Thanks for the tips. Straight to the points without making the video any longer than needed. Thanks for that last tip, great video!
Great video, straight to the point, now time for me to get on it.
Thanks for the great feedback!! If I can do it anyone can, Good Luck!!
Thank yall so much y’all saved me $2,000 and it only took me and my father a little over an hour to do this. God Bless
Looks like your Dad was helping you. What a nice guy. I've seen him in other videos too. We try to DIY too whenever possible to save money. Great job!👍😀
My dad is a retired auto shop teacher! I talk him in to my DIY antics every now and again!! I like doing DIY videos because other youtubers posting DIYs have helped me so many times. I know my DIY videos are for a select audience, so I never expect everyone to watch them but I appreciate you guys checking it out and commenting!! =)
You and Mr. Martini would get along great. This is so him. I can't wait to meet you guys in person. Thank you so much for giving our channel some love. We appreciate it.
Thank you for stopping by!! Not 100% sure we will be available for a meetup in May but I will continue to monitor fb because we would go if we are free!!
Very Good Video. Good Details. It was very important that you included the year models in the title.
All the steps you did right but i would go further and apply grease ( like Copper Anti Sieze ) to the back of the pads & the Pad clips. Also very important to clean the old grease from the Caliper slide pins & apply fresh grease ( SIL-GLYDE) and that will keep the pins from lamming an keep a firm brake pedal.
Someone was charging me $600 to do this job with this video I was able to do it myself. Thanks
Good video. Only two things I'd recommend:
1. Removing, cleaning and lubing the caliper pins and replace w/new boots
2. Use Akebono brake pads. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent tips, thank you for sharing!! Thanks for the feedback!
Nice video. Thanks for the torque tips. So many people just tighten and forget it. My calipers rooters torque was off a bit. It caused wheel wobble. Almost like the beginning of the death wobble. Torque them to specs and no more wobble.
Again great video.
Nice job. Looked easier than some I have done lol.
It wasn't bad at all, I was REALLY surprised!! I'm about to do the rear brake pads and rotors on my Wrangler, fingers crossed they will go smoothly, stay tuned for that video, LOL!!
did you have the rotors turned b4 installation
What about anti seize on back rotars and brake grease on sliders
Thank you for making this video.
Your welcome, I hope it helped you out!
Aren't you supposed to use brake grease fur the pads sliding points?
Great video, thanks.
where is the chrome grille from? the outer circle
Very good!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video. At what point do you bleed the brakes?
👍
Good stuff, but what about the brake anti friction squeak grease?
Good call we forgot to include video it.
Great job!
Thanks for the positive feedback guys!!
do you use brake lubricant?
Good job, u make it look sooo easy lol.
Well... I had some help, LOL!!
Thank you!
You bet!
It helped!!
Awesome, thanks for the positive feedback!
✌️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Get oem break equipment and lube them guide pins. That's the reason the pads were so uneven. Heavy front end will destroy them cheapo breaks
Launch your boat without guide ropes? Crazy lol
You do realize someone was in the boat driving it right?
@@MileHighCampers LOL I didn't!!
And no brake grease???? What???
man.....your pads were pretty wasted! Thanks for the video.
Yeeeeah they had been screeching for awhile, LOL!! Glad the video was helpful.
my oem pads had 51k miles. what happens is the indicators rust or break off and you dont realize until you get metal on metal. Thanks for the video. My weaver pads werent labeled inner or outer and this video confirmed orientation. I needed a 5 foot breaker bar to break the caliper bolts loose. 2014 f250. Thanks for torque settings, saved me a search.
No good you forgot the grease the stuff up
Bullshit! Great video. It only took me about 3 hours to it. I think I lost some hair trying to get everything to fit back! My wrist is fucked! My back is trashed and I'm going to pay someone to do it next time! But thanks for the video.
Sorry it didn't seem to go well for you... I'm to stingy to take it some where I will suffer through again next time! LOL
@@MileHighCampers I just suck at fixing stuff on my truck. I'm sure I was being an asshole when I said this. I do remember it was pain stakingly hard for me to get it back together. Maybe next time I will be better but I doubt it hahaha Thanks for the video and sorry. It looks like I was hurting and being a dick my brother.
No worries bro, trust me, I totally get it, we all have our good days and rough days, but at the end of the day, keep believing in yourself regardless of the endeavor and remember to chase excellence!! Personal excellence is the key at the end of the day!
i put those exact rotors and pads on my 2017 f250 and were shot in less than a year. Do not use them at all! They are trash!
I totally agree they have since been replaced again!
