The clones were able to wipe out the Jedi which had served as protectors of the republic for a thousand years. Though if it wasn’t for the Jedi they’d never had defeated the separatists.

The difference is how it happened. In Discanon Rampant did the deed. While in Legends they tried to make their own clones but Tarkin and Boba stopped that.

I think it’s best to say that Dex was right when talking to Obi-wan. All they care about is how big your wallet is to gain their trust. The way you were talking about them made it seem like they knew Palps was evil and that makes sense, but if he didnt have money and was not the Supreme Chancellor or a senator, I dont think they would have meet and something else would have happened. What that something is, I dont know but could be a cool theory to explore
what I'm really wondering about is that the Kaminoans never gave them an order that instantly makes the Clones follow any order given by the Kaminoans. If I were in the business of cloning large armies, that's the first thing I'd do. Because if someone with bad intentions orders a clone army from me, who says they won't just use that army to destroy my clone facilities, so that they could never be used by the enemies of whoever ordered the army made?
I don't consider the clone wars series canon because it isn't consistent. The contingency orders do have some purpose in case the jedi turned on the republic. Hence why the jedi were told they were bred to be more obedient. Why would sifo dyas clone a bounty hunter and not tell the jedi? Seems more likely they just didn't know about the truth but i doubt yoda went to kamino and got blindsided. The clones were simply more docile and obedient when following orders from their leader. Since the clone Wars cartoon basically gave the clones personalities i guess the writers thought they would be too merciful without a chip to tell them to kill people they worked with but they are essentially organic machines... They follow orders quickly much like the military

You even see evidence of this when Tup had the chip malfunction in the 5's arc in Clone Wars. Dooku directly says he doesn't want the Jedi to know about the chips because Sifo had the program to combat "Rogue Jedi". Same situation would likely be without the chips. Sifo Dias set up army. Sith administrated it. The Kaminoans would be none the wiser.

I think Palpatine had that species exterminated as soon as he was done with the clones.
In the bad batch after order 66 all the facilities are destroyed, boba as an adult would have nothing to visit (in canon)

Jango did. Boba was a natural clone of Jango so he was maybe 10 years old at the time Obewan fought him.
