At the end when Jin removes his sweater, that one hit me the hardest. Because you see him throw it on the chair, which already is taken up by many other sweaters and shirts. How many times has Jin really gone through, and how many times does he have to change not only his sweater, but the boys endings? And it always somehow ended in a tragedy. For Jin, his role hit me the hardest, as he has suffered countless of different realities. It's like he takes one step forward, and two steps back. Truly heartbreaking.
Throwing the sweater and going up the stairs, i wud believe, means that he didnt get ready to go.. With the boys.. And i am guessing it was the beach day.. He equated himself out of the group or say the boys lives for them to figure it out on their own no matter how much he wanted them to have the best.. He gave up.. Bcz no matter what he did they fell back to their 'destiny' And destiny can only be changed once they want it to.. They have to find the WAY to life and that i think is what the next album is going to about.. Changing and accepting and moving on
You know when jin looks through the washing machine in spring day and a large mountain of clothes appear and the boys are sitting on it? Could it also be the amount of times jin has moved through different timelines/universes???? Because him changing clothes represents him changing time lines? Idk... My theory
Now it all makes sense! I honestly think Jin's character is the saddest and strongest of all. I mean. Imagine yourself in his situation, trying to save your friends from all that tragedy, but not being able to, and having to repeat that over, and over and over... I personaly wouldn't be able yo do that... I would just end up depressed...
It's like reliving your most painful memory over and over and over again. Honestly, I can't imagine what it would feel like to be in his situation, and I don't want to.
Nooo taehyung story is very sad... because he is not save Home if your not save home then where? It al begins with your home what you learn if you feel happy and then you can live happy outsider world
Have any of you guys seen the movie 'The Butterfly Effect'? In that movie, the protagonist keeps rewriting the past to try to make everyone happy, and in the end he realised that they can't be happy if he was ever part of their life. So he writes himself out of the equation to make them happy. Like Jin filming the moments, he realises it's not right. He has to sacrifice himself to see the others as truly happy
But wait I thought going back to prevent a tragedy from happening but it still happens no matter how many times you try to stop it, was called a Paradox effect.
Genesis Shuler But, it seems the Butterfly Effect can be solved, but it requires the sacrifice of someone and in this case it’s Jin. If there was no solution then it probably would be a Paradox Effect, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Karoline Luvi Ah, I think I'm getting what you're saying. Lets just hope that Jin succeeds. From what I saw when BTS released their comeback Fair Love trailer it looks like it's Jungkook's turn to go back to save his hyungs
namjin is king Shouldn’t be a Kdrama as they’re dramas, and they just don’t have a big “Record” I guess to put it? A better idea is a whole Korean show series; That’d be interesting.
Even if I know that these episodes are just fictional and are there to illustrate their concepts and the meaning of their song, a little part of my mind is still sad because we all know that in every fiction, there is a part of authenticity.
The thing is.. Our boys have gone through things sad things heartbreaking things. But we should be proud of them yourself and not sad. They are happier and we got them there
Jin’s character makes me so sad. How many times has he relived the same days? I think he thought at some point he would just leave the boys to live their life because they all seemed happy and had met women to bring light into their life but even that didn’t work out. And it seems like every time he thinks he has one member in his car he loses another. I wonder what the formula will be to save them all. RM will be the first and slowly the rest will hopefully gather for another ‘road trip’.
this reminds me of an old movie called butterfly effect. the story is a little bit the same, where main character tried to save his love ones by trying to alter some events in the past and when he succeed, another events appear in his future (or present, i forgot) where his another love ones are hurt/dead. he tried to go back to the past to changed that too. it repeats a few times too, but still he couldn't save all of them, he had to sacrifice one to save another. in the end, (i think) he ends up dead trying to save all of them. and this video reminds me the butterfly effect theory. where Jin's trying to alter the past and save his friends.
Im a 35 years old man, and i have never seen anything this sad and beatifull concept in my whole life this is why i love BTS, nobody inject their music with this kind of storyline. Everythin is i got a lot of cash women ad cars in music right now but this is wonderfull. A story about beautiful friendship and the struggles and feelings of each charater. Bless you bts the sky is your limits
Yas! I didn't even realize what the Webtoon was supposed to be, and since I didn't know the band in the first place, I didn't really understand. But I'm into BTS way more now.
@@borahe822 well actually it's a kind of manga but on web sites that's called webtoon bts published a webtoon that clear all of our theories about run save me and I need u bts members are the characters of that webtoon
@@inesnini3693 thank you for replying, I read it and now I understood the meaning behind all those music video; I thought it was only for particular song but mannn I was so shocked when I read webtoon and also theories !! Never knew bts had this amazing album with such an heart touching story! I'll spread it as much as I can to let normal people know about bts ;)
Is anybody else having a hard time differentiating real life BTS and story BTS because right now I’m having an existential crisis remembering that all these stories are fantasy and the real BTS are just normal people😂😂 I find myself having to be like “wait this is not real, BTS is actually just an amazing group not one that is present in multiple universes with terrible tragedies” ughhh help me
Meghana Jalagam Me too. When I saw this I needed to remember that V iz alive, he didn't jump, there was no car acident and he is alive too, Everything here is just fiction so, i need to calm down a little😂
I feel like in the latest update, Euphoria, almost everything was answered. Like what you said, Jin keeps traveling in time which destroys the timeline and the plots. He keeps trying to make things right for his friends but it always ends up in a destructive situation one way or another. But in Euphoria, he goes back to the very beginning-Taehyung jumping from the tower. Hence, why in Jin’s poster it says, “If i could go back, I would go the last summer’s sea.” And in Euphoria, he finally achieved that. He went back to that sea. And when he went back, instead of Taehyung going up to the tower. Jin went up. That’s why Taehyung looked confused in the Euphoria Video when Jin was up the tower. Because it gave him de javu. When Jin went back to that sea, almost everything changed. Hoseok took the role of Taehyung’s dad so Taehyung won’t end up being arrested. Jungkook and Yoongi was okay. Namjoon and Taehyung was okay. Everything seemed ALMOST alright. But something in me says that, Euphoria is just an imagination and It’s an alternate universe and it was just a little peek of what it could’ve been if everything was okay. But i don’t know for sure. The acts in Euphoria could’ve been real. It could be that Jin finally did it right. I don’t know anymore. Bighit and BTS = Mindfuck 💀
I think what really sells me on Jin, is that when he catches the flowers and takes the shirt off and looks into the camera he just looks SO WEARY. Like he's done this 100 times before and nothing changes.
all this time jin or another was trying to help. This shows you need to love yourself before loving anyone else because in the end only you can help yourself.
THIS GOT ME SHOCKED... I did not really know bts since one month ago and i would not call myself an army but i quiet like to watch their videos and some of their music. But if this story was thought through from the beginning on i am massively impressed!!
You don't even have a clue. haha. The new material just from Persona and Boy With Love pull back from things so far back it makes me shiver. It is chilling how they have worked this universe and I can't imagine what more is already written.
I think the main message in this whole time travel thing, where Jin tries to fix everything, is that no matter what you do you can’t stop the inevitable from happening. You can delay it, but I think the story is saying that fate always wins out. It’s almost a message of reality, bittersweet. You only have one chance in life to make the right choices and you only have one fate. So I think the story basically is saying to love yourself, and everything else will fall into place. Because if you don’t love yourself, your world becomes darker. I think anyone with depression can relate to me when I say that when you don’t love yourself, you find yourself desperate for distractions. In this case, the boys being together seems to be that distraction. It’s nice and heartwarming to have people that love you around you, but when you’re alone, the depression and self-hatred comes back. Loving others doesn’t compensate for loving yourself. So, in my mind, Jin is trying to do what can’t be done until the boys (including Jin) love themselves and accept their past. They all seem to have issues with their past, so I think when they confront that storm, everything will be okay again. Loving yourself is confronting yourself, after all.
I completely understand. Me having to deal with depression myself helps me kind of understand where they are coming from. Jin is (maybe) going back in time to try and teach them to love themselves, but fails, no matter how many cycles (hence the washing machine moment.) he was in. Him in spring day, was one of those cycles. I kinda searched for symbolism though out spring day. Although at first look the lyrics look like its about missing someone. But if you read into it (maybe a little to far) its about winter representing the times of pain and regret, the times of them hating their destructive behavior, and spring representing them longing for the new start with out all the pain and regret, them loving themselves. Jin failing to fix everything through many cycles, one thing fixed another thing broken, (like you said) is telling you to love yourself the first time because in reality, their is no going back.
BTS are honestly the best artists I’ve ever known. This makes me respect and admire them infinitely more. They tackle on such topics that need to be discussed, but too many are afraid to do that. They don’t create songs that are just for making a girl/boy feel special, but rather to tell the world the kind of universe we’re living in. Not to mention the fact that they’re voices are so beautiful and they portray their character so well. #longlivebts
I doubt BTS themselves are behind the storyline. Most idols don't write their own music or produce their own music videos. They just sing and dance whatever they're told to. I could be wrong tho.
HOLY SHIT THEY ARE FINALLY REVEALING THE BTS STORYLINE WITH A FULL ONLINE COMIC SERIES: SAVE ME (so do I get a cookie for getting most of it right? ;) ): www.webtoons.com/en/drama/bts-save-me/prologue/viewer?title_no=1514&episode_no=1
I cried at literally every part but it was like stop and go because every time you thought it would get better for them but it just got worse and worse ahhh help me
Here's my theoryyyyy The next album is gonna be called "Moments of happiness" and it's probably gonna be a repackage album of all their old songs. What's gonna happen with the storyline is Jin will time travel once more, back before V killed his father, when Jimin was admitted to the hospital, when Yoongi tried to kill himself, when JHope started taking pills he didn't need, when Jungkook got hit by a car, when Namjoon was helping V vandalizing stuff. Back before Jin's love interest got hit by a car, before Jungkooks girl left, before V had to leave his girl, before Jimin hurt his girl, before JHope couldn't commit to his girl, before Namjoon couldn't tell her he liked her, before Yoongi lashed out at his girl and left. Back where it all started. HYYH. Where everything started. In all the videos that are apart of the BU storyline, there is some sort of relation back to HYYH. The new album will be a reflection of their youth. Jin has always been trying to figure out where he needs to turn back time in order to fix everything, he goes back before the car hit the girl, thinking that would fix everything. He fails. He goes back before Jungkook got hit by the car, he fails. He's always trying to find someway to fix everything. He goes back to random dates where everything went wrong, like back to when V killed his father, thinking it might fix it all. It never works. The video for Euphoria is one time that he went back and changed something that happened, he influenced Jungkook to go save Yoongi somehow while influencing JHope to leave Jimin to save Taehyung. He thought that worked, but it didn't. In the end something bad still happened, Jimin was all alone. All these time travels have caused a butterfly effect, which is why there are minor changes and connections between videos like the WINGS short films and the older HYYH videos. Both the WINGS videos and the HYYH videos look very very similar but there are minor changes to them, even with Prologue, the ending scene in Prologue changed because Jin turned back time to try and fix it all. This time, Jin's gonna go back to HYYH. In the Prologue video we see many things, like examples of V jumping off the platform. In prologue it's a little thing by a pool he jumps off of, like he's writing his own history. Like he is planning out his future. There are so many more examples of this in prologue. Like the ocean, and them running around on the beach. It's all examples of their future. Maybe Jin finally realizes that so he knows where to go back, where to fix it all. If he goes back before V jumps off the thing at an old abandoned pool, before Namjoon picks up vandalism, before all of that and tells them to do something else, maybe their future will be different, maybe everything will be okay and everyone will be happy. He believes that since he now loves himself, he can help the others. Maybe once he goes back he'll influence them to love themselves in hopes of rewriting their future. In The Highlight reel at the very end Jin says this "If we could turn back the clock where should we go back to? Once we reach that place, can all our mistakes and errors be undone? Will happiness be ours to stay?" while he is saying this, clips from all their videos in the BU storyline start playing. Scenes from the WINGS short films, some from I NEED U, some from Run, and many others. But the thing is, the scenes are reversed. As if Jins going back in time. The last scene is one from HYYH. It's almost as if Jin thinks that if he goes all the way back to HYYH and stops all the bad things from happening there that it will all be fixed and that in the future everyone will be happy. But, it won't work. The butterfly effect comes into play, and minor details get changed once again, but fate still finds it's way to the boys. Another clip from the Highlight reel Jin says this "Though many seasons pass there are places that cannot be reached, yet another storm to be faced and to be weathered head on, loving without fear, hesitating and parting, merely living as the person I am." Which is his thought after going back in time to HYYH and after he realises that no matter what, the boys will go their own way, and they will meet the girls in the highlight reel, they'll love them without fear, they'll hesitate and part ways with the girls, then they'll love themselves. Once they love themselves they'll find their way back to each other, they'll become friends again, and they'll go back and look about the good times they had together on Jin's camcorder and they'll look at his polaroids. They'll go back to look at their "Moments of Happiness." This will be the time that they finally reflect on their youth, and the time that they learn that loving themselves way the key to it all along with letting time do it's own thing. Jin will realise that he never needed to time travel, that he never needed to dwell on the past and he'll put his time traveling powers to rest and he'll live in the moment. He'll learn not to dwell on the past, to live in the present, and not to worry about the future. Its probably wrong but K so like I reread this and sis was I on drugs or something? 😂 if this were their next album it would pretty much conclude their storyline which I don’t think will happen anytime soon so maybe this album I was talking about could be like a conclusion album to their whole storyline..? It could also be an upcoming album considering BTS might have to go to military enlistment (not sure tho)
Okay, I think Im starting to get the thing! Jin's character is very complex tought! He is the one who tryes to take back time and start the things over and over, but he always fails. Everytime he does something and managges to prevent a bad happening, a new one always occours. And the key for solving it, so the boys, all of them can live happily, is that they have to learn to love themselves. If they dont, then everything starts over and over, if they do, things will change and everything will be fine.
I dont think they are going to explain until we crack it. They probably enjoy reading the fan theories. I love being able to go through and come up with theories. I was thinking about writing all of these into an actual written story to test them. I have a feeling we are close though
Alex Wolvette So I’m this case JIMIN was the only one without a girl in the highlight reel and did not love himself enough which caused that alternate universe to fail
i appreciated their music and their individuality before, but now i appreciate it a hundred times more. i’ve been a fan of kpop for years and i don’t think i’ve seen any other band (correct me if i’m wrong) put this much thought into the meaning of their lyrics and videos. bts truly are something unique to the scene. they push the envelope on (usually taboo) topics such as mental health, abuse, suicide, etc. that many other groups are afraid to talk about. especially when you combine things like yoongi’s agust d stuff (talking about the music industry and his own mental health issues) as well as all of these videos. i respect and admire the fuck out of all seven of them for being able to talk about these things and create stories throughout their videos with a sense of coherency and intellect. they really are, in my opinion, something incredibly rare and special to the kpop scene. i love them so much more.
I sat on this for a while because although I don't have an actual proper theory of my own, I did see a lot of connections between all of the MVs. It's even possibly got roots going back to Dark&Wild era although HYYH is where it really begins, so I won't involve D&W. --- We already know all seven of them were lost and broken in their own ways but came together, possibly while in school, and built a strong friendship with each other(echoing BTS in real life). After that, due to just normal life circumstances, they all fell apart - they lost the strength that they'd built together and were unable to keep it(the notes, House of Cards, Butterfly, I Need U, Run). That day at the sea was really the last happy day they had together. Although they struggled to rise up out of what they were at the moment, desperate to become something new, life didn't work for them because they didn't have each other's support and by the time they needed it, they'd lost a key member - Jin. The girls in the Hightlight Reels seem to be a reference to a normal life, or a return to normalcy. Away from the heartache and pain they are experiencing and a chance to make things better. Even the colour saturation is different, softer and more hopeful. Yet, sadness still exists, because sadness is still a part of human life. They made sacrifices, and different decisions, but they are still missing a key part - each other. Because of that, the equation still doesn't work out and they lose their chance at happiness again. Out of them all, because Jin was the catalyst for the argument that broke up the group, his guilt is possibly the strongest and a lot of the hints are given from his point of view. He's the one with the wormholes and the one who's isolated away, recording the memories of his friends, not really shown interacting with them. Jin is also trapped, either in his memories or in a situation he doesn't want to be in. He's really aware of what's happening; he knows it's not going to last. Here, the Japanese MV for Blood, Sweat, Tear seems to offer us another perspective of what's happening. There's a story between Taehyung, Jungkook, Namjoon and Jin. It's possible that what the argument between Jin and the rest of the group was sparked by an event that involves Jungkook and Namjoon. Jungkook and Namjoon are both shown taking absinthe, one in a glass and one as a drop on his finger. In the Japanese version, Namjoon feeds it directly to Jungkook in a glass. Either way, it's a poison and hallucinogenic Jungkook was given. Namjoon's hands are coated and stained black; he's guilty of something and acknowledges it. Taehyung has the strongest destructive impulses out of all of them, and is often referenced as a fallen angel, made most obvious in Wings. When Jin is building the house of cards in Run, Taehyung is the one who destroys it. In the kitchen, it's Taehyung that Jin is fighting with. Jin is possibly struck with a glass bottle, in a throwback to the I Need U MV when Taehyung attacks his father, killing him. Jin's eyes are covered by Taehyung in the Blood Sweat Tears MV(although we know this is a happy coincidence, because Yoongi couldn't do it, ha.) This takes Jin to the room with the angel, that when kissed, begins to break the space around Jin, showing him ever more clearly that what surrounds Jin isn't the truth and that it's all coming apart. Wings is a detour into the psyche of all of them, rich and luxurious yet unfailingly wrong. It's like all their desires put together into a fantasy land, a dreamlike place packed with symbolism. That place doesn't exist in reality, and Jin shows this the most strongly. He's the one who is most aware of his surroundings, where everyone else wanders off to explore, Jin is the one to look around as though something is wrong. At some point, Jimin came closest to the truth, either about all of them, the argument, or just about Jin himself. Jimin saw and sensed something(both versions of Jimin almost acknowledge each other, heads turning to each other in BST Japanese MV) that almost led him to the answer(the room where he saw himself and Yoongi), but was blocked partway. Right after he opens the door to the blue room, Jimin is yanked away, and that timeline or moment shatters. In Blood Sweat Tears, Jimin is blindfolded, and later shown with green tear tracks painted under his eye(a reference to the absinthe that Namjoon and Jungkook took?) In Lie, he seems to accept some sort of responsibility and bites into the apple, symbolic of forbidden knowledge. Jimin witnessed or knew something and suffers for it. Last but not least, I'm not sure if Debussy's Clair de Lune(Moonlight), is meant to have a special significance. You hear this in Butterfly, during Taehyung's attempt to contact Namjoon on the phone. It's a very pretty piece, and nostalgic, too. Clair de Lune is also the title of a poem, which, when translated, has the lines of 'Your soul is a delicate landscape, where roam charming masks and bergamasques... sad under their whimsical disguises, while singing in a minor key of victorious love and easy life. They don't seem to believe in their happiness...' Very telling! But at this point I'm not sure if I'm reaching, haha. If nothing else, it reinforces the story of tragedy. In short, the story is of seven friends coming together that then fell apart because their friendship wasn't strong enough to overcome their circumstances and their need for each other was perhaps a bit too great. They all shared fleeting moments of happiness that were destroyed by themselves. Taehyung's violent streak in times of uncertainty either killed or severely injured Jin, who's shown pretty consistently with lilies and a mark over the left side of his chest(empty hole in BST Japanese MV, lily in I Need U). Jin is now trying to make things right; either via time travel or just in his memories, struggling to go back and bring happiness to all of them. Here, I really lean to the time travel theory. May or may not be connected to the Smeraldo flowers! In this case, Jimin is the one who disrupts that process, either purely by accident, or because of the time he'd tried to drown himself in the tub. Jimin's presence there shatters the timeline that Jin is trying to fix, and his realisation damages him. This gives another explanation for Jimin's anguish while he's in the tub in I Need U, and why he looks so shaken when he's out of it, having found this forbidden knowledge. Does Spring Day play a part in all of this? Yes, and no. If we're connecting Spring Day into HYYH, it seems to be an outside look at their wishes and desires; it's BTS commenting on their story arc that was built from HYYH into Wings/LY:Her. It's the softer moments that they had or wish they had, the regrets and the love they could have shared. While they all break the fourth wall, gazes locking with the viewer, it's Jin and Jimin who do it the most, followed by Jungkook, Taehyung and Namjoon, all of whom were linked together in BST Japanese MV. So Spring Day, perhaps, is Jungkook's point of view of the events in HYYH, and his wishes. So there you go! Is one commentary among many, but holy shit, I cannot put into words how much I appreciate the work BigHit and BTS put into this. A story arc that spans over nearly the entirety of their discography? I loved the emotion in their work, the visual storytelling, but the deeper I looked, the more I found, and it is just... mindblowing, the work that must have been needed to put it all together.
This makes the most sense for me. Especially the concept that Wings is a detour into the psyche, and that Jin is most comfortable in that realm while the others are lost and exploring. It seems to me that Jin died somehow (perhaps suicide) (evidence is his separation from the group, all the mirrors and him looking through the camera only separates him more). This broke the group but it also broke Tae. Jungkook and Yoongi fight, Tae feels isolated from the group, and too far away to be helped (Namjoon cant reach the phone in the booth). I think Tae considers suicide in Spring Day (putting his head on the tracks). This is where the supernatural aspect comes in. Jin returns somehow, either through worm holes or making a deal w the devil to save an angel (Tae). Jin is trying to fix everyone's problems, feeling responsible for his death being the catalyst for the groups break up and subsequent destructive behaviour. Jimin seems most aware of something being up (Jap BST video). Jungkook is in mourning for his the loss of his friends, and the painting in Begin resembles Tae the most, thats why I think he is closest to the edge/destruction (Begin). I havent seen enough to figure out how/where Hoseok and Namjoon fit into this
I know that i look way too far into it, to the point where i have five different story lines all from one theory. But nothing is too far until they explain. I take into consideration that almost EVERYTHING is symbolism. For example: Spring day. It can represent winter, being where they don't want to be, and spring being a new start. Hence the lyrics: "because no darkness or season can last forever." meaning winter (the darkness: pain/regret etc) can't last forever. Them hoping that they can come to terms with the regret, and start a new story. Winter to Spring.
Casey Bivens i think the reason Jin returned is because of Abraxas (the god frequently referred to). I wont get too in to detail, but basically, Abraxas is the god of life and death all at once. Good and evil. Destruction and creation. Chaos and order. (You get it) Well, there is a quote from the Seven Sermons to the Dead, “He specializes in magic and lore associated with pain and devastation. Abraxas can assist those seeking forbidden knowledge at any price, even the death of all those they loved.” Which connects to "Magic Shop." Also, in some old religions, demons were believed to be dead people brought back by Satan on the condition that they obey him. Well, remember in Blood Sweat and Tears, when Jin kissed the demon statue? There is something called, "The Kiss of Death" where the person retrieving a kiss from a demonic god is marked for death. I think Jin wanted to die in order to be brought back with "powers" i guess, in order to be able to jump across the realms that namjoon was talking about in all the wings short films. So he kissed the statue in means of kissing Abraxas (or whatever demon that statue was based off of) K i'm gonna stop myself because if i dont, you'll be reading for a LONG time haha. Soooooooo ya that's what thousands of hours of research got me.
what i am thinking is both big-hit and these theory makers are always mysterious and might time traveled cause big-hit hides so many details in there videos about future mv's ever since bts debut and every time i figure them out it gets more creepy and scary for me to handle and seeing how most theory's are true makes me freak out more
Some people might find all these theories crazy. But I love all of it. :) BTS and BigHit are taking art into another level. I really like what they're doing. I actually hope they'll never tell us the real theory behind their concept. So that future generation can look back at this and be amaze at what they have done. I can't really describe it but suffice it to say "It's freaking beautiful." It reminds me of the mystery Leonardo Da Vinci left behind- the Monalisa. We're forever trying to figure out the mystery of her smile. One thing for sure, why I love what they're doing. They're getting people involve with their art. People are talking to one another trying to figure out the symbolism and what not. And these are people from all walks of life. I feel like a child again where it's easy to make friends. You just go into the playground and play with the kids. It's so different as an adult-you have to check and be careful in case they think you're crazy or you might be talking to someone that might hurt you. I like these interaction. Gosh, I don't know how BTS did it. But they created a new culture with their fandom. Now that's one thing I want to figure out- how did that happen. I want a sociologist to study the fandom. I want to know how they train the ARMY so well without really hands on training them. Because this fandom, yes, there might be some crazy people in it but majority are good people and the majority is able to contain those who tend to go over the line. It's like a perfect community. Hmmm... I'm digressing. Anyways, thank you for making an effort to make this video. :)
syrenz14 ALL. OF. THIS. 👍🏻 I personally love how BTS tells relevant stories. Like about mental illness and things that really mess up people. I feel like they’re saying that they understand and that there’s hope. But also that sci-fi twist!! Love it!
man im a new fan too.. it was hard for me understand why ARMY keeps crying, when I watching their vids but until I got a glimpse that there was this story now I'm crying the heck too TTuTT Thank you for this!
Do bear in mind though that some of what was said is fan theory though. Bighit unfortunately has non confirmed EVERYTHING. At least not yet. One can hope right? Lol
Jin kinda reminds of the the girl in the Japanese movie 'the girl who leaped through time' (if you have time I suggest you watch it, it is a nice movie)... BTS and bighit is trying to say that no matter how we tried to turn back time and change everything, history will only gonna repeat itself since the root of all the storm (suicide, depression, anger, loneliness, bullying, etc) is still evident. You see the youth these days are suffering from all of these. Jin tried changing the course of time but in the end got greater consequences out of it, then he later realized the real solution, and that is to LOVE YOURSELF. BTS says that it is no coincidence that we met, whether, through internet, TV, acquaintance etc., since they believed that no man is an island, no man can stand alone... As you can see in the video, they are at their most vulnerable point when they are left alone... It is the most beautiful moment in life when you are with the people you love the most and even if in between those beautiful moments are the times when we would like to give up everything and run away, you could still say that 'well this is life, I just have to love myself and continue to prove to life that I will not give up, NOT TODAY' ...Also I was reminded of the the book Demian by Hesse, I was re watching tokyo ghoul when there was a part where in kaneki was helping the little girl read , 'The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world' I just realized how kaneki is so similar with sinclair the protagonist in the book. If you have watched the anime you will see how the main character struggled all through out the phase, He is a bird trying to spread it's wings and fly, at first he tried solving his own problems shutting himself out, but then later realized that he needs help from others. You will see the progress from hating his own self to accepting who he is and spreading his WINGS to the world. The ghouls in the story symbolizes all negativity we have in this world, you cannot identify the difference between a ghoul and a true human in the anime (just by one glance) because they socialize and act like a normal person, same as through depression, suicidal thoughts, loneliness and etc. they exist yet they are hard to identify, they exist to to destroy a person slowly like a cancer cell. But Kaneki, a half ghoul and half human, learned how to accept his flows, embrace it and used it. He learned how to love his own self. i If I could summarize everything, it would be with this two words :SELF ACCEPTANCE.. ARMYS all over the world, you are never alone, remember that always..The test of life might be tough just like a math test, but remember that it is only a test, it is okay to score zero, there is always next time and when the next time comes, you will be able to get the right answer... Just try and try, there is no harm in trying, just look at our boys, they proved all the haters wrong. Just burn all negative thoughts with FIRE and RUN towards your DREAM. Fighting!!!! #ILOVEMYSELF.... whooo that was long~~~~~~~ Thank you for reading by:PurpleG
Holy shit. I knew most music vids were connected but I didn't know basically every mv was connected. After the WEBTOON is finished and all that other stuff. I hope they start working on a movie. BIGHIT and BTS are both so talented and smart to make such a big plot staring from 2015 or earlier and continuing in 2019. I hope to see an even bigger future for the boys. I love you bangtan, and I will never stop. Keep up the great work.♥
Do you think that maybe the Skool Luv Affair era was like a prequel to all of this? When the friends were still in high school and were still innocent?
Woah i never thought of that, thats so interesting! And like all the societal problems and injustices they talk about then could have helped shape them into the characters they are in hyyh
The more recent notes conects to Boy in Luv era and a HUGE fight between V and Jin in THAT era. Yoongi's even expelled from school because Jin told the director where was their hideout (the director emotionally blackmailedJin) and how Yoongi protects Kookie from a teacher that beated Kookie, hard.
I have an interesting theory, to add up to this universe: the 7 members represent the 7 sins, which can be clearly seen on fake love. They all have fake love because it is derived from a sin. They finally anderstand that their love is fake and wrong, because it comes from all the wrong places. They dont truly love themselves, which affects their love to the other members, because you cant love other when you dont love yourself, truly love yourself, because of who you truly are. Each member represent the sin that made them reach their tragedy. Jin is probably pride, as he often calls himself worldwide handsome, which to is pretty self-centred. Maybe he is the one that is separated from the others because he thinks that he is better than them, but clearly understands now what a mistake thinking like that is, and what it brought upon the others life. Yoongi is probably Wrath, as he is often shown with fire - the element that represents anger. And he separated himself from jungkook with violence. Hoseok is probably gluttony, as in fake love he is seen lying on a huge load of candy. Also, he is shown taking a lot of medicine, which is an act of over indulgence. Namjoon is probably envy, as he is shown in fake love standing infront of a mirror, and a wealthier himself is standing on the other side. There is a millisecond in which jungkook is shown, probably because jungkook is the wealthiest of them all in that universe. Namjoon envys jungkook. Taehyung is probably sloth, as sloth is usually associated with phones and tv, and v is shown with loads of phones in fake love. Maybe Taehyung represents sloth as he fills guilt that he was too slow to do something about his abusive father, that later that made him snap and kill his father. I still dont know are jungkook and jimin represent, and I highly doubt taehyung being sloth, but I will watch more mv and will try to make better explanations. I know this theory is not perfect, I joined the army literary a few days ago, and this is my first theory video (which is so well planned and edited), which means I havent watched all their music videos yet. Also, feel free to add things in the comments, Im sure I have a lot of missing and wrong things in here, and feel free sharing this theory, maybe someday somebody will actually could connect all the dots. Forgive my bad English💗.
I also thought of them as the seven sins for a while because they are known to make biblical references (apples, snakes, the devil, Icarus, etc) it wouldn’t be a far fetched theory
best theory i've read so far.....Jungkook's chacter is mysterious in fake love..he was watching all other members in the video secretly...wheh he saw suga, fire started..when he was near the water, jimin's room started to fill with water...seriously Fake love's video is the biggest mystry.....anyhow i love BTS....
Its interesting that you see namjoon envys jungkook in the videos although in reality jungkook went to big hit Because of namjoon 😁 but its such a nice idea 👍
New fan here, and I'm sort of blown away by how deep this is. I found BTS 3 days ago, and I'm proud to say that I now can tell them apart (that sounds really bad come to think of it), but this has blown my mind yet again and I don't know how to feel. It's like some second level story arc that goes throughout, and it makes me feel all kinds of Twilight Zone about it. How long in advance was all this planned, and where is it going? Makes me so curious! Plus their stories are heartbreaking, but really important and that makes me love them even more. Army, you've successfully converted me. I am one of you.
not everyone can be happy in this storyline. that's why seokjin has to keep going back over and over again. whether it be taehyung getting arrested, namjoon feeling terrible over being unable to help, jungkook feeling neglected, yoongi feeling lost, hoseok feeling the need for support and jimin feeling forgotten. at least one of them has to be sad. in front of each other they behave normally and act happily, it's simply an act. that's how the industry works. behind closed doors, it doesn't matter who you are. you're supposed to just behave like this and that and be expected not to go mad. love yourself wasn't about happy unconditional love, it was about learning to just accept that side of yourself that everyone wants you to be. tear was about finally losing it and not being able to accept that side and answer was understanding, that no matter what you do... you can't be that person everyone wants you to be. you can't be the industry's ideals without breaking down.
🤯😭 Totally blown away by this, wow! I know this perspective will influence my own. Jeez, I've been sitting here considering it repeatedly, while commenting, & I'm still 🤯. I wish I could give them world & protect them at the same time.😭
Woah... I can understand how they almost broke up late 2017/early 2018... it must be so tough putting on a persona for ARMYs 24/7... in front of a camera... we love our boys so much... hope they find happiness in whatever they do...💜💜
So The ocean has been represented thrice 1 . All 7 Went To The Ocean 2 . Taehyung Jumped Into The Ocean 3 . Jin Went To The Ocean So that's why jin made Red R - Revolution E - Evolution D - Drop In The Ocean😂😂😂😂😂
BTS has been giving a lot of clues with their latest performances of Fake Love: - MAMA awards: th-cam.com/video/atzngYXAs58/w-d-xo.html - Melon Awards: th-cam.com/video/KpJJMtK1C1c/w-d-xo.html
13:56 I want to point something out about Jimin. If you read Jimin's notes carefully, yu learn that Jimin experiences some trauma in a flower emporium. After that, he collapses randomly, so he is always in the hospital (that why he is always in a hospital gown or near hospital bed in the MVs.
SugaEve I'm not a new ARMY but this kind of videos are always helpful, specially since the first album of the most beautiful moment in life trilogy was released 3 years ago... Sometimes I forget about the story 😅
You know what I really want to see Jin acts in real movies or dramas because his facial expressions are sooooo good I don't know how to explain it. Not to forget that he took acting majors😀😀😀
So artsy. All they are is not just music, it is an art. They're incredible, music, mv, portrayed characters. This is so much. I can't contain. Hahaha. Grabe, nakakahype ang feeling, like you wouldn't know what to feel and think towards them, their art is extreme at its best.
who else get emotional while reading or watch a BTS storyline? and then play the following song to make u more emotional 1.) I need u 2.) I'm fine 3.) fake love 4.)s save me last be damn sure not the least 5.) run but the song that get's me the most emotional is I need u that video had me in tears the first time I watched it.
I know ima sound crazy. But if I could choose to live in this “universe” I wouldn’t hesitate. The way that it’s pictured to us makes it look so tragically beautiful, almost poetic. It’s almost like the perfect book. Also, the kind of relationship that was portrayed by the boys in earlier music vids like run makes it even more desirable?? Idk imagine having that type of friends. I would kill for having people like that in my life.
Bless your soul for making this! For now, I didn't even had time to read all of The Notes, but as far as I see _you did a magnificent job_ here putting it all together. But now I feel kinda guilty. I always thought that in Serendipity & DNA all those galaxy/colorful things/(worm)holes were just a concept, that they were there because they were 'trendy' in MVs at that time. hah How could I not thought that there were clues scattered all over those MVs? I think I underestimated BTS and BH. Everyone thought that LY Highlight Reels is a story belonging to the (original) timeline we've seen in other works i.e. MVs, Notes etc. but this really may be an alternative universe. I like this idea, who knows maybe it it? There's still so many unanswered questions. I want to see those mini dramas already... ahh I want to go more into all of this, analyze everything once again, but I don't really have time for that... Why a day can't have like 30 hrs, at least?! ;p
Klaudia 30 hrs a day, huh? I'll ask jin about that. HEY JIN! CAN YOU GO TO AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION TO MAKE DAYS 30 HOURS! Jin:Hey Stahb it. Me: If you use that joke again I will jump off a cliff
Mahn i love your videos so much!! This is the perfect video to drag your non ARMY friends into the BTS rabbit hole!! The whole narrative behind their songs is so unique...it truly sets them apart from other groups ❤❤❤
It's actually brilliant how they were able to map it all out into one story. It goes to show they put a lot of effort in planning and creating their music.
I really pity those haters who can't all those good things about BTS. I mean who could ever hate someone with this kind of creativity and heart and talent. I keep becoming a bigger fan of theirs by the minute. their whole story is super amazing and thanks SUGA & spice for making this video. I did not know the story behind their songs. I only looked at how the whole choreography, vocals, and rapping were amazing. I always thought the lyrics were so amazing too but never this much. thank you again for making me love them more.
It's probably because it all has to do with emotion, perceptions, and it answers questions we may have about ourselves. Maybe if we can sort these things out in our own minds and learn to not worry about it all we can start getting better at (technically) more important stuff like math lol
First of all, this video is amazing. I love it. Secondly, please let's give big hit entertainment and BTS for being so freaking amazing. This is beautiful. This is literally what some people go through in their lives. They've lost touch of themselves and are fighting their inner demons, hoping that someone hears their cry and helps them. This explains why most of their videos look like puzzles to an even bigger picture. This is just beautiful. Thank you BTS. God bless you
I am so glad I came across this video, I am new to BTS and I have been obsessed with them for days, and I thought there was something going on in their videos... IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!
Since I'm new (Hi Army!) This was EXTREMELY helpful. I was so lost and this is amazing! Thank you for putting this together. Honestly, this whole thing just left me speechless. I don't think I can praise BTS enough.
I swear to god I keep seeing theories of Jin dying before (and hence self destructive behaviour) or Jin watching his friends die and being all alone in the end to die anyway, but this is the first I’ve seen where Jin is the main focal point that is jumping between different parallels/timelines to avoid the self destructive behaviour patterns and this totally makes sense with the song Butterfly (which could mean to describe the Butterfly Effect/ Game Theory/ Chaos theory- and t sits well with the videos they’re making full of clashes and changes and colours. How everytime Jin makes a choice to change something for the better it starts a new cycle all of again BUT every single one of them ends in some tragedy or the other because Jin is so overly concerned with making his friends happy/alive. And in the end he decides that he needs to be happy with who he is, his roles, and he cannot control the lives of his friends even if he has the power to. I LOVED YOUR VIDEO SO MUCH.
I'm here after reading save me,I saw many theory videos which are not convincing enough...but your theory video is perfect !!! thanks for uploading !!!
thank you for this beautiful video. you edit it so beautifully . 2 COOL FOR SKOOL, DARK AND WILD - about growing up and defend and their ground while having struggles with the society HYYH- psychological issues WINGS- literature/philosphy YOU NEVER WALK ALONE- social issues/current affairs LOVE YOURSELF- self-love and improvement. This kpop group is not only an underdog that gives us music and entertainment but also how they present and deliver the music and lyrics is truly deep and meaningful, (sometimes it speaks to my soul) it is philosophical and intellectual, as the leader himself. Thanks to his hip hop taste and an open perspective he perceive, look where they are now. They deserved it. BTS taste are like the mixture of western+korean style music. and that's what makes them stand out than any other typical kpop groups. fight me you disagree
it's sooooo true that they are like a mixture of western+korean music ....BUT ..but Koreans say that they have "HAN" which is a huge compliment for BTS as South Korean idols, since idols are shamed for having shallow music Han is a korean term which i may not explain very well. just think of it as a very Korean thing - a Nostalgic feeling which Koreans relate to (in this context) when people said BTS have "Han" they meant that their music is endearing and has a homely feeling to it :') im crying tears of joy over the fact that the general public could see the sincerity in their music
Can we just appreciate the time and years BTS have taken to write this story all just to give one simple message but people tend to forget at times which is to love yourself👏🏼 Like, if you agree let’s get a thumbs up👍🏼
Yall I- I just have a feeling like they've really came somewhere out of this world to ... idk tell all of us something through their music or smth like I just *can't* possibly believe that they really are normal ppl like us
Girl... I have to say this video ALONE is a masterpiece, I Finally understood what was going on. you’ve got a new subbie. I’m looking forward to your work. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
im literally in tears. the whole BTS storyline is so touching, and i think thats the reason why they are different from othe groups. Most groups nowadays focus on completely different topics than BTS do. BTS have focused on mental health, which is very important even tho a lot of people dont give it much attention. But BTS have almost only focused on that very topic, which is why i think we have such a big fanbase. The show us that looks and songs arent the only important thing on a group. Except for the storyline, BTS is a vvvv respectful group and they all have different but amazing personalities. Not only that, but its like they complete eachother like a puzzle. Without one piece the whole picture cant be complete. Without one member, BTS isnt BTS. Its amazing how many people theyve helped, im sure they helped almost all of us with going through struggles in life. But lets never forget that all of them are humans too and have feelings too. Now imma go cry in my corner
This is just one theory, but anyway it is a good intro for ARMYs just getting into BTS. I just want to note something about Taehyung and Namjoon's relationship. I always got the feeling that Namjoon betrayed Taehyung's trust, and it was further confirmed when the Highlight Reels came out. About the call he missed, maybe it was the call from prison, but maybe it was the very first phone call in prologue, right after Taehyung killed his father. More symbolically, these two seem to have a problem of misunderstanding one another, miscommunication. In the poster with the two, "Save Me" inverted (from the other's perspective) reads "I'm Fine". In the Highlight Reels, Taehyung lets go of his phone - he is hurt remembering Namjoon, but he doesn't want to try to contact him any more.
The one thing that goes through in my mind is that Namjoon couldn't answer the phone because after they had split apart he had fallen into bad and regretful things (like the others) hence "he too is a tempter, he too is a link to the second, the evil world in which i no longer wanted anything to do." Taehyung was that tempter, after a while Tae fell into bad and regretful things, trying to pull Namjoon with him, but Namjoon wanted nothing to do with it after awhile.
Hi, I'm not an ARMY, as you can see, I'm too old to be one, but I admire BTS incredibly so. When I first heard of them at the AMAs I disliked them very much, but then I started searching You Tube (for a very specific reason) to get an idea of who they really were and what they were about and I got more and more impressed and interested and sucked in by their story (from nobodies to legends was one of them) and how Rapmon and Yoongi got disrespected by some rappers, so many things, that little by little I began to really admire them and respect them. But I was totally lost with their MVs and what they meant and the more I read in the comments , the more confused I got. There's so much I still don't know but I'm fascinated by the stories, they are so deep in content , so much symbolism. I can truly relate to this one in particular and I have cried my eyes out. When you wish you were back in a specific place in time and change your decisions. The friendships of your youth that are so treasured but will eventually disappear as you grow. Anyway, you mention a scavenger hunt for the Smeraldo flower shop, I never heard of that. I just want to have an idea of what to watch precisely first to begin understanding what comes after. Believe me I'm making a big effort here, because the story fascinates me. So I would really appreciate it. I think someone told me that it's also intertwined with their personal lives, so I would like to know if that's true. Sorry I wrote so much and I hope you don't mind. BTS doesn't only have young fans like yourself and so many others, there are older ones, like me, but not for the wrong reasons, I admire how far they've come with your help(ARMY) and their hard and tenacious work. I hope they stay together for a long time.
Joolz4U Just curious, how old are you? Sure there are a lot of preteen/teen fans who snatch up tickets quickly, but Army is not that young (why else do you think we’re so organized and have so much spending power loll). If you want a place for older fans, I suggest the Bangtan subreddit, most people there are 20-40 yo. The Smeraldo thing: there were people who discovered a fake flower shop around the time of comeback that had ties to the BTS storyline, just Google it and you’ll find a lot of info. Also look in my description box for videos you should watch to see the full scenes summarized in this video. And to get hints of the developing story, just keep up with BTS - they scatter clues throughout their music show performances, music videos, and sometimes even social media. For example, the newest clue is in their recent Gayo performance where the words “welcome to the magic shop” appeared. (and whether or not you want to call urself an army, you certainly already know enough to be one - welcome!)
I'm 47 y/o . I have seen how organized you are and I have read many comments where you can tell they do not come from a preteen nor even a teenager, but I never imagined there were older fans, although you do mention from 20-40 y/o. I do know women that are much older than me that are crazy about a specific BTS member, especially Jimin and V. I don't even go there, they're too young and I have sons their age. I wouldn't want an older woman going after my kids. Anyway, thanks for the information and I will do as you tell me , Google it, I'm sure I'll get more confused LOL! And yes, I have noticed that they put clues all over the place, but since I'm missing pieces of information I can't really elaborate a theory. I will check out your description box and begin my own scavenger hunt. "Welcome to the magic shop" sounds so interesting , I'll try to keep up. Thanks again. You're really sweet.
Joolz4U No problem! and yes, BTS has a hugely diverse fanbase of all ages - this is because although they are packaged like a typical boyband, their messages are timeless. If you really want to get deep into the symbolism, BTS draws inspiration from various literary works and art. “Demian” by Hesse is the most well known one but there is a whole reading list
Joolz4U BTS has a lot a fans older than you . Being a fan won't mean you are going after them, it just means you enjoy their music and appreciate them as artists. Even my mom likes them and she's 53.

The dealer is a hooded figure who resembles Death (who also appeared in Fire?). The beginning quote reads: "Magic Shop is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude." Then we see an alternate version of events: Jungkook pulling Yoongi out of the fire, Jin picking up the dollar bills that a cigarette fell onto in front of Namjoon (I now think there was originally a gas station explosion involving Namjoon in HYYH era, thought this is still unclear). Instead of Taehyung's dead father, we see Hoseok resting with Taehyung and his sister (possibly after intervening). Jungkook stands over a construction site with his arms spread, a callback to the Notes where he contemplated suicide over a construction site. Most of the video are scenes of the entire group together, alternating with scenes of Jimin running in a hospital alone. There are many scenes that parallel the Prologue MV, especially at the end, where instead of Taehyung ready to jump into the deep sea, it is Jin. So what do you guys think of the new hint "Come to the Magic Shop"? My best guess taking a minimalist interpretation is that Jin gets the Smeraldo flowers at a magic shop which are linked to the wormholes/time travel, but curious to see what you guys think
SUGA & spice what about March 17 and shamrock and love, faith, hope and luck and possible MV or next album ??? Or the other 3 love yourself album series, wonder, answer, and tear??? It's getting crazy.
This is pretty amazing, to be honest, having pulled it together in a way that reads very coherently. Thank you so much for putting it together! I think it drives very close to not just what's going on in the timeline but also outside of it - in other words, it's reflecting also the experiences, hopes and fears of not just BTS themselves, but ARMYs and by extension, the world that we're all living in and the state of the current generation. BTS's work is so incredibly meta that it strikes a chord with many people, whether they realise it or not, because *it touches on common human experiences*. There's love, loss, and longing; nostalgia and wishful thinking; missed connections and the roads not taken. I Need U, Run and Spring Day in particular juxtapose emotion against visuals so strongly that even without knowing anything, you already sense the wrongness that's creeping up on all of them. Even though I've seen some works from other groups that fall in a similar style/category, BTS somehow took it to another level by threading the story arc throughout almost all of their works. It's just amazing.
Sugarsniper Great comment! I think you've put into words what a lot of us have been feeling. You have a gift with language, and express yourself well. Thanks!
The whole story line hits hard personally, I lost all my closest friends to death and some battled addiction who passed as well as abuse. It almost scarily lines up too perfect.
BTS's music tries to bring comfort to people that have suffered things like they present in their story line, since they KNOW this are real struggles young people goes tru.
This is the BEST and most comprehensive explanation I have ever seen!!! Amazing job. THANK YOU!! The ending is such a kick to the ovaries. Seriously, WHO originally came up with this?!?! To have the stories span over 2 YEARS worth of concepts and MVs. It's an amazing feat and incredible work of art.
10:41 omg i started crying at this part when your caption says "Did jungkook die in that car accident?". I know he didn't (in highlight reel he survived and was in the hospital) and I've watched all of these scenes before but they still get to me. They hit me hard in the feels. I am about 2/3 done with reading the notes from the love yourself albums (took me long enough to read) and they really do relate with the save me webtoon. I wish I read them all earlier and then there is the THE NOTES 1 book which I still haven't buy yet (broke af). I know that book contains everything and maybe even more notes that fill up the plot holes, I really want that book. Why is it so expensive??? But more or less, I get the BU storyline and love how they planned everything from the start and the bittersweet and sad things that they go through to grow into adulthood
@@aashanaramavat3152 It is basically about the BU (BTS Universe) theories. It is a fictional storyline that BTS created through mainly their MVs and later on they include a little booklet inside their Love Yourself and Map of the Soul series albums that have small diary entries related to the storyline. You can google "BTS Universe" to understand more
I always love hearing others interpretations and analysis!! it took me a while of replays of their music videos to understand their complex world, and im glad you made this video because now things make a bit more sense! Also, I couldnt help but tear up watching this... their story and these characters they create are so relatable and the themes hit home... I rlly admire the bighit writers and bts for making this TT Also I admire and enjoy all of army’s theories, theyre always fun to read!
I legitimately cried. I already new about this theory when I first started liking BTS when their 'the most beautiful moments in life; young forever' album came out. So I didn't expect to cry. I had these theories in my head along with my sister and this video kinda proved it. I didn't expect to cry but I did and I am sad 😭 My hearteu! 💔
Okay first: great video. I'm super new to the ARMY and this was really informative. Second: I literally own the truck they ust this whole time... Like I drive it every day
This makes me so emotional.. first I watched their whole Wings movie, then I read the webtoon and now I am seeing this video and I started to cry because the whole story is just so beautiful .. how did they come up with such a brilliant idea.. Thank you so much for this gorgeous video, I really appreciate it because now I seem to understand the story better thanks to you. 💜 Please tell me, how did you discover all of this? Because a lot of this seems to be correct relating to the webtoon! Thank you again, I'm so happy I was able to watch this.. 💜
This made me cry and im just, I understand everything now but jin omg.he brought me to tears . he just wanted a happy normal life with his friends and he wanted his friends to have that as well, but when the problems came , it took them away from one another. He was sad when he saw what all happened so he tries to change it ,getting what he wanted for everyone and himself only to be met by those problems no matter what. So he learns they need to love themselves to maybe perhaps have a good ending. Maybe in the future they will have one but gosh . BTS what have to done to me ?! I love yall but hwiyting me in the feels like this.I love you ARMY.

You were almost spot on though, and this very video was one of the biggest things that helped me get into BTS 💜
Suga is a good boy
SUGA & spice you did wonderfully thank you T^T
"listen to bts", they said. "it'll be fun", they said.
We have fallen down the rabbit hole with a shovel
At the end when Jin removes his sweater, that one hit me the hardest. Because you see him throw it on the chair, which already is taken up by many other sweaters and shirts. How many times has Jin really gone through, and how many times does he have to change not only his sweater, but the boys endings? And it always somehow ended in a tragedy. For Jin, his role hit me the hardest, as he has suffered countless of different realities. It's like he takes one step forward, and two steps back. Truly heartbreaking.
Wow, your comment was really beautiful in a sad way
Throwing the sweater and going up the stairs, i wud believe, means that he didnt get ready to go.. With the boys.. And i am guessing it was the beach day.. He equated himself out of the group or say the boys lives for them to figure it out on their own no matter how much he wanted them to have the best.. He gave up.. Bcz no matter what he did they fell back to their 'destiny'
And destiny can only be changed once they want it to..
Idk... My theory
i was already crying but now im literally sobbing
@@marissayeo8436 It could be.. I thought the same rn
Honestly, I can't imagine what it would feel like to be in his situation, and I don't want to.
maybe that’s why he had a recorder.
S7F7L7L idk how or why, but I straight up got ‘happy death day’ vibes from that Lel
Nooo taehyung story is very sad... because he is not save Home if your not save home then where? It al begins with your home what you learn if you feel happy and then you can live happy outsider world
You're forgetting that he snitched on the boys and their hideout
Have any of you guys seen the movie 'The Butterfly Effect'? In that movie, the protagonist keeps rewriting the past to try to make everyone happy, and in the end he realised that they can't be happy if he was ever part of their life. So he writes himself out of the equation to make them happy. Like Jin filming the moments, he realises it's not right. He has to sacrifice himself to see the others as truly happy
hi5, i thought about this as well
But wait I thought going back to prevent a tragedy from happening but it still happens no matter how many times you try to stop it, was called a Paradox effect.
Genesis Shuler
But, it seems the Butterfly Effect can be solved, but it requires the sacrifice of someone and in this case it’s Jin. If there was no solution then it probably would be a Paradox Effect, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Karoline Luvi
Ah, I think I'm getting what you're saying. Lets just hope that Jin succeeds. From what I saw when BTS released their comeback Fair Love trailer it looks like it's Jungkook's turn to go back to save his hyungs
And the story starts with BUTTERFLY
Namjoon stop cutting *THE FREAKING ONIONS*
RM, please stop cutting them! It's annoying!!
Please do
i swear i'm not crying its just sweat coming out of my eyes.........
we all know Namjoon cant cut onions
Lejindary Kookies but he cant
That's a kdrama I would binge
namjin is king Shouldn’t be a Kdrama as they’re dramas, and they just don’t have a big “Record” I guess to put it? A better idea is a whole Korean show series; That’d be interesting.
Coming soon...
Actually we are getting one for real
@@nj7728 w h a t
@@riannai.6172 why? They are making a drama based on bts universe. It'll be released in the 2nd half of 2020. Thtz wht i meant by tht comment.
And this is why us Armys are better than FBI
So true, genius comment. 🤣🤣🤣
Even if I know that these episodes are just fictional and are there to illustrate their concepts and the meaning of their song, a little part of my mind is still sad because we all know that in every fiction, there is a part of authenticity.
Never read a more better comment... this touched me deeply...
yeah so true and sad =(
The thing is.. Our boys have gone through things sad things heartbreaking things. But we should be proud of them yourself and not sad. They are happier and we got them there

Gonna do that too so that I don't start crying.

Yes to be Happy and not to cry
Jin’s character makes me so sad. How many times has he relived the same days? I think he thought at some point he would just leave the boys to live their life because they all seemed happy and had met women to bring light into their life but even that didn’t work out. And it seems like every time he thinks he has one member in his car he loses another. I wonder what the formula will be to save them all. RM will be the first and slowly the rest will hopefully gather for another ‘road trip’.
Anele Malinga I think the boys are all alter egos of him
annyeonghaseyo beaches Woah. 😲
annyeonghaseyo beaches of I died
They form a boy band called BTS and live together happily ever after.
this reminds me of an old movie called butterfly effect. the story is a little bit the same, where main character tried to save his love ones by trying to alter some events in the past and when he succeed, another events appear in his future (or present, i forgot) where his another love ones are hurt/dead. he tried to go back to the past to changed that too. it repeats a few times too, but still he couldn't save all of them, he had to sacrifice one to save another. in the end, (i think) he ends up dead trying to save all of them.
and this video reminds me the butterfly effect theory. where Jin's trying to alter the past and save his friends.

If this was on twitter i'd retweet this times a million YES
Yup u r right.
I'm still wondering about the ending of Euphoria though.. why is there Jungkook getting hit by a car again? Does it mean he gets hit by a car anyway?
EZRA this is by far the best explanation I've read spread it like wild fire
I’m confused, How is it alright if hoseok dies.....
Guys. I have officially fallen into this fandom and universe. Now I see why my friends stan them.
I think what really sells me on Jin, is that when he catches the flowers and takes the shirt off and looks into the camera he just looks SO WEARY. Like he's done this 100 times before and nothing changes.
all this time jin or another was trying to help. This shows you need to love yourself before loving anyone else because in the end only you can help yourself.
avocado exactly.. That's where Epiphany comes in..

But for me loving the people I do is what makes my life worth living

yeaa me too. You have to watch BTS storyline explained for more details ,as this video is one year old
Luisa Maria Geibel it's been a year for me and I'm still in shock of how much talent they possess
O_O Im just sitting here, bawling my eyes out. *Takes a deep DEEP breath.*

Here's my theoryyyyy
The next album is gonna be called "Moments of happiness" and it's probably gonna be a repackage album of all their old songs.
Its probably wrong but
K so like I reread this and sis was I on drugs or something? 😂 if this were their next album it would pretty much conclude their storyline which I don’t think will happen anytime soon so maybe this album I was talking about could be like a conclusion album to their whole storyline..? It could also be an upcoming album considering BTS might have to go to military enlistment (not sure tho)
Well I’m happy I read that
i cried thanks-

Crying, again, for the 20000 time, wow just wow
**BigHit has left the Chat**
Lol that was amazing
Okay, I think Im starting to get the thing! Jin's character is very complex tought! He is the one who tryes to take back time and start the things over and over, but he always fails. Everytime he does something and managges to prevent a bad happening, a new one always occours. And the key for solving it, so the boys, all of them can live happily, is that they have to learn to love themselves. If they dont, then everything starts over and over, if they do, things will change and everything will be fine.
Gosh, these boys are amazing! And this is still just a small glimpse of the WHOLE storyline!! * sigh * will they EVER explain it?!
I dont think they are going to explain until we crack it. They probably enjoy reading the fan theories. I love being able to go through and come up with theories. I was thinking about writing all of these into an actual written story to test them. I have a feeling we are close though
Alex Wolvette yeah, I like ur logic
Or Brave. You know, changing fate and stuff.
Alex Wolvette So I’m this case JIMIN was the only one without a girl in the highlight reel and did not love himself enough which caused that alternate universe to fail
i've been closely following bts since boy in luv and bITCH THIS GOT ME SHOOK EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW
i appreciated their music and their individuality before, but now i appreciate it a hundred times more. i’ve been a fan of kpop for years and i don’t think i’ve seen any other band (correct me if i’m wrong) put this much thought into the meaning of their lyrics and videos. bts truly are something unique to the scene. they push the envelope on (usually taboo) topics such as mental health, abuse, suicide, etc. that many other groups are afraid to talk about. especially when you combine things like yoongi’s agust d stuff (talking about the music industry and his own mental health issues) as well as all of these videos. i respect and admire the fuck out of all seven of them for being able to talk about these things and create stories throughout their videos with a sense of coherency and intellect. they really are, in my opinion, something incredibly rare and special to the kpop scene. i love them so much more.
This is so me....
I sat on this for a while because although I don't have an actual proper theory of my own, I did see a lot of connections between all of the MVs. It's even possibly got roots going back to Dark&Wild era although HYYH is where it really begins, so I won't involve D&W.
---
We already know all seven of them were lost and broken in their own ways but came together, possibly while in school, and built a strong friendship with each other(echoing BTS in real life).
They don't seem to believe in their happiness...'
Very telling!
Waah that's so cool and i actually read it all XD
the Jimin theory is so good though but my head is spinning again Dx
So he kissed the statue in means of kissing Abraxas (or whatever demon that statue was based off of)
K i'm gonna stop myself because if i dont, you'll be reading for a LONG time haha. Soooooooo ya that's what thousands of hours of research got me.
Bighit has too much time on their hands oml this is so smart
a yEAR AGO?!?
how can we be sure about you didn't time travel, too?
what i am thinking is both big-hit and these theory makers are always mysterious and might time traveled cause big-hit hides so many details in there videos about future mv's ever since bts debut and every time i figure them out it gets more creepy and scary for me to handle and seeing how most theory's are true makes me freak out more
@@kaluvapadmasri2982 they are timetravelers or they really planned bts's whole career from begin to end with all mv's and all
@@ksun6571 I think they are time travelers, it's kinda suspicious
@@kaluvapadmasri2982 still they could have plannes bts's succes and all
Some people might find all these theories crazy.
OF. THIS. 👍🏻
I personally love how BTS tells relevant stories. Like about mental illness and things that really mess up people. I feel like they’re saying that they understand and that there’s hope. But also that sci-fi twist!! Love it!
I love your comment.💕
syrenz14 now this is an insight! Love it!
Can this be turned into a tv series like seriously I'd be up all in that 😂💜
I'd rather have a movie😭
The music does a pretty good job at illustrating this all as well :P
Thers is begins youth now, wish granted
LINE WEBTOON is making a series with BigHit called "Save Me" that follows the storyline
of the fictional universe with all these references.
Now I know the story, I’m a new fan so that’s why I wasn’t following up on BTS universe.. I can’t thank you enough man!! You are awesome
I feel the same way.
Starting out new, it's hard to know where to begin but this is perfect.
Welcome to the ARMY fam 💜💜
Jjang!
man im a new fan too.. it was hard for me understand why ARMY keeps crying, when I watching their vids but until I got a glimpse that there was this story now I'm crying the heck too TTuTT Thank you for this!
Do bear in mind though that some of what was said is fan theory though. Bighit unfortunately has non confirmed EVERYTHING. At least not yet. One can hope right? Lol
Same i feel you beacuse im new too
Jin kinda reminds of the the girl in the Japanese movie 'the girl who leaped through time' (if you have time I suggest you watch it, it is a nice movie)...
#ILOVEMYSELF....
whooo that was long~~~~~~~ Thank you for reading

아미KimTaeKookV have you saw the movie 'whats your name ?' Its an anime but it kinda relates to the theories i guess 😅
아미KimTaeKookV too long but I'll see the movie later 😊
Tomodachi91ve so they were even protecting each other back then and even then Jin was always enduring pain
Cornelia Eboh yeah maybe their all songs are related
where can i see that?
The team alongside the BTS are genius. That's why BTS is soaring high now.
IM REWATCHING THIS AFTER READING THE WEBTOON
mochi _latte I’M GOING OUT OF mY MIND
Sameeeeeee
Moonlight Dream it's really n awesome theory.
Wow great theory
Welcome to the family🤗♥
Welcome 😊💜
Welcome and if u still puzzle regarding the story please watch Xceleste video on LY era & what happened in order
Not sure I have done that yet, so thanks for the tip and I'll go look!
It's great to see "new" Armys interested in this Story!!!
not everyone can be happy in this storyline. that's why seokjin has to keep going back over and over again. whether it be taehyung getting arrested, namjoon feeling terrible over being unable to help, jungkook feeling neglected, yoongi feeling lost, hoseok feeling the need for support and jimin feeling forgotten. at least one of them has to be sad. in front of each other they behave normally and act happily, it's simply an act. that's how the industry works. behind closed doors, it doesn't matter who you are. you're supposed to just behave like this and that and be expected not to go mad. love yourself wasn't about happy unconditional love, it was about learning to just accept that side of yourself that everyone wants you to be. tear was about finally losing it and not being able to accept that side and answer was understanding, that no matter what you do... you can't be that person everyone wants you to be. you can't be the industry's ideals without breaking down.
🤯😭 Totally blown away by this, wow! I know this perspective will influence my own. Jeez, I've been sitting here considering it repeatedly, while commenting, & I'm still 🤯. I wish I could give them world & protect them at the same time.😭
They use their Persona. Today Namjoon talked about the masks we wear for other people. Fml
Woah... I can understand how they almost broke up late 2017/early 2018... it must be so tough putting on a persona for ARMYs 24/7... in front of a camera... we love our boys so much... hope they find happiness in whatever they do...💜💜
This will forever be the only kdrama i need.
So The ocean has been represented thrice
1 . All 7 Went To The Ocean
2 . Taehyung Jumped Into The Ocean
3 . Jin Went To The Ocean
So that's why jin made Red
R - Revolution
E - Evolution
D - Drop In The Ocean😂😂😂😂😂
Gpmplayz thank you for this after watching this incredibly sad video I needed a laugh
"I am red with love" is actually their new comeback hint...this is scary
Andrea Balk wait but, the new comeback is being called lucky and it’s supposed to be based on happiness
@@regina1996 No, they haven't talked about a new era yet. We're just looking at hints in their performances so nothing is confirmed
Andrea Balk ya but we know it’s being called lucky because they accidentally released a teaser for it, it was called Love Youself “Lucky”
BTS has been giving a lot of clues with their latest performances of Fake Love:
- MAMA awards: th-cam.com/video/atzngYXAs58/w-d-xo.html
- Melon Awards: th-cam.com/video/KpJJMtK1C1c/w-d-xo.html
I anxiously await another theory video from you! Your explanations are the best!
Your thought is right. In Epiphany(?) Jin tells that. Look at the lyrics.
And looks at the mv as well... it relates to the story as well. Of time travelling etc.
@SUGA & spice, you can’t time travel.
Seriously one of the best videos to show a new ARMY! I'll show this video to my friends to help them somewhat understand the story!
Oh man, what kind of rabbit hole have I fallen into now? My mind is racing with ideas and connections between the MVs- someone save me
Save me save me. Oh oh. Save me-me-me!😂 I'm sorry. I had 2
So artsy. All they are is not just music, it is an art. They're incredible, music, mv, portrayed characters. This is so much. I can't contain. Hahaha. Grabe, nakakahype ang feeling, like you wouldn't know what to feel and think towards them, their art is extreme at its best.
A movie can be made on this video
who else get emotional while reading or watch a BTS storyline? and then play the following song to make u more emotional
1.) I need u
2.) I'm fine
3.) fake love
4.)s save me
last be damn sure not the least
5.) run
but the song that get's me the most emotional is I need u that video had me in tears the first time I watched it.
You forgot butterfly
I cried reading the webtoon and watching this...
I'm speechless , all I can say is I love bts
I don't want to ruin the moment but 14:43. "My balls man" -Namjoon
Why a day can't have like 30 hrs, at least?! ;p
Klaudia ikr! I’m shook too
Klaudia 30 hrs a day, huh? I'll ask jin about that. HEY JIN! CAN YOU GO TO AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION TO MAKE DAYS 30 HOURS!
Jin:Hey Stahb it.
Me: If you use that joke again I will jump off a cliff
ytsas41680 music videos and highlight reels
Klaudia Me too but I don't have enough time to see those theories
BTS's Universe is better than Marvel's or DC's Universe.... right? i want a movieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Lol NO, are you serious?
They made Burn The Stage.
I admit that their universe is good, but don't compare them, every universe has their own things. Comparing them has no much meaning really
@@NebandKnots I didn't see it! I wanted too!
I WANT ONE!! You're right! It can vrely be magic!
If more artist and influential people were to spread the same message that bts does I think this world would be a better place. PERIODT.
Mahn i love your videos so much!!
This is the perfect video to drag your non ARMY friends into the BTS rabbit hole!!
The whole narrative behind their songs is so unique...it truly sets them apart from other groups ❤❤❤
omg your evil and i love it CONSPIRACY ARMY LIFE
does this video sum up all of bts music and music videos
Can u tell me what are these HYYH 22 notes??
It's actually brilliant how they were able to map it all out into one story. It goes to show they put a lot of effort in planning and creating their music.
All my friends are non-armys and everyone in my school either doesnt know BTS, doesnt like BTS, or absolutely HATES them 😭
Oh god..thanks for explaning this in order! I know that bts are giving us more than just a song..
But messages that change the world.
BTS' album must have been the well-written and well-versed album ever made. This is no joke. Their content is no joke.
When you're brain juices cooperate better in this than in your math lessons 😂
Jungkook and yoongi story had me crying
That sweetness between JK and Suga is actually kind of true in real life.
Since I'm new (Hi Army!) This was EXTREMELY helpful. I was so lost and this is amazing! Thank you for putting this together. Honestly, this whole thing just left me speechless. I don't think I can praise BTS enough.
V.E. Gray me too. Im lost too. Thanks to this mv, now i can rewatch the mvs and can get the idea what its all about. Bts give us a very hard homework.
Yeah, true. I love that they made something to make people think
2 COOL FOR SKOOL,
DARK AND WILD - about growing up and defend and their ground while having struggles with the society
HYYH- psychological issues
WINGS- literature/philosphy
YOU NEVER WALK ALONE- social issues/current affairs
LOVE YOURSELF- self-love and improvement.
BTS taste are like the mixture of western+korean style music. and that's what makes them stand out than any other typical kpop groups. fight me you disagree
it's sooooo true that they are like a mixture of western+korean music ....BUT ..but
Koreans say that they have "HAN" which is a huge compliment for BTS as South Korean idols, since idols are shamed for having shallow music
Han is a korean term which i may not explain very well. just think of it as a very Korean thing - a Nostalgic feeling which Koreans relate to (in this context)
when people said BTS have "Han" they meant that their music is endearing and has a homely feeling to it
:') im crying tears of joy over the fact that the general public could see the sincerity in their music
Alesha Kyla i won't fight you. Totally agree about everything you said.
it has many foreign flavors too
aww thanks dear army
Kpop sounds superficial to them I'd consider them as a Korean group
Can we just appreciate the time and years BTS have taken to write this story all just to give one simple message but people tend to forget at times which is to love yourself👏🏼 Like, if you agree let’s get a thumbs up👍🏼
Yall I- I just have a feeling like they've really came somewhere out of this world to ... idk tell all of us something through their music or smth like I just *can't* possibly believe that they really are normal ppl like us
The members used to call Taehyung alien...MAYBE ALL OF THEM ARE ALIENS😲😲😲😲
AND CAME UP WITH THIS STORYLINE???!!!!!
_I am now questioning my life as an ARMY_
Girl... I have to say this video ALONE is a masterpiece, I Finally understood what was going on. you’ve got a new subbie. I’m looking forward to your work. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Dying is easy, surviving takes courage, I feel for Jin’s character.
Me: *is crying a river in my room when watching this*
BTS's made-up story could actually be the world's most interesting story.
im literally in tears.
the whole BTS storyline is so touching, and i think thats the reason why they are different from othe groups.
In the Highlight Reels, Taehyung lets go of his phone - he is hurt remembering Namjoon, but he doesn't want to try to contact him any more.
but Tae does speak to Namjoon when he ends up killing his father. Namjoon picks up the call and answers Tae
I'll look it up and look for that reading list. Thanks again. BTW I liked and subscribed just now .
Joolz4U BTS has a lot a fans older than you . Being a fan won't mean you are going after them, it just means you enjoy their music and appreciate them as artists. Even my mom likes them and she's 53.
I'm a new fan of BTS and this really moved me! Their music is so deep and meaningful and I didn't even realize it
I'm tearing up 😭💜💜💜

Hands of fate, reaching out for a helping hand, a hand that silences/blinds etc...hands are obviously important in the new comeback and we can write a whole essay on what they might represent. I am really loving this theory about the rooms for each character in the new MV: twitter.com/ilsansqueen/status/997433522842357762?s=21
- *Music Video Teaser #1: Fake Love*
The characters all walk into a magic shop where they trade items from the WINGS era short films, in exchange for items from the LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reels. The dealer is a hooded figure who resembles Death (who also appeared in Fire?). The beginning quote reads: "Magic Shop is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude."

- *Music Video: Singularity*
Taehyung dances with a phantom figure and masks. Featured prominently in the choreography is his hand, also a focal point for him in previous videos (Prologue, Stigma). He gazes at a pool of water, reminiscent of Narcissus.

- *HYYH Note: Jungkook on May 22, Year 22*
Jungkook describes a near death experience in which a voice asks him, “To live will be more painful than to die, do you still want to live?

- *Music Video: Euphoria*
We see flashbacks to scenes in HYYH era. Then we see an alternate version of events: Jungkook pulling Yoongi out of the fire, Jin picking up the dollar bills that a cigarette fell onto in front of Namjoon (I now think there was originally a gas station explosion involving Namjoon in HYYH era, thought this is still unclear).

*Other Comments*:
-------------------------
- *15:34** should be “Where’s YOONGI?”* My bad, please correct it if you’re adding subtitles!
- The quotes are from the *HYYH Notes*, which are fictional journal entries scattered throughout their albums. *NO, THEY DO NOT DESCRIBE REAL EVENTS IN THE LIVES OF THE BTS MEMBERS*. However, BTS members do use their real names for their characters in the fictional universe.
- To explore the beautiful *WINGS era* in-depth, I recently made another set of videos; check them out!

As always, feel free to discuss your own interpretations!
I love this so much. I live HYYH era from bottom of my heart♡♡♡.
Please this the best video ever don't take this down ever..... please

Great comment!
We all miss bangtan good old days. We need another bts stories like this
They really good in working this story... I'm crying... why??? why??? Their songs are more than the words and melody. It was deep more.
Could you please explain it in short?
@@aashanaramavat3152 It is basically about the BU (BTS Universe) theories. It is a fictional storyline that BTS created through mainly their MVs and later on they include a little booklet inside their Love Yourself and Map of the Soul series albums that have small diary entries related to the storyline. You can google "BTS Universe" to understand more
I'm new to this and my heart is breaking. Ya'll have had to live with this for years.
Like I drive it every day
Oh my god, this was so great at explaining the MVs and the connections between them with all the wormholes and everything. Fantastic job!
I am a newbie army...can u tell me the name of the webtoon???pretty please🤗🤗
