Craig does media samples (like "Here comes the pain" in Sic and "I don't have time for this" in Eeyore. He also does a little bit of synth and keyboard like in Til We Die, Vermillion Part 2 Bloodstone Mix, Duality, Vermillion, and No Life, and he sometimes puts affects on the vocals. Sid basically does all the turntables like in Purity, Sic, Surfacing, New Abortion, Sulfur, etc. I think Sid and Craig, especially Sid, are too underated
Older turntables had a 3rd setting @ 78 rpm, it was heavily used back between late 1800s til the 1950s but its been absent from most players since the 60's or 70's. Total respect for Sid!
Craig and Sid work together, they organize what the pitch of the bass and guitar are and they also adjust the vocal effects (like echo and so forth) so you cant say all the electronic effects comes from Sid, because it does not. and to all you people that think Sid and Craig don't do anything, then you are wrong. without both of them, slipknot would have no echo in the vocals, none of the cool distorted voices (like the vocals in liberate "your garbage in is garbage out" etc.) [page 1]
and their "heavy drops" would not be as heavy, because Mic and Jim's guitars can only go so low, so they need Craig and Sid to take the lowest sound out of their guitars and make it even lower. [page 2]

Ummm, if you don't hear the turntables and Sid past the first record, I would recommend cleaning out your ears and giving it another listen.
