Problem with Laser weapons is that in cloudy sky, their intensity reduces and they are not effective. If enemy drone is in cloud cover, Laser weapon will not work.

Cost of the Iron dome is the precise reason why Israel developed the Iron beam. It is not clear if it was used in the recent Iranian missile attack.
I do not think that Durga is at a deployable stage, yet. Work on the 100 KW weapon has been going on for a while!

I think it need some real time testing of this thing why don't india send this to a war torn region as an aid, it will help push the strength of relationship to the country we will send this to and it will test it practically how well it performs in the battle field and i think it needs the function of firing the laser at different wavelength because the enemy can just paint the missile of reflecting color of the wavelength of laser which will reduce its effect but if you have option of firing the laser at different multiple wavelengths this flaw can be fixed.
Nop that wasn't $100k they reveled when iran attacked em those reports says that the cost of destroying a target is just 3 to $5 only.
