Are these my favs? no. Are they the best? No. Everyone knows that is Galloway and Godolphin. But they're the more surefire and safest IMO.
Galloway is the worst one. Not because it doesn’t smell nice but because it’s nothing special. It’s like a clone of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme imo.

I bought my first Parfums De Marly bottle "Layton," and I love it! With all that's going on with our lockdowns, I'm unable to allow others to smell this fragrance on me, but I spray a little on my wrist and it's awesome!
Layton is a very pleasant scent, but Its definitely on the sweet side with a bit too much vanilla for me. Its really good if you like vanilla/floral type of fragrances.
I own Layton, Herod, Percival, Sedley, Pegasus, Carlisle and Oajan. They are all really good scents in their respective seasons. i used to own Godolphin but all I could smell was pure leather so I gave it to my dad for fathers day
Whilst I really like a lot of PDM's fragrances, in terms of absolute bang-for-buck Mancera is just leagues ahead for me. Red Tobacco, Aoud Lemon Mint, and Black Gold are just incredible
I just ordered decanter of percival to try before I commit to $300 for a bottle. I’ve got almost 30 different decanters from your videos lol. I’m gonna pick 5 I love and buy bottles of those. Decanters are not worth the money as I’ve spent $400. There are a lot I hate that I got from other videos I’ve watched that I wanted to try and would never wear again. So it’s worth it. I love most of the parfums de marly fragrances. It's your channel that introduced me to this wonderful house. I'm seriously considering selling most of my other fragrances and buying only parfums de marly. I have never had such a connection to a parfum as I do with this house.
I've been waiting for a video like this on PdM for sooo long because PdM is my favorite brand to buy from. So glad you did it with that sexy accent and so glad you added Godolphin because it's a true sleeper.

I'll write my recommendations and see if they align. I'm into niche but I still value Percival for the versatility, the woody dry down and the lasting power. Plus my partner loves citrus. Layton is good in the morning and the evenings but I wouldn't recommend it in the middle of the day. Definitely also ok in the cooler months but not the best in Winter IMHO. Herod is so good at night and especially cooler days and nights, definitely for Autumn and Winter. So good on guys and girls by yourself or out or a chill date night, Netflix and chill. I've even worn it to work on a few occasions. Too expensive for work. Carlisle I use only on special occasions and date nights, my partner loves it on me. Way too expensive for work and kind of doesn't suit the every day scent. I've tried it during cool days, works well but just seems like too much in hot weather. Sedley I wish this lasted longer on me, I'm pretty sure it's my skin or hair or something because it lasts longer on others. It can work on any summer or spring day scent but will only last like half a day the total longevity is better than most designers but not as long as others. The spearmint is excellent in the opening and mid notes. So is the woody incense base just wish it lasted longer, it's about the longevity of Creed fragrances on me. Habdan is a great date night scent, reminds me of a cold Christmas and sweet alcoholic drinks. It's not as versatile as Herod and not as special as Carlisle but Carlisle may be a bit much for some in terms of complexity in which case Habdan would also be a good stand in. I really want Kalan but don't have the money for it at the moment it sounds like something my partner would want for me or herself 🤣.

Layton as a summer perfume? I only wear it in the winter time and got tons of compliments, like Jeremy Fragrance recommended it to me. It‘s my best complimented fragrance right now.
Just bought TF Black Orchid. Been wanting it for awhile, for a splurge buy. STRICTLY ATTITUDE when dressed up and feeling on top of my game. Got some decants to try. one was Creed Silver Mountain Water. A decant to replace another decant. This is on my to get list. Layton, because of all the hype. So far doesn't do anything for me. Lets say this brand has become in my favorite brand even over Tom Ford after try Layton, Herod, Godolphin, Kalan, Layton Exclusif, Galloway, Percival and Pegasus. My top are Layton Esclusif, Kalan, and Godolphin. This last is a especial scent that makes me feel over everything when I wear it. Being an intense fragrance it feels clean becoming itself wearable even in the summer which is very strange thing, nothing usual. Wearing Godolphin you now you are sexy as hell but also be a good boy, almost neat. I hope to try some others from the brand soon.
I just bought a bottle of Herod after buying decants. My wife loves it! Some complain about performance, I wear this and can smell it in the room I work in the next morning.
I purchased a niche fragrance for the first time now. Always thought the first niche I'd buy would be Creed Aventus but Layton won the race this time. I'm excited to smell it.

Oajan and Herod are by far my favorites. Definitely prefer Layton Exclusif to regular Layton. Purchased Galloway, however, not that big a fan as I am the rest.
Great Picks! Herod, Pegasus, Carlyle and Layton are all my favorites from the House. I'd recommend buying several samples from the house to see what your favorites are without completely breaking the bank on full bottles :) If you are in the USA.. checkout Split Scent or Lucky Scent.
A rather late update, thx to Johann's note below. I subsequently got Carlisle. My rankings 1) Smell : Layton - Carlisle - Pegasus 2) Lasting : Carlisle - Pegasus - Layton. And boy, Carlisle was head to head with Dior Homme Parfum on longevity
word trash and garbage with aussie accent is breath of fresh air.anyway this is the channel that persuade me to get percival for good. now my go to coz i need to get a tester of habdan and harod before decide to get at least 75ml since habdan notes are similar to zadig and voltaire tsh and harod's notes to spicebomb extreme, might need to compare these designer brands that i loved and if pdm is worthy upgrade to next level.
Respectfully, many of these offerings have a "beautifully synthetic" quality to them. Some more synthetically prominent than others. I am reminded of top shelf cologne at the pharmacy fragrance counter.
They dont care, the regular commenters here are the same guys who sit in bars and talk to the female bartender every single time, then tip them a bit excessively. Demi is their bartender.
I absolutely agree, I own almost all of their line and I have my top three as Carlisle No. 1 Herod No. 2 and Layton as No. 3. I must admit i'm waiting on my Layton Exclusif to try.
Love Carlisle, Herod and Godolphin, haven't tried Layton, I will, but one that is underrated and the drydown is INCREDIBLE is Akaster, Elegant, Classy, beautiful rose and oud!!! For me Herod and Akaster are my favorites. Thanks for the review!

I have yet to pick up any bottles of PDM colognes but i have tried a lot of their testers and my top 6 are Herod, Layton, Pegasus, Kalan, Percival and Oajan. Legit addicted to all of those. Such a great fragrance house. Can't wait to try carlisle. I think that's the only one I haven't gotten to smell. Also, Did Demi just make and audible bite when talking about Layton Exclusif? Maybe i should get that one first lol.
I have Carlisle, Layton Exclusive, and Nisean. Carlisle smells amazing, but it does not perform as well on me as others. Nisean is my favorite, but I will try Herod next. I bought my girlfriend the santal one for women, and it doesn’t perform well on her. I wish I would have gotten her Dalina. Inito’s sandalwood Rehab performed better on her than the santal one.
I found a reasonably priced set of 0.37 ML bottles with atomizers of six of the fragrances: Percival, Herod, Layton, Pegasus, Galloway and Carlisle. I recommend this route if the prices are putting you off blind buying and you don’t have time to go to the store. Herod and Carlisle are at the top for my taste. Layton and Galloway are 3rd and 4th respectively for me with Galloway being the warm climate pick. I tend to prefer fresh in the summer and spicy/woody in colder weather but always with a touch of sweetness in the background. All project well and will last until you take your daily shower.

Just bought my first pdm and it was Kalan and wow!! Sweet and spicy!! I love it!! Defo getting more pdm. My first niche fragrance was creed and I’ve been buying different ones from them and some are very nice but quite a few are weird smelling. I’m hoping pdm are a lot nicer and going off Kalan I think they will be. 👍🏼

So I'm curious...Carlisle or Herod? I'm torn between those two for this Fall/Winter. I've tried Herod and really loved the scent but didn't feel like it lasted on my skin. So I was planning on picking up Carlisle. HOWEVER...I noticed that you didn't have the same reaction after sniffing Carlisle as you did with Herod. you need to be parfum de marly's ambassador, demi.. you make me want to buy every marly perfume like right now.
Lets say this brand has become in my favorite brand even over Tom Ford after try Layton, Herod, Godolphin, Kalan, Layton Exclusif, Galloway, Percival and Pegasus.
My top are Layton Esclusif, Kalan, and Godolphin. This last is a especial scent that makes me feel over everything when I wear it. Being an intense fragrance it feels clean becoming itself wearable even in the summer which is very strange thing, nothing usual. Wearing Godolphin you now you are sexy as hell but also be a good boy, almost neat.
I hope to try some others from the brand soon.

I just bought a bottle of Herod after buying decants. My wife loves it! Some complain about performance, I wear this and can smell it in the room I work in the next morning.

Oajan and Herod are by far my favorites. Definitely prefer Layton Exclusif to regular Layton. Purchased Galloway, however, not that big a fan as I am the rest.

Great Picks! Herod, Pegasus, Carlyle and Layton are all my favorites from the House. I'd recommend buying several samples from the house to see what your favorites are without completely breaking the bank on full bottles :) If you are in the USA.. checkout Split Scent or Lucky Scent.

A rather late update, thx to Johann's note below. I subsequently got Carlisle. My rankings 1) Smell : Layton - Carlisle - Pegasus 2) Lasting : Carlisle - Pegasus - Layton. And boy, Carlisle was head to head with Dior Homme Parfum on longevity

word trash and garbage with aussie accent is breath of fresh air.anyway this is the channel that persuade me to get percival for good. now my go to coz i need to get a tester of habdan and harod before decide to get at least 75ml since habdan notes are similar to zadig and voltaire tsh and harod's notes to spicebomb extreme, might need to compare these designer brands that i loved and if pdm is worthy upgrade to next level.

Love Carlisle, Herod and Godolphin, haven't tried Layton, I will, but one that is underrated and the drydown is INCREDIBLE is Akaster, Elegant, Classy, beautiful rose and oud!!! For me Herod and Akaster are my favorites. Thanks for the review!

I have yet to pick up any bottles of PDM colognes but i have tried a lot of their testers and my top 6 are Herod, Layton, Pegasus, Kalan, Percival and Oajan. Legit addicted to all of those. Such a great fragrance house. Can't wait to try carlisle. I think that's the only one I haven't gotten to smell. Also, Did Demi just make and audible bite when talking about Layton Exclusif? Maybe i should get that one first lol.

I have Carlisle, Layton Exclusive, and Nisean. Carlisle smells amazing, but it does not perform as well on me as others. Nisean is my favorite, but I will try Herod next.
I bought my girlfriend the santal one for women, and it doesn’t perform well on her. I wish I would have gotten her Dalina. Inito’s sandalwood Rehab performed better on her than the santal one.

I found a reasonably priced set of 0.37 ML bottles with atomizers of six of the fragrances: Percival, Herod, Layton, Pegasus, Galloway and Carlisle. I recommend this route if the prices are putting you off blind buying and you don’t have time to go to the store.
Herod and Carlisle are at the top for my taste. Layton and Galloway are 3rd and 4th respectively for me with Galloway being the warm climate pick. I tend to prefer fresh in the summer and spicy/woody in colder weather but always with a touch of sweetness in the background.
All project well and will last until you take your daily shower.

Just bought my first pdm and it was Kalan and wow!! Sweet and spicy!! I love it!! Defo getting more pdm. My first niche fragrance was creed and I’ve been buying different ones from them and some are very nice but quite a few are weird smelling. I’m hoping pdm are a lot nicer and going off Kalan I think they will be. 👍🏼

So I'm curious...Carlisle or Herod? I'm torn between those two for this Fall/Winter. I've tried Herod and really loved the scent but didn't feel like it lasted on my skin. So I was planning on picking up Carlisle. HOWEVER...I noticed that you didn't have the same reaction after sniffing Carlisle as you did with Herod. I want to enjoy the scent I'm wearing but it's a bonus if others that smell it enjoy it as well. So does Carlisle not have that same sexy vibe as Herod? Another great vid Demi...keep 'em coming.
