yoongi tried to kill himself, when JHope started taking pills he didn't need, when Jungkook got hit by a car, when Namjoon was helping V vandalizing stuff. Back before Jin's love interest got hit by a car, before Jungkooks girl left, before V had to leave his girl, before Jimin hurt his girl, before JHope couldn't commit to his girl, before Namjoon couldn't tell her he liked her, before Yoongi lashed out at his girl and left. Back where it all started. HYYH. Where everything started. In all the videos that are apart of the BU storyline, there is some sort of relation back to HYYH. The new album will be a reflection of their youth. Jin has always been trying to figure out where he needs to turn back time in order to fix everything, he goes back before the car hit the girl, thinking that would fix everything. He fails. He goes back before Jungkook got hit by the car, he fails. He's always trying to find someway to fix everything. He goes back to random dates where everything went wrong, like back to when V killed his father, thinking it might fix it all. It never works. The video for Euphoria is one time that he went back and changed something that happened, he influenced Jungkook to go save Yoongi somehow while influencing JHope to leave Jimin to save Taehyung. He thought that worked, but it didn't. In the end something bad still happened, Jimin was all alone. This time, he's gonna go back to HYYH. In the Prologue video we see many things, like examples of V jumping off the platform. In prologue it's a little thing by a pool he jumps off of, like he's writing his own history. Like he is planning out his future. There are so many more examples of this in prologue. Like the ocean, and them running around on the beach. It's all examples of their future. Maybe Jin finally realizes that so he knows where to go back, where to fix it all. If he goes back before V jumps off the thing at an old abandoned pool, before Namjoon picks up vandalism, before all of that and tells them to do something else, maybe their future will be different, maybe everything will be okay and everyone will be happy. He believes that since he now loves himself, he can help the others. Maybe once he goes back he'll influence them to love themselves in hopes of rewriting their future. In The Highlight reel at the very end Jin says this "If we could turn back the clock where should we go back to? Once we reach that place, can all our mistakes and errors be undone? Will happiness be ours to stay?" while he is saying this, clips from all their videos in the BU storyline start playing. Scenes from the WINGS short films, some from I NEED U, some from Run, and many others. But the thing is, the scenes are reversed. As if Jins going back in time. The last scene is one from HYYH. It's almost as if Jin thinks that if he goes all the way back to HYYH and stops all the bad things from happening there that it will all be fixed and that in the future everyone will be happy. But, it won't work. The butterfly effect comes into play, and their future is all messed up still. Another clip from the Highlight reel Jin says this "Though many seasons pass there are places that cannot be reached, yet another storm to be faced and to be weathered head on, loving without fear, hesitating and parting, merely living as the person I am." Which is his thought after going back in time to HYYH and after he realises that no matter what, the boys will go their own way, and they will meet the girls in the highlight reel, they'll love them without fear, they'll hesitate and part ways with the girls, then they'll love themselves. Once they love themselves they'll find their way back to each other, they'll become friends again, and they'll go back and look about the good times they had together on Jin's camcorder and they'll look at his polaroids. They'll go back to look at their "Moments of Happiness." This will be the time that they finally reflect on their youth, and the time that they learn that loving themselves way the key to it all along with letting time do it's own thing. Jin will realise that he never needed to time travel, that he never needed to dwell on the past and he'll put his time traveling powers to rest and he'll live in the moment. He'll learn not to dwell on the past, to live in the present, and not to worry about the future.

My overall theory to love yourself. Just like they said magic shop is trading things of the past to things that gives you happiness. But it was only temporary. Taehyung was the first one to mask himself in singularity, just like Jin is the first to unmasked himself with epiphany. Because of this what if for Taehyung it will be harder for him to unmask himself because he masked himself first to run away from what traumatizes him. In 'The Truth Untold' they are lines that consist if talking more and more about that mask that they trapped themselves in. In the Truth Untold it's said that what if that person that left them at the end left them before? because it had a line that said something about 'before you leave me again' or something like that. What if that person came back to get answers from them but they masked themselves therefore making themselves forcibly not tell the person the answers they were seeking making that person leave in the end. At the end chorus it's said that they were left their with a broken mask while they cry. But what if the mask wasn't fully broken only a bit. In 'Fake Love' RM verses said "I wanna be a good one" and Jungkook said "Just for you" but then he said "I dunno me" and Jk said "Who are you?" they hid themselves for so long in that mask that they forgot their true selves and because of that they couldn't break free and be themselves and they masked themselves for so long that the mask became a daily thing to wear. There masks was something they wore when life got complicated, they turned to that mask whenever, so the masks became there new selves. The mask infact was never broken in 'The Truth Untold'. It was cracked but not broken and because of that it was easily worn back onto them. There masks became something that they used daily to hide the ugly past that still haunts them deep down but to be happy you have to overcome your past but they could not do this. So since Jin unmasked himself he's trying to help the others to unmask themselves and slowly bit by bit the masks breaks until it's finally broken but maybe in Taehyung's case it will be extra work since he was first to mask himself. Little things here that I’ve picked up on: 1. Jimin is always in a scene where he is always near water, but Suga is always in a scene where there is fire. Fire and water. Isn’t that a little weird? 2. The Album designs for LY: Answer, Tear and Her. I just find it kinda unique that they are all a string tying together to form an image. I think it’s just me who finds that interesting. I don’t really know if this can help. I’m a month old Army and I’m really interested in the BU and these are just small things I’ve noticed here and there.

Everything makes sense. I felt sad watching this theory. I think its near to be the Answer. And I'm afraid that after this era something big will happened to BTS . An action that can affect their future. An action that all of the ARMYs afraid to happened yet it can't be avoided since its their responsibility. 📌WHY WOULD JIN ERASE HIMSELF?
Jin plays a huge roll in impacting the boys (all is included in the timeline storyline) During high school, he unwillingly told the principle about Suga and Jungkook's hideout. That caused Suga to be expelled then it lead to Suga disconnecting himself from Jungkook which lead to Jungkook falling apart. V also overheard a conversation with Jin and RM which made him believe Jin told on him too and RM knew about it all. V looked up to RM and this lead to both RM and V falling out. Jin ended up getting into a fist fight with V when they were all hanging out and after that night, they never got back together as a group. Jin erasing himself is just a theory but it would also make sense if he blamed himself for causing them to be unhappy.
BTS is also coming back with a REPACKAGE at the END OF AUGUST! (Just like the Smeraldo Blog said) Bighit is denying it but just like last time, it was true 😂

Since it's a repackage album it could be Wonder or Answer? I don't remember where Namjoon said there were four parts for Love Yourself and he said Tear was the third one and they weren't necessarily going to be released in order unless I misunderstood.

MrsHelium - I totally agree that this video was great. After living for 40+ years, I had gathered a few regrets and hated myself for so long because of those regrets. After getting to know my path of self-destruction and all that I had realized that I needed to change something but didn't know what it was or how to change. Then as I'm trying to change the broken part of me, 2 years ago, BTS's music came into my life. Their lyrics, music and MV fit everything I was going through. And when they started their Love Yourself campaign, I finally knew what I needed to do. I needed to FACE MYSELF. I was so afraid for so long to face that part of me. And I recently (a few months ago) had a breakthrough. I am now in the process of FORGIVING MYSELF. That means that all of the relationships I have build with people using my false sense of self (my FAKE LOVE - so to speak) are in jeopardy. But I cannot reach my goal of LOVING MYSELF until I rebuild or end those relationships and hope those that are still around will accept me as my TRUE SELF. While being real is hard, it is necessary in order to forgive myself. I thank God daily that I clicked on my first BTS video 2 years ago. Also, I just have to say that I know a lot of people my age and older that think they can't learn anything from someone younger. I think that is a load of BS. I have learned more about myself in 2 years than I have in 40 from the wisdom that BTS and ARMY impart. I have seen 5 year olds give insightful answers that make my jaw drop. And I have seen people my age do the dumbest things. Age and wisdom do not have any correlation to each other. Just had to throw that out there. I purple you fam. Sorry for the long reply. I just thought I'd share.

This is a very well done video! I remember people saying they thought that Jin was replacing Tae and killing himself to save the others but I could never get on board with that idea. Your theory of his erasing himself from their memories makes more sense. I think the point from the beginning has been to in some way tell a story about the passing of time, the experience and loss of youth, regret and reality of life, growing up and learning who we are. Recognizing we can make mistakes and still love ourselves, but first come to terms with those mistakes honestly. Sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking that if we simply move forward, without truly facing our mistakes, that somehow they won't affect us, like they didn't really happen. But like RM said everything we do and experience becomes part of who we are. Denying the parts of ourself that we'd rather not look at only causes more pain in the long run. Jin's trying to go back and change the timeline is representative of that fact. It never really works. We will never be perfect. And that's ok.
I actually think you're spot on with this theory. Makes the most sense and it made me tear up. Jin is like a guardian angel. Theories were one of the factors that got me so much more invested in the fandom. Good job.

The Smeraldo represents the truth and it has a hidden meaning(The Truth Untold as xCeleste said) Jin tries to protect the flower as stuff flies inside of his room of fear Jin's fear is being in a situation where he can't do anything example of the time he laid in bed and his vision got wonky Jin couldn't do anything

I just love how many movies and books they can place in their MVs and maybe there's a few you/us missed.
I'm more inclined to the first time travel creating multiple parallels as an effect. Like in Henry Wells book, they've mentioned so many books, wouldn't be surprised if Henry Wells Time Machine drops by.
Small side note, they already mentioned that J-Hope has Munchausen syndrome but there are two types (sorry for the med class) and the different types lead to different theories. He could either prettend to be sick or make others sick. When I read about Jimin passing out in the bus I thought it could have been J-Hope. On the other side, seeing Jimin get attention could have trigger him to pretend to be sick as well. God, I'm legit smarter since I joined this fandom. At least I think I am.
Jin or the others disappearing of the photos is similar to what happened in the Butterfly Effect movie, adding fuel to your theory! In that same movie when the main character travelled time the room would shake or spin like it does for Jin!!! The main character tried to change the past so many times but one of his friends or his loved one always ended up hurt until he travelled all the way till the begining and made it so he had never met his friends or the girl (erasing himself from their lives) and they all grew up without problems...
The Smeraldo post got me shooked! Since it now talks about end of August and was posted at 4:28, some kdiamonds think the repackage is going to drop in the 24 of August!
Last, from a literature perspective we already have a prologue and a epilogue (supposedly post ending) so the order of the events is all mixed up in my head but since this was all already planned they must have called young forever an epilogue for some reason I'm still not getting (maybe in answer will see events leading to young forever!?)...

Karla Rosas My personal theory at the moment is that young forever really marks the end of a story. Maybe there's a timeline where it all worked out and they had their own happy ending OR it should have ended there but it didn't like it was the epilogue of the first book. If we picture all the albuns as different books from the same series the prologue and epilogue stay the same, hope that made sense.
I find it fascinating as well! I love literature and movies so my brain gets hyped watching the MVs or reading notes and trying to connect everything but I didn't spot half the details the OP pointed out 😂

The next album is gonna be called "Moments of happiness" and it's probably gonna be a repackage album of all their old songs. What's gonna happen with the storyline is Jin will time travel once more, back before V killed his father, when Jimin was admitted to the hospital, when Yoongi tried to kill himself, when JHope started taking pills he didn't need, when Jungkook got hit by a car, when Namjoon was helping V vandalizing stuff. Back before Jin's love interest got hit by a car, before Jungkooks girl left, before V had to leave his girl, before Jimin hurt his girl, before JHope couldn't commit to his girl, before Namjoon couldn't tell her he liked her, before Yoongi lashed out at his girl and left. Back where it all started. HYYH. Where everything started. In all the videos that are apart of the BU storyline, there is some sort of relation back to HYYH. The new album will be a reflection of their youth. Jin has always been trying to figure out where he needs to turn back time in order to fix everything, he goes back before the car hit the girl, thinking that would fix everything. He fails. He goes back before Jungkook got hit by the car, he fails. He's always trying to find someway to fix everything. He goes back to random dates where everything went wrong, like back to when V killed his father, thinking it might fix it all. It never works. The video for Euphoria is one time that he went back and changed something that happened, he influenced Jungkook to go save Yoongi somehow while influencing JHope to leave Jimin to save Taehyung. He thought that worked, but it didn't. In the end something bad still happened, Jimin was all alone. This time, he's gonna go back to HYYH. In the Prologue video we see many things, like examples of V jumping off the platform. In prologue it's a little thing by a pool he jumps off of, like he's writing his own history. Like he is planning out his future. There are so many more examples of this in prologue. Like the ocean, and them running around on the beach. It's all examples of their future. Maybe Jin finally realizes that so he knows where to go back, where to fix it all. If he goes back before V jumps off the thing at an old abandoned pool, before Namjoon picks up vandalism, before all of that and tells them to do something else, maybe their future will be different, maybe everything will be okay and everyone will be happy. He believes that since he now loves himself, he can help the others. Maybe once he goes back he'll influence them to love themselves in hopes of rewriting their future. In The Highlight reel at the very end Jin says this "If we could turn back the clock where should we go back to? Once we reach that place, can all our mistakes and errors be undone? Will happiness be ours to stay?" while he is saying this, clips from all their videos in the BU storyline start playing. Scenes from the WINGS short films, some from I NEED U, some from Run, and many others. But the thing is, the scenes are reversed. As if Jins going back in time. The last scene is one from HYYH. It's almost as if Jin thinks that if he goes all the way back to HYYH and stops all the bad things from happening there that it will all be fixed and that in the future everyone will be happy. But, it won't work. The butterfly effect comes into play, and their future is all messed up still. Another clip from the Highlight reel Jin says this "Though many seasons pass there are places that cannot be reached, yet another storm to be faced and to be weathered head on, loving without fear, hesitating and parting, merely living as the person I am." Which is his thought after going back in time to HYYH and after he realises that no matter what, the boys will go their own way, and they will meet the girls in the highlight reel, they'll love them without fear, they'll hesitate and part ways with the girls, then they'll love themselves. Once they love themselves they'll find their way back to each other, they'll become friends again, and they'll go back and look about the good times they had together on Jin's camcorder and they'll look at his polaroids. They'll go back to look at their "Moments of Happiness." This will be the time that they finally reflect on their youth, and the time that they learn that loving themselves way the key to it all along with letting time do it's own thing. Jin will realise that he never needed to time travel, that he never needed to dwell on the past and he'll put his time traveling powers to rest and he'll live in the moment. He'll learn not to dwell on the past, to live in the present, and not to worry about the future.

I love bts and bighit...i have no idea how they came up with this idea and how hard it must've been for them to put it together in MV's when so many army's are having a hard time just putting all the puzzle pieces in.BTS and their agency work so hard for us and I really do love and appreciate them with all my heart.

My overall theory to love yourself.
Just like they said magic shop is trading things of the past to things that gives you happiness. But it was only temporary. Taehyung was the first one to mask himself in singularity, just like Jin is the first to unmasked himself with epiphany. Because of this what if for Taehyung it will be harder for him to unmask himself because he masked himself first to run away from what traumatizes him.
In 'The Truth Untold' they are lines that consist if talking more and more about that mask that they trapped themselves in. In the Truth Untold it's said that what if that person that left them at the end left them before? because it had a line that said something about 'before you leave me again' or something like that. What if that person came back to get answers from them but they masked themselves therefore making themselves forcibly not tell the person the answers they were seeking making that person leave in the end. At the end chorus it's said that they were left their with a broken mask while they cry. But what if the mask wasn't fully broken only a bit. In 'Fake Love' RM verses said "I wanna be a good one" and Jungkook said "Just for you" but then he said "I dunno me" and Jk said "Who are you?" they hid themselves for so long in that mask that they forgot their true selves and because of that they couldn't break free and be themselves and they masked themselves for so long that the mask became a daily thing to wear. There masks was something they wore when life got complicated, they turned to that mask whenever, so the masks became there new selves.
The mask infact was never broken in 'The Truth Untold'. It was cracked but not broken and because of that it was easily worn back onto them. There masks became something that they used daily to hide the ugly past that still haunts them deep down but to be happy you have to overcome your past but they could not do this.
So since Jin unmasked himself he's trying to help the others to unmask themselves and slowly bit by bit the masks breaks until it's finally broken but maybe in Taehyung's case it will be extra work since he was first to mask himself.

Little things here that I’ve picked up on:
1. Jimin is always in a scene where he is always near water, but Suga is always in a scene where there is fire. Fire and water. Isn’t that a little weird?
2. The Album designs for LY: Answer, Tear and Her. I just find it kinda unique that they are all a string tying together to form an image. I think it’s just me who finds that interesting.
