Great video! Hope you had a fun time out on that evening. I will admit, there is something a bit peaceful about shooting trains in the dead of night. TBH, over here I think downtown Athens has to be one of my favorite spots for night-time railfanning, along with Cleveland Avenue in downtown Huntsville. Love the shot with the wayside signal upgrading as well! Like how you can hear a nice hearty click to its relay.
Night-time filming is always great, especially so if it's a well-lit location. I specifically loved hearing the trains from far away before the crossing activated too.
Great video! I was just wondering, when you film so many closures like this, what do you do when you have problems with storage as i really need more, but my phone has nowhere to put in an SD card
I always make sure my storage is quite clear before a big trip's worth of filming. Both my camcorder and phone have plenty of storage, but if I do get low, I have a little USB memory stick I can plug into my phone and store videos on. I bought it in Pontefract back in January when running low on storage.
Nice one Caleb! Glad we were able to film at this pleasant crossing at night. For being in this state for 5 years, the barriers are quite bad for their age
Nice crossing. Lovely station house, fab view down the tracks with train approaching. Like a nightime video. Love axfreight train Great catches. ❤😊👍
Love what you do 👍

Excellent Night Videos and Shots! 👍🏻👍🏻
Hope you enjoyed your time at Westerfield with the other filmers!
Not fun when you're on the crossing and the signaller decides to Brayford it 🫥

Indeed they are. Kinda taken aback by how hard that one by the houses was striking the floor.
