Such a gem Sanket... It's the harsh reality of lgbtq people in India, especially if you want to get into a front public facing job such as a teacher... I can't even begin to comprehend how that person must be feeling... Unable to get into a career of choice, or compelled to exhaust all of his energy into changing his personality.

It’s actually unfair to completely avoid an individual’s ability for something as basic as their identity. I’m not a supporter or don’t think that this idea is natural but definitely don’t hate individuals who are different identity wise and I don’t think those individuals would really bother any professional field
I'd been scrolling through a lot of your videos but this one just instantly won my heart. I was expecting to see something queerphobic because that's what I've come to expect from most Indian creators. But this was such a pleasant surprise that I absolutely HAD to subscribe. And what makes it even better is that it's Pride Month right now. Happy Pride and keep up the good work! Sending my best wishes and lots of love.
Hey Sanket...the first time I stumbled upon your video was when I was teaching my son electric circuits....so, it wasn't your funny videos that impressed me but the academic one. I'm really upset about the fact you've mentioned. It should NEVER be a reason for not hiring someone. I'm a teacher myself. I look forward to all your academic related videos as well as the lighter jovial ones. Just give people time to mature is all I can say. Stay blessed.
I think people are scared that indoctrination can happen and kids especially teenagers can get impacted immensely. For example in US like countries so many teens opt for sex change operation and later realise that they never needed one but by then it gets too late to undo anything. I will not blame any community for this but the medical industry which wants to encash on someone’s insecurities. As a parent I can only request people especially teachers to keep their gender/sexual preferences, out of the classroom. If kids are forced to wear uniform, why can’t teachers maintain uniformity too?
Do you even know what are you speaking? There is literally no indoctrination. And do not compare US with India. India is still having a long way to even accept homosexuality mainstream
where are you getting the data that "so many teens opt for sex change operation and later realize that they never needed one" ? because the percentage of ppl who regret medical transitioning is less than 1%(AP news). while 13.1% may detransition, it is not the same thing as regretting transitioning. also while i agree with the point that in a lot of contexts gender and sexuality *should* be kept out of classrooms, as a gay teenager, i found it very helpful when i got to know that my favorite teacher(who i used to vent to) was supportive of the community. they don't need to be screaming it from the rooftops or having pride flags in classrooms, but the silent support is very helpful when we know that there are other teachers glaring us down and judging us for having a pride pin on our bag during pride month .If uniformity is the goal, then perhaps teachers should refrain from discussing their personal lives entirely, rather than allowing some to share while restricting others based on their sexual orientation. It shouldn't be that straight teachers can talk about their family and children but, say a female teacher cant even refer to her wife, you get what i mean? ( sorry for the long response)
In another video he made a teacher talk about her frustration of him not being hired . It was the female teacher who said how Mishra sir's opinion of not taking him in was preferred because he is senior .
Even if they get selected by the school, it's the students whose approach towards the teacher that matters .. if students bully or mock the teacher, how will the teacher be able to teach.
