It was a great exhibition. I got to talk briefly with Nicky about John. As a younger man he used to box at Chichester Boys Club, where my Dad used to go (although they never met). She’s a very nice lady.

When Nicky weller brought this to Liverpool , it was so important because at the time of the jam they were huge inliverpool not just for the fantastic music they made but a lot of it have hope and aspiration along with football to see there was a way out of the hopelessness of a government and a country that did not care for the people that mattered, well done Nicky weller and well done the jam , still huge in Liverpool , thankyou for being real 👍scousers salute you

Tthe Jam were a sublime band i saw them three times as a youth and The Modfather solo and also with Noel Gallagher duets,with Steve Craddock and drummer Steve White
I was there on the last day and Nicky loved my Pretty Green tee-shirt, So I asked her did she come up with the Jam name and she gave the same answer as in this clip…
Everything. Lived there for 30 years and all the council want to do is build offices and now, flats. Can't think of anywhere that hasn't been knocked down and rebuilt more. A real carbuncle. The only great thing about Woking is - one stop to Waterloo on the train!

I went to the exhibition at the bank holiday weekend. Brilliant. A must for any fan of the jam. I and my daughter met nicky, lovely humble person. 👌
