- This video is meant to be an introduction to CCSA and Check Point for 2020.
How do you actually build network and security within onprem and public cloud.
Its no longer enought to build networks purely based on IP we need to use dynamic objects!
We can no longer say no to devops, we need to build the highway for the busniess.
We need to become enabeler for busniess.
This videos are amazing, pick you up from scratch and run you through decent depths of each topic on Checkpoint firewalls management with ease. Coming from a different firewall, I was tasked with managing CPs and was looking to familiarize myself with Checkpoint, but couldn't be happier to find such awesome content for free. Great work, Magnus 👏👌

Yeah, already impressed, options are easy to locate, and intuitive to work through 😊
@@waqar.m one of the few things I don’t like with check point is the logs for VPN, you need to debug and use specific tool to see the same stuff you can see in other vendors normal logs.
The rest is pretty awesome :)

Hehe, normally you found out the hard way, I manage the office network for a service provider before with 500+ Cisco guys. If they want a internet port they fix one. Same with developers, if they need stuff they will fix it. So better to give them the highway and rules for it

Hi, do you mean like how many concurrent connection it’s going thru the firewall?
Or like how many ports are used by hide nat.
If you just referring to what ports are open between things, then you need to check within smartconsole and check the rulebase.

need help to resolve this issue, Every day we need to restart the device to get connectivity back for both inbound and outbound
upgrade to latest GA HFA on the release you are on, if that not fixing the issue then make a TAC case.

@@MagnusHolmberg-NetSec but you can share theoretical knowledge, how we can move from on prem to cloud, because i have don't have idea about cloud, and client asking about cloud service
@@AnkitSharma-lv8zd think about cloud as you would do in any other network.
you still need segmentation, rules and a design for it.
Migration on the other hand here it can be somewhat tricky if you aim to keep everything as it was, and honestly i would advice against that. Just moving everything to the cloud will not make something cheaper.
Sure i will try to make a video regarding cloud, but in general the design princips should remain the same if its cloud or on prem.
