I would like to add although the salary is $12 or $15, the hours you get for basic jobs here are usually *20 hours* per week. So yes, you can make $1,800 IF you work 40 hours a week, but you will need TWO jobs for that, or a spouse/roommate. Most jobs: $12*20=$240 $240*4 weeks (1 month) =$960 Or $15*20=$300 $300*weeks (1 month) =$1200 Most rent in sk is $800, minimum. That does not include food, clothing, transport, hobbies, etc. To live comfortably you at least need to be making $1,800/month. And with covid happening there are not as many good hourly jobs as there use to be. I know MANY new people who work 2 jobs to make ends meet/to live. To live comfortably/decent you need to make $24,000/year. The math I wrote above will make you $12,000/year. The reality is, unless you go to school here like this couple in the video then it will be hard to get a job with a degree from another country. Most jobs will be what I wrote above. $12,000-$16,000/year.^^^
I don't know about Saskatoon but in Regina it's not easy to get a administrative job right away and most important thing there are less companies in saskatchewan. If you immigrate please remember its very cold. -40 is most comment temperature in winter.
🤗 Thank you for making this video... Gulati family is very open to talk about all the things related to Saskatchewan... It was amazing to hear that they have been there for over a decade... I am actually surprised to see the difference in cost of living between Ontario and Saskatchewan. ❤️ Kudos.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Cheers 😊
Hi Navjot and Simran! Thank you for creating great content and helping all prospective migrants in their journey. Can you please create a video (if that topic deserves a video) on how to declare / fill-out the the forms for declaring money that you're bringing into Canada? Do we just need to show proof-of-funds or all the money from all different sources? Does it include if you have a property/commodity/retirement-savings that you're planning on bringing in the country later and not with you when you're landing in for the first time. Thanks again.
I am also living in Regina. I have 7 years gulf experience in administration but I could not get job . Everybody said I Will have to get some courses related administration then maybe...seeee maybe I could get job. My husband mechanical engineer. He also same problem.
Saskatchewan people are more genuine and humble than Torontonians. I have lived in Saskatchewan for 2 years and when I moved to Toronto, I could feel the difference.
When Mr Gulati was taking about the cost of living I was thinking now Sardar jis calculator is working full speed on cost of living and cost of houses. True enough the smile on ur face and what u said. So when are u guys moving to Saskatchewan? 😂😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔 Go after success and money will follow.
Saskatchewan is also home to some of the nastiest, coldest winters on record! Snow generally falls end of October & stays until mid May, a nice winter day -20C a cold day -45C
Thanks as ever Navjot for such an informative video esp. for people looking at SINP as an option, like me 😃 This video has really busted few myths as well about Saskatchewan. Also, loved your opinion of "dont always look at how much you can earn but how much you can save".....so true. May God bless you both and the Gulati family in abundance 🙂🙂🙂
Navjot paji seems little off ..idk but it looks ...but anyway it was good series that you have kick off..I think in few months ,we will know canada as much as you know..thanks

Hi, M Goldi living in Regina..plz guide me how to get book keeping certification on a low cost and from where. Its been a year here in canada m just only on a survival job which is very very tough.
Bhai I have secured 85% in my Bachelor's, Master's and my B.ed. Would like to get admission in a public university. I have completed my last education in 2014 end. I also have work experience of 7 years. Is it possible to get admission?
Thanks, Navjot for bringing insights about SK, I am moving to New Brunswick. It would be great if you have some kind of discussion with someone from New Brunswick. Thanks in advance :).
1. Could you elaborate on Settlement Plan? Who helps with this? What's the fee charged? 2. PNP programs need people to have a job offer and employers look for people having work permit or ready to join immediately or are already living in Canada. It sounds contradictory. Could you throw some light on these? Look forward to hear from you. Thanks
Amazing video. Love you guys! Love all your videos 🤠 I'm also trying to immigrate, alot of things under process. Learning from you a lot. Stay safe. take care.

Hi Navjyot... loved that point u made ... always look at cost of expense vs earnings and how much u end up saving is what matters. So true.
