Fascinating explore, really interesting seeing what supplies and food they had down there. I loved the price label on one of the bottles. . . . . 87&1/2 pence🙂
Thanks for looking & extra info, I was frustrated looking for date clues during my explore, although I have since discovered it was an 80's build, That halfpenny 1971-84 confirms it...Cheers! :)
Great video and explore - Some of the price labels had half a penny on them which was phased out in 1984, so I would date the bunker to the early 1980's. From a practical view point - after a few days - once the diesel had run out and the chemical toilet was full, you wouldn't want to stay down there and you would be stuck between a rock and a hard place. So all those hanging belts would come in handy.
Cool, thanks! yes I have since found out it was an 80's build....other explorers photo's show ammo boxes....but I agree....needs to be bigger or less bunks! Thanks!
Great video as always! It's such a huge property to be going to waste, shame there isn't a way inside the house, would love to see more. Still, amazing work, keep it up.
House has been broken into a few times as you can see, Its alarmed & site is being watched....place has gone downhill fast in just a few months.. also a bit sad to have missed the original artwork! Thanks!
Thanks!....I always avoid exploring weekends if I can, just to busy! didn't take long & they broke into the house:( Nice murals painted over....gutted.
I read somewhere that David Woods wife left it in her will to be re-developed for the care sector & planning was refused on the first few proposals. other than that not a lot to go on, the son & daughter are still alive. Wevsky's write up & report in case you missed it? www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/owlsnest-wood-bunker-pembury-may-2020.123470/
What a strange place. A great explore and that pool afterwards was the icing on the cake. Definitely 80s food. Remember mum giving me Kaolin and Morphine medicine for an upset tummy as a kid in the 80s.. I guess it’s banned now!
@@AbandonedUK Yes thanks Steve. Yes, we are all doing ok thankyou. Hope you are too. Will hopefully get back out exploring next year when the world is not so weird. 😂
I managed to see it via the first few visitors, including yours, always enjoyed your images & write-ups. I've also retired from exploring due to personal circumstances. Thanks for your comments, tc.
Was this an M. O. D establishment or maybe meant for V. I. Ps? They would have ended up ill from all that medication and it looks like someone was cooking and left suddenly! Amazing explore , thank you.

also on the electronics

Glad you enjoyed it rolf, thank you & keep safe!

how do you find places like this?
Google maps & a little research!
8:22 Probably best not to touch. But I was amused at the thought of sending one of those Plumrose Pork Luncheon Meat cans to Stuart Ashen.
Served with a pint, it would probably count as a substantial meal in tier two areas.
Amazing video. I would love to hear the full story of this place.
Thanks! & Maybe one day....it's out there?
Nice one gutted to see the trash bus has been there

Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for viewing & the info.
Good grief ! Now that´s something you don´t get to see everyday ;-) Nice ! 👍
Thanks for looking!
Nice find! I think this bunker had a major flaw: Air supply. I could not see any of the things those bunkers usually have, like ducts and filters.
Thanks! also 18 bunks.....no social distancing? ;)
the air system was on the left. the fawn coloured cabinet etc...
The green jeep is a Daewoo korando great explore guys
Thanks!
Amazing place Steve nice one.👍

Nope, it was a private civilian fallout shelter...circa 1980s, Thanks for looking!
That was cool nice find, But such a waste, Could be done up and would make a lovely grow room 🤣😂
Thanks!
Neat explore!
Thanks....Yes it was! :)
So some one made. The plant room of the pool into a bunker 😂
I hope it gets preserved.
All buildings are going to get demolished 99% It's was up for redevelopment.
What a shame. We all have nice things and they end in rot.
Enjoy your time, before the rot sets in:)
