You're not alone Kendra. I've also struggled with my gardens this year. Tomatoes came on heavy, but still haven't ripened yet other than a handful of cherry tomatoes. Carrots, and beans have also been difficult. Turnip, garlic, and potatoes have been my only good harvests so far.
@@dana_d_shade982 sorry to hear. I'm glad some of your root crops did well. Not much is doing well but we are using what we can. Our tomatoes never did amount to much. Watch next year will be a drought year lol
That sucks Kendra. It is time for plan B. Time to repurpose the green house and build a high tunnel closer to the house. Some 4'' Big O thought the center of the garden and barrels for catchment will do wonders. Don't get discouraged, I was there 20 years ago. Have a plan and look for used materials in your area.
@@daveknight1154 yes it will be in the works. But there is a lot of prep to get the greenhouse up where I need it to go. I think we will go a little taller and larger in raised beds. Interesting about the big O. I'll look I to that, thanks 😀
