I actually saw this watch being advertised on Social Media yesterday, and was thinking that I'd like to see a TH-camr do a review on it... THANKS for delivering 👌🏽
Thanks. The aquamarine dream is quite cool. I got to compare that and this model in person and ended up going with this one. Can’t go wrong with any of the Seawolves!
Yeah, looks even better in then video even than the pics. I do love their color schemes; and this one is one of the ones that appeals to me the most. that "fresh grass" green looks so good and honestly it's all about that contrast with so much white. that's quite a thing with the crown eh? but looking on the bright side, it's maybe not as bad as that ridiculous quirk the Oris 400 has. Great review. I think one of these days i'll get a Zodiac.
Ya I think if they hadn’t used as much white it would look as good as it does. It’s a pretty fun one. Ya that Oris 400, although I haven’t handled one in person, is a little quirky. If you get a zodiac I’ll definitely be interested to see what color you go for.
I'm wearing my ZO9210 on a white Archer silicone strap today! Zodiac has an amazing dive watch history. People always talk about the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and Rolex Submariner as the first dedicated dive watches. Zodiac and Blancpain were the first in 1953, with the Rolex not hitting the market until 1954. Thankfully I haven't had any issues with the movement in mine. Running slightly better than +/- 2 seconds per day. Thanks again for an honest and interesting review!
I didn’t know you had that model! Nice to see it on the archer 😉 haha. Zodiac definitely get overlooked. Glad to hear your model doesn’t have the little movement quirk mine does
@@theknightswatch you definitely influenced me to buy the Archer! Not to mention four bespoke straps and counting from Andrew at King Leathercraft! Haha I actually bought the Zodiac "rivet" style bracelet, but it can't be sized quite small enough for my wrist. I picked up a mint green Italian leather strap from Watchgecko that is perfect, but I like to be able to get my divers wet, so the Archer it is these days! Oh, and it looks like summer on a soft pink perlon strap I have as well. Enjoy your Zodiac, I mean Zodiacs!
@@theknightswatch since the Zodiac rivet bracelet was a bust for my wrist size I have been considering a beads of rice bracelet. I just realized in the video you have one on your first Zodiac! Is that a Baltic? I also noticed the end links seem to fit pretty well. Any info would be so appreciated!!
@@matthewdavis8199 yep it’s the baltic beads of rice. As long as you aren’t constantly pulling on the endlinks to see if there’s a gap 99.9% of the time it looks pretty perfectly integrated. I’d recommend getting it if you like the look.
I enjoy the look of this watch a lot honestly. I enjoy the name of it as well Seawolf lol. This was a pretty awesome review as someone who doesn’t really look into watches I don’t get bored watching. Plus it kinda gets me into the idea of wearing watches that are not Digital. Great work!
as owner I can only tell you that I am very satisfied I consider it very original and comfortable. I will have been lucky but mine does not show any defect in fact I am very satisfied with the stp3.13 caliber a beautiful sight and with gooseneck adjustment, travel at + -1sec per day. a very nice watch and with a great charm. I think I'll get another one too soon 😅.
I have the orange version & it’s a nice timepiece. My only complaint is the crown is very hard to get a good grip on, which makes for a headache on screw-down effort.
You review excellently.. I think you either love or hate these pieces . If you are the type of guy who measures watches purely by specs in a rather calculated manner it probably is not for you as there are better watches out there at the price . If you love character, colour , comfort , originality , history and a watch that makes you smile then it’s fantastic. I own three and absolutely love them and will no doubt add more . They grab 90 percent of my wrist time .My higher end sober pieces are confined to a vault and can’t say I miss them .
Thank you! And I completely agree this is a very fun watch for a great price. Not for everyone but if you do like it it’s lovely! Thank you for watching
I put my email down for notification when the dark blue dial/bezel comes back into stock, looks sooo good. Just read in another video that you sold your Pely, sad me :-( I've been thinking of letting mine go, but every time I pick it up, look at it and wear it, I just think it's too damn cool and I'll regret selling it. We'll see though, frustrating hobby sometimes this, just so much choice out there :-)
Ya hopefully you get that one. Great watch! I did sell my blue Pelagos quite a long time ago but I recently just Bought a black one again such a good watch!

Haha glad I had perfect timing
Nice review. I love Zodiac. I've been looking for the past few weeks for a Seawolf. I'm in love with the Aquamarine Dream.

@@matthewdavis8199 ya Andrew makes some great stuff I think I’m at 5 or 6 straps now haha. I’ll enjoy both of mine and you enjoy yours as well!

Great, detailed review! Any chance I can ask who makes the beads of rice bracelet for the Sea Wolf?
Thank you and sorry for the late reply, the beads of rice bracelet is made by baltic
@@theknightswatch Thanks! 🍻

Now I want to try a Zodiac….the blue one looks beautiful!
Love it! Great video! I think I might need to get a Zodiac at some point!
Thanks zodiac make some killer stuff!

@@theknightswatch Sweet!!
I actually just snagged the black/two-tone version of this!
Awesome hope you enjoy it
Indeed an attractive quirky watch, but I would expect better QC for this price.
Agreed a little disappointing but it happens
Zodiac is a very nice brand and I picked up a "Watermelon" last year.
Today or tomorrow my "Neon" arrives and I am looking forward to this watch.
with "saphire bezel" you probably mean the saphire crystal?. Bezels usually come in alu or cera......
Maybe I misspoke the bezel is mineral crystal
'Flexion' - describes a bending movement that decreases the angle between a segment and its proximal segment.
Better just say it's a sprung clasp.
I’ll probably never use sprung clasp but good to know
Over-Priced garbage from Fossil. I'd rather have a Vostok.
