Darkyellow327 my favorite char select theme is Mince from the first Guilty Gear game lol and I think it's a strong competitor for the "best char select" theme.

I almost cry when the chorus hits from the flood of nostalgia lol. My first fighting game ever, remember going to my cousin's and playing, hearing that Dreamcast boot up and loudly read the disc. A time when nothing got in the way of playing games and just having unbridled fun. Ugh I miss those days sometimes. Thanks for the memories.

Man, if you were in New York's Chinatown Fair back in the late 90's, early 2000s, on a Friday/ Saturday night being surrounded by players waiting their turn and you heard the announcer saying "Welcome to the world of Street Fighter 3. Prepare for battle!" It's a feeling you can't begin to describe. Good times.
The atmosphere of SF was peak in the late 90s/early 00s. I miss those days.

Well that's kinda the point, I mean it is MK, but MKX soundtrack did suck, I was surprised because MK9 actually had a great soundtrack, the main menu music was epic.
MK Deceptions soundtrack was the best Netherrealms studios has ever produced. Certain stages actually got you hyped up for a fight. Meanwhile in mk9 and 10 its boring as mood setting type shit. Its honestly a factor in why I got so bored of that game quickly.
I thought that MK2's soundtrack was at their best.

SF3 was the last in a great line. Cinematic animations crafted by hand, a radio worthy soundtrack, talented voice actors that fit the continuation/ growth of the respected characters that made sense, wonderful artwork and controls old school and new could pick right up and play.
It was all to good to last.
