Weird seeing "cars back then" is what was new when I was growing up! My "cars back then" is wipers on a knob on the left hand of the dash, dimmer switch on the floor, hvac controls were slide levers, and the trunk took the key or a lever on the inside to open.
How about we go back to rubbing sticks together to make fires also… what yall fail to mention was the all those same actions can be controlled by using your voice also 😂
As others have said it (and I agree wholeheartedly), car design peaked in the 90s.

I like physical control elements in cars so much. Sensor multimedia? Ok. Sensor climate? No way! LCD for media? Fine. LCD for speed? No!

The switch from manual to electric trunk latch has been the biggest downfall for cars manufacture
