She’s so good! And she really executes the confidence of a good cop too. She’s relatively young and she’s a tiny person but with her voice and her presence she oozes confidence and authority

I havent read the books but I'm guessing each story is a stand alone which means each season will be too and that probably means we won't see anymore of Roscoe which is a damn shame.
Yeah there is an underlining story about his character throughout the books, however the general nack is that he is a traveller and doesn't stay in one place for too long. It's a great storytelling tool because Childs can essentially start again and has complete creative freedom at the start of each book. Worth the read, they're good fun.

I loved Roscoe in the book when I first read it and Willa's performance only made me fall in love more
I actually think they did a good job of showing how female officers can (and I'm generalizing, I know) defuse certain situations without having to resort to brute force. She asked Reacher and Finlay to back off from each other in multiple situations, and it worked.
Only because she was the voice of reason. In a more physical senario, she'd get stomped into the ground.

Roscoe reminds me of a female Portland Police Officer that I met back in the 80s. She was a 5'5" spitfire. And, the reason I know this is because I saw her in action. Despite many of the naysayers, Willa Fitzgerald did a fantastic job of portraying Roscoe.
When she hit him, I was expecting him to be very surprised, but at the same time, I was not anticipating any movements of his head.

Roscoe's character was very different than in the book. She is better in many ways in the show, except that they tried way too hard to make her look tough.

Honestly I thought they would have killed her after she punched that guy from My Cousin Vinny and animal house.. especially since she was digging so much into what really happened to her father figure a Grady.. since there are plans for season two I wonder how it's going to play out even in the Reacher movie that always seems like he always comes back when someone close to him dies or someone close to him is in danger.. there could always be a chance that there might have been more involved in the conspiracy with the counterfeit operation like maybe in season 2 they go after Reacher's girlfriend... you know just like the TV show Lethal Weapon just because Riggs found the person that hit man who killed his wife it later turned out that there was more people involved in the conspiracy... same goes for The X-Files main conspiracy about aliens
