This was helpful! But I’m definitely in need of the follow up video. I’m getting oversized blurry text when I place my ai text into in design! I’ll try your steps here and see if that is the fix! Thanks for making videos I’ll be watching your library for sure.☺️👍🏻
That is something i'll definitely have to cover in a follow-up video. I'll be making a LOT more lettering content starting next year. Just a few weeks away.
This was really helpful. You should set up a Patreon and give members these templates and special content. I’ll be first in line if it’s reasonably priced. Thanks!
I've considered Patreon, but for now, I'll use Gumroad for my premium content. If you purchase the template on there, you'll get any updates that come with that for free.
@@EricWeathers I used to think patreon was just a cash grab but I found a few creators who are worth subbing to. One of the things I like about it is you can easily add new patrons through the app. Just my 2 cents
@@EricWeathers Thanks, I want to learn to become a letter and there are an unfortunately low amount of videos on the craft compared to art and writing, so I really appreciate it!
@@EricWeathers Oh, and quick question, you mentioned below that the page rate for a letterer is roughly $10- 30, so I'd like to ask you the average time it takes you to letter a page.
@@amarikwa888 it depends on the page. Most take 5-10 minutes depending on dialogue. But, there's page prep, edits, sound effects. A lot can influence how long it takes.
Hail Eric, so glad you weren't a dungeoneer.

Please continue this series!
It's on the docket for this year.

Nice Eric!!!!
How much does a letterer get per page?
Great question.
Like most jobs, it varies on experience. It ranges from $10-$30/page. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower, but that's the range.
@@EricWeathers Thanks.
