btw minamoto drops a hidden skill, its the one where she spins her blade then sheathes it and a giant aoe happens, you get exactly that. Anyways for the final DLC you should use more than just the switchglaive, it'd be cool to see you use a different weapon for every boss!
@@BeenHoly you should try out fists for atleast one boss, they're super fun, kinda like the switchglaive but a little different. They have less range but do way more damage and stagger, with the tradeoff being that the attacks that deal a ton more dps also have alot of time to do them, meaning you have to really commit. Fists, splitstaff and sword, I wanna see those 3 more than anything else. But at the end of the day, it really is whatever you wanna use and have fun with.
Yorimitsu is the definition of love and hate, she’s damn cool and overpowered like hell, same with the Lightning God. The Hayabusa mission is pain cos that boss is way more aggressive and will shred your blocks in a few hits, same with Shuten Doji that big man is veeery fast. Gonna be hella interested to see how you deal with the final DLC, the first mission’s got my favourite boss in the game
im not sure if somebody already told you, but having the penance stone on will double the damage you receive you might wanna withdraw it from the nearest shrine
I remember this game. I been wanting to play but I have no ps4 controller lmao You're gonna wanna work on treasure synergy for your spirits. I dont remember what my builds were since it was during covid, but I remember having to spend hours going over every weapon and armor drop to make sure I can pull the skills I needed off of them or lock em for later. the dlc is amazing actually. buuuut the difficulty? lemme put it to you like this. I am about 33-50% done with my last playthrough ( highest difficulty base game) but I have only done the dlc on Samurai and about 50-70% on second difficulty. like you need to min max to get things to stop hitting you as heavy and to do enough dmg on bosses
last thing I remember I was building towards was a build with spirit mode since I barely used it for 3 playthroughs straight. I found a way to keep spirit mode up almost indefinitely shortly before dropping the game for some others. I believe it came down to using that amrite stone stockpile you naturally build up, but on higher difficulties its not totally sustainable. its ALMOST sustainable though..... something with spirit usage after crushing a bunch of stones+ ghost yokai form over brute and speed? what the hell was it?
@@BeenHoly no prob. just remember, I made this realiztion after having built up like 2 playthroughs of crystals, and found that after a long while, you will see that about around midgame ,the dropoff in earn rate to usage ratio falls heavily. what I did was I think I assigned the smallest crystal to one item slot, and then had a back slot for a bigger crystal (test them from 0% empty bar to see how much each gives, as its not perfectly proportional and a lot of them will straight up give you a full bar so dont waste, this is also heavily influenced by the spirit you are going to be using as they have differing charge amounts required) once you fall back, its best to use yokai as a fallback for tanking a death frrom bosses, and hopefully break their stance
DLC 2 has the fight against the hayabusa MF's, farm that mission (easiest way is to use an axe and just hyper armor stunlock his ass) because he gives you 2 of the coolest hidden skills and his weapons and armor look gas as hell, Please show us you farming that and getting yo ass whooped. I need a montage of you not getting jack shit
@@BeenHoly no not dieing, beating the boss and seeing he didnt drop it and having to do it again, I farmed that mf for 4 hours just to get the NON NINJUTSU HIDDEN SKILLS, his ninjutsu skills are dope as fuck, but I did not have the patience to farm him even more. I really wanna see a montage of you getting whooped into next year and having the follow up of you beating him, getting all excited and seeing that he didnt drop it.

Sad the series is nearing it's end, but the final dlc is by far the most difficult so I'm excited to see you beat it
