I have been suffering from yips for a long time. Just terrible. Have thought of giving-up the game I love so dearly. This was a great session. I felt like I was the student. Brilliant. Coach you are really immersed in how and what you teach. I can't wait to try these drills myself. Thank you for helping!
This is the best chipping yips video i have seen to date - 5 handicap yipper and its already helping me already as it makes sense and simplistic but v effective.. thank you
I really like this channel. You are really inspiring to me because you’re helping someone who’s a 20 handicap. So many channels are dedicated to people who are low handicap golfers. I am a 15 and this channel is very helpful practical for me. Thank you!!
Outstanding methodology. Just subscribed and will check to see if you have videos on common faults with the full swing, such as fat shots, over the top downswing, etc.
😮 Only 10 comments on this outstanding video.I just watched this as the worst yipper i know. The methology is on point and using a mid handicapper help the majority .Its given my mental yipping thoughts a glimmer of like.🤞🏽
So pleased to hear that it makes sense to you. Can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to see Alan who had the putting yips and BILL who had the chipping yips both now playing great golf and enjoying their retirement.
@@thescoringmethod Yes i,ve just discovered your video so going to try putting the work in.I'm a 16 handicapper but my short game putting, chipping pitching turn me into a 26 handicapper.Mentally thinking of quitting the game. When i practice on my own or before a round i feel and play every shot well but as soon i'm on course with four ball or someone watches me i yipp, thin, chunk and even air shot on anything from puts ro chips.Thinking of hypnosis?
Interesting swing thoughts. On my course there are lots of spots with hard packed clay and thinning grass. I still need to carry 10 ft to clear the grass to roll the ball on the green. I'm chunking or blading all the time. Any tips?
Those tight hard plan lies are tough. Step 1 would be hybrid to remove the big error step 2 would be to bump and run with 8iron with a putting stroke step 3 would be to use SW but to use more leading edge by delofting the club

It was like I was watching myself in action and my lessons never rendered a long term fix. Great lesson and the improvement was truly remarkable

Do you ever coach in Florida?
Thank you for this gem. Great to see a coach helping people with the yips. It’ll be good to see a video for full swing.
More to come! Glad you liked this one
@@thescoringmethod Glad to know. Can’t wait. 👍
Brilliant. Thank you.
Honored to share

I will get to work on those for sure.
Any word on Bill (Phil?) Great lesson - I wonder how many of those 10 strokes per round he said he was losing have "vamooshed"?
His low has been an 81. On the brink of breaking 80.
Very no gimmicky style. Interesting to see you dealing with over the top swing etc. Thank you
So glad you enjoyed it!
