I just wanna say that this man down here is so good at his job he can make SG's Pizza Hut pizza look delicious!
Have to agree with the other comments though, this Singapore series has been amazing. I legit think that Mike should move here and spend all of his days just scouting out every hawker centre. It might actually take him quite a long time! And if he gets sick of the food or runs out of content ideas... Malaysia is less than an hour's drive away and that's a great place to explore as well!

I've done this twice. I'm not rich, I just had lucky circumstances. Some of the best comfort I had in my life. One of them I was in the air at midnight 2000, when we all thought the Y2K bug would make us crash. Turns out we were all fine!

I was born right before Y2K and my mom always tells me how stressed and panicked she was before I was born. They thought hospital equipment wouldn’t work 😅

I’m just a normal peasant but once many years ago I was on the same flight. I was sitting in the last row of the plane. After an hour or so of the flight my blood vessels start popping from air pressure. Flight attendants put me on oxygen and moved me to first class saying the air is better up there. I was 20 and flying for the first time. Think the first class upgrade cured me 😂. The whole staff were super cool and I tried not to be an ingrate but they insisted I have steak and champagne 😊
Umm you do realize when you fly you are inside a large metal balloon pressurized to approx 8.2 psid. The air is constantly released out of a valve in the fuselage and fresh air is brought in from outside via the engine during the entire flight.

Air is the same in all parts of the cabin. And this flight from SIN to EWR/JFK doesn't even have an economy class. Its either premium economy or business
@@lotusupra I took this flight after the Tsunami in Indonesia in maybe 2010 when this was a new route. Back then they had first class on the flight. I wasn’t trying to take advantage. I was 17 and first time flying so I was a noob. The only thing I could think about when they moved me to 1st class was the Seinfeld episode where Jerry got upgraded and Elaine had the flight from h*ll.

My longest flight was from Atlanta, GA to Auckland, NZ for a total of 16 & 1/2 hours. Coming home we had to do a layover at LAX. I kept getting a little bit of anxiety everytime the plane ran into some turbulence. 😯 Business Class , Singapore, looks well worth it. Yummy airline food! Welcome home and back to pricey food items again. ☺️💖
Hi Mike. Love the content. Can you list the lounges you visit moving forward? It's nice to know which lounge you eat at whether that may be the business class lounge vs priority pass.

Having motion sickness is painful for long flights, like from vancouver to beijing 50% of the time I was in the bathroom, but the food for westjet is actually fine.

They definitely knew who you were to get all the extra portions. XD I've never gotten extras in business class before, but ive seen other youtubers who were well known get extras too because the airports do look into this stuff.

I think it’s longer going from New York maybe and sometimes depending on what the winds are doing sometimes they take the pacific route or the Atlantic route instead of the polar route

For those visiting Malaysia, try the Gardenia Sambal Ikan Bilis Bun...spicy, savory, and absolutely delicious! For something sweet, try Gardenia Red Bean Bun and the toffee bun - Yummy!
Gardenia’s ikan bilis bun is the best version of it. The other brands don’t come close. They sadly don’t sell them here in Singapore for some reason 😅.

Great video! That is one long flight. The longest flight i have been on was 15 hrs. I can't sleep on planes, so i watched Dream Girls three times and walked a lot. Ha Ha. Singapore Airlines does have some great food. Can,t wait to fly with them again.

hey mike! i'm not exactly sure when they started this, but it seems like Singapore Airlines gives out the amenity kit ONLY IF you ask for it 😅 this applies for both business class and premium economy(i last flew SIA in june/july 2022), but the quality and quantity of items in the amenity kit should still be the same!! :D

Regarding the pizza hut pricing, they have a constant "promotion" of 50 percent off when you order 2 pizzas. So it's never a good idea to buy a single pizza over here😂

I hate having to go through secuirty at the gate in Singapore - and there are no toilets in there once you are locked in, so if your flight gets delayed after you get in there, be aware! Last month I was in a queue for 45 min trying to get into the gate. I have started to book my flights though other airports now.
They will let you go out and back in as long as you have your pass but you will need another security check

I hate flying. I had to endure Seoul to Chicago which i think is about 19 to 20 hours but the food on Korean Air Lines sustained me. If I had to fly to Singapore, the food would be the only thing keeping from me going psychotic! Great video! Very tasty selections!!
