FJ Cruiser - Archaic LED headlight swap…. Off-roading a bit and some mechanic work on the mountain. There was an issue and I currently don’t know what’s wrong so I connected archaic for support, hopefully they get back to me quickly with a simple fix. Part 2 still to come.

Thanks for the video, I'm in the process of installing the same set. My Canadian FJ, like yours, has the DRL option which uses a common ground instead of the common 12v these lights require. I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to switch the polarities without using multiple relays on each side. It looks like the shop you took yours to managed to do it with just one.

You’re correct there is only one relay on each side each side of mine, it looks like there was one ground wire, coming off of the relay and three or four other wires going into the light harness. Unfortunately, the wires are covered up, if you want a picture of the relay, I can always share that with you if needed and if your in serious need of help, I can possibly ask the shop that I went to also.

I’m having this same issue with my archaic lights I just installed
I heard something about them needing relays which is odd since they come with a transformer box on the light.

That is correct. They definitely need relays. Please watch all three of my videos “part 1,2,3 and I’ll get into it a bit better.
