Lovely sound, bigger, deeper all the good stuff 🤌Looking forward to all the comparisons to come!
👍👍😁
Wow. The bass is impressive. Plus it'll look good in a sleek living room.
160w from this speaker sounds warm and really nice
i do like it, if you like a warm sound signature its one you should look at for sure.
@@alanrossreviewsyou get me got onxy6 😂
Now i m in battlefield that should i get another onxy6 or sell my boi to buy go3!
Can’t decide 😢
Hello Alan.I am curious how many decibels does the go 3 reach at half volume and at max volume?
Still using my Harmon Kardon Go + Play Original. I added a simple blue tooth adapter to the 30pin iPod port for $20. I got a set of Rechargeable D batteries and a charging station for $50. Now I have a 100 watt wireless blue tooth speaker. Everyone throws out their old tech and spends insane money on new stuff when all they need to do is show a little love to what they've already got, put a few dollars into restoring/upgrading and you're good. 😎 Even my Sega Genesis now has blue tooth controllers with the blue tooth adapter put into the controller ports on the console. Love upgrading my old tech!
Now sell your services and make more money 💰
Good job! I’m rocking an original as well. It’s connected to my Roku, which is connected to a TV. I’ve also connected it in the past to a now defunct Chromecast Audio.
I’m still as impressed today with the sound as when it was released over a decade ago it seems.
Love your reviews! Been looking at this or an aura studio 4. Im puzzled to say the least. Coming from an onxy studio 5 I have some pretty high expectstions haha
i hope to do a proper compare with go3 and one of the onyx soon
go + play 2 was (and still is) my favorite portable speaker in its range. I couldn't find a better sound signature even with more expensive ones. Sadly, the battery on the one I have needs replacement (last 10 minutes unplugged).
I got excited to see there is a go + play 3 on amazon so I came to youtube for reviews before purchasing one and your review was the best out there. Hardly anyone talks about audio lag on Bluetooth speakers, so thanks for covering that as it's an important aspect to me (a dealbreaker).
or bother checking manufacturer specs for that matter.....you cant believe anything they tell you sadly. dont forget the lag will also differ by device, codec and os.
Still my main speaker as well. I've replaced the battery for a few bucks. I think i will do this every 2-3 years
What do you think between go3 vs. boombox 3? Sound quality
Love the crossover graph. Thanks Alan.
Had to do it with grill on so not perfect but still interesting for needs like me 😂
$128.55 on Harman's website. Picked up two and have them in stereo mode. SUPER happy!
£300 in uk 😭😭😭😭
@@alanrossreviews is this a worthwhile upgrade from Klipsch KMC3? Considering HK because sale price is so low...
@@chrisb1305 i never heard the kipsch but the go play 3 at that price is best buy for sure
Really good job. Sorry I am not sure to understand all because my english far to be as good as this video quality, but does the speaker has the same power pluged or on battery ? Have you ever tried the Teufel boomster, and if yes what do you think between these two ?
not tried the boomster. yes goplay3 goes louder on mains power.
@@alanrossreviews Thank you a lot Alan. If you can, try it. I had one, unfortunatly it has a default so I had to return it, and now I will prefer more power, but the sound quality is very nice.
I see Go + 2 for £200 and Go+3 for £300, wanna use it for indoor ( in a room) mostly. Have already Tribit Stormblast but it does not sound good for mids and highs but great bass. I want something better than StormBlast, first is it a good idea to buy each of these Go +? then is it really worth paying £100 more to buy the newer version(Go+ 3)? appreciated any advice
for me yes the 3 is worth the extra money because it is simply better than the go+ play 2.
Dear Alan, I am impressed with your reviews with detailed analysis. I want your frank opinion on Go+Play3 Vs Tribit Stormbox Blast.
go play 3 if you want an an upfront warm bass heavy prominent sound, blast if you want to eq it and want a more balanced sound while giving up some deep bass
@@alanrossreviews
Thanks Alan
So, Alan, Would you rather a Tribit Storm Blast over these two? Thankyou
go play 3 is simply better for a balanced listen but small battery
Will you ever check out the Harman kardon aura studio? The bass on that thing is quite good.
i just go week to week, it could happen at any point 😁
I can feel the difference in bass listning on my 710 🙂, avesome review, think maybe i must have this speaker 🥳
Its not a holy grail but worth the money for me. Others reporting mine sounds different to theres 🤷
@@alanrossreviews yes I have seen some reviews of it, and some made me doubt it, but I trust your recording and I clarely can hear the difference, go 2 is not a bad speaker but nr3 is much better for my listening, deeper bass and better treble and mid.
for me and my two versions 3 is better for sure than 2 and i already liked the 2.
Can you compare it with the bb3 wi fi? Thanks
Will this unit enter sleep mode after some time of being on but not playing anything? Or will I need to manually power it off with the power button?

How does the sound compare between the HkGO+3 go and the JBL Authentics 300? which would be ideal for a party setting?
all these comparisons to come......but this is cheaper than authentics 300 and sounds better but warm sound doesnt tend to do so well outdoors where the authentics may win out but its over priced and id get the encore over that one 🤷♂️
@@alanrossreviews Yes but with wifi is it possible to get a better sound with the 300 if the source is of better quality ? Plus the JBL have an app, home assistant (not essential for me but it has it so it is a plus) etc ... so when he compare the 300 is not so expensive in comparison to this HK. This Harman seem awesome, but for me it is a shame that there is no aptx or better bluetooth, because the hardware is awesome but the connection possibilities are a bit limited. SOrry for my english, very nice video anyway !
@@letraderencarton yes wifi better than bluetooth for same speaker. and yes sbc is awful on these expensive speakers.
@@alanrossreviews the same speaker with some aptx or ldac will be very good, because I think that the hardware can handle a very good sound quality (but I guess that as they are "portable", sound quality is not the major point ...).
@@letraderencarton i dont understand why wifi speakers come with sbc other than to flatter wifi mode
Is it possible to pair it with previos version, I mean go+play 2 and go+play 3?
not that im aware of
Good review. Can these 2 speakers be paired with each other?
Im not aware that they can but people often have workarounds for harman speakers
Which one do you recommend the jbl boombox3 or harman go play 3 for the bass? I love deep bass
bb3 is a proper boombox, go3 is a more balanced speaker.

Alan - HK Go&Play 3 or Tribit StormBlast? Sound & battery.
i still have to compare them fully first.
@@alanrossreviews
Test them. Similar price range. Also take into account working time. I suspect that Tribit will win here.
Very nice review. I only wish you compared it to your pound-for-pound world champion. Also the tri-bet The storm boxblast. Maybe even compare it to the w King d10. But still another solid review great job. I was educated when you were talking about the downward firing subwoofer that's very interesting. Seems like there's a lot of passive woofers out there let alone active subwoofers. It's important for us to watch these reviews and learn the difference between all of them and what they do. For example the w King d9 has that massive passive woofer on the back... And this speaker has the woofer firing straight down. Definitely interesting stuff!
ok so you mean passive radiator. Woofer is actually driven by a voice coil but passive rads are driven by the returning excursion of the woofer. Passive radiators have a very narrow tuning whereas a woofer plays a wider frequency so its not quite as critical for the passive rad to downward fire as its not such a part of the sound as the woofer is. Also passive rads are/should be sized to the woofer so a big one or a few small ones would end up being the same.
Can you tell me if the Harman Kardon go + play 3 has latency in its AUX IN, if you connect a musical instrument there, is it possible to play the instrument connected there AUX IN, without latency? I've already tried it on the JBL Boombox 3 and it doesn't work, the JBL's AUX IN has a lot of latency and it's impossible to use it to play an instrument.
did you check the specs in the video?
Looking to upgrade my sound...Always liked Harmon...still have my Onyx Mini, which in my opinion is quite good 👍 but looking for something along the partybox style and associated loudness but still love my Minirig3 2.1 setup❤👍🏽👍🏽Saying that, this and the new Harmon Aura 4 look like good propositions.
Also been looking at the Mackie Thump Go...would be lovely if you could review that particular speaker👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🥰
Thanks for the brill review/comparison and have you heard any more news on the Minirig4??? I'll definitely be looking forward to that review!!👍🏽🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
nobody tells me anything 😁 youd think minirig being run by a brit would support me at least but nope! i have my preorder in! i would imagine oluv will get his first, david from minirig seems to have a thing for him 😝
@@alanrossreviews David is a hussey! 😜 You would have thought MR would sort you out big time!!!
I get the feeling MR are quite big headed....its not like they don't have a flakey, poor app and dodgy quality control on their speakers and accessories 🤯 and when launching new products, you'd wanna hit all the reputable channels...yes, that strangely enough includes yours! 😜🤣
Saying that, you'd not want MR to do a dodgy like Soundcore and payoff channels for favourable reviews...x600 ring a bell!? 🤫🤔😉
i dont ask to be sorted out but i do think as someone who has sent plenty of sales his way after buying all his speakers myself he would support this channel with an early sample. he does send to other channels. but yeah im more comfortable buying myself and having full control over want i will say. fck the lot of them 😜
It will be my update...Thank you.

Sir, Could you review & compare Tronsmart Force Max to JBL Xtreme 3 please 🙏
Alan you were talking about latency so this wouldn’t be ideal as a tv speaker, correct?
yeah latency for me is poor even on auxillary.
Alan, I'd really like to see a comparison with jbk xtreme 3 (a little cheaper), boombox 3 (a little more expensive) or something similar. It will be very interesting!
the bb3 will kill the x3, even the cheaper options of blast and motion boom can get near to the x3.
Would you say this speaker is suitable for an outdoor event with 20 people? I am deciding between the Play3 and Stormbox blast for music at a wedding reception.
How long is battery life on play 3 at max volume?
Is sound quality noticeably better on the play 3 and Is that 5mhz drop noticeable on the blast?
Lastly, is there another speaker (of equal or smaller size) you would recommend as an alternative to the ones I mentioned above?
Thanks for the great reviews.
I would think for a decent party you want a larger partybox style speaker. The go play 3 is not really an outdoor speaker due to small battery and relatively low max volume. Blast would be better. Maybe the partybox 120 would suit more.
Can we expect a comparison review between the GP3 and for example Teufel Boomster, Tribit Stormbox Blast, JBL Boombox, JBL Partybox Encore?
And I wanted to ask you regarding your taste for wireless speakers - do you like most the best value-for-money speakers. Because for example there are speakers like Sonos Five, HK Citation 200, Bowers and Wilkins Formation Wedge, some Marshalls, Klipsch The Three. How do these compare to the likes of Tribit for example?
well i simply am one man and i haven't tried all those speakers let alone afford them. I dont have the boomster but i do hope to compare it with other speakers i have.
Overall a great sounding speaker. In my opinion, a true upgrade over the original. I believe the Goplay 2 had harsher highs when played louder. Noticable, the Goplay 3 doesn't have this issue and is a smoother listen. This difference is especially noticable in the second track, where the "wishhhh" and "ssss" sounds way harsher on the Goplay 2, added the tune on the background which seemed to push highs even more.
yeah ultimately g3 highs rolls off a tad more and have the 5khz dip which is a critical region for that high end crispness
@@alanrossreviewsperhaps its done on purpose. Hearing that others have way different sounds.. so hopefully goplay 3's sounds stays uniform.
Alan! 🎉 I've got the Tribit Stormbox Blast. I believe it's fuller louder than the HK Onyx 5 I also love. Will the Go play 3 be worth the buy??
it is for me, depends on your ears. if you like a war smooth sound with a touch of boosted bass its worth it. if you find boosted bass tiring or prefer more high response you might prefer the blast.
I'm not set on one specific sound signature but for $ the Blast is king so far to me. but I'm okay spending more if it's noticeabley more impressive. Bose always does an excellent job of sound for pound fullness without distortion and lately Tribit too. I'm thinking that the Onyx 5 and Blast are still nearly perfect (for Bluetooth speakers) Apologizes if I missed it but does the play 3 lose watts when its not plugged in? Imo another reason why blast is king. Doesn't lose power when unplugged
@@bigpatt8372 yes a couple of db louder on mains
Alan, your reviews are awesome. Thank you. An interesting speaker, but the question of price arises. It's only slightly cheaper than the boombox 3. But in terms of sound, they're in different categories, I think. The go play mini was a competitor to the jbl xtreme but not the Boombox 2.
This is a different kind of sound, bb3 is for parties and fun whereas i can have a more serious listen with this
Look. Go Play 2 for home (slightly cheaper) = xtreme 3 for outdoors (slightly more expensive). Now Go Play 3 for home is already priced almost the same as boombox 3 for outdoors. That is, before Go Play 2 vs xtreme 3 in price, now Go Play 3 vs boombox 3 in price.@@alanrossreviews
thats an interesting way to look at it 👍
How is it compared to jbl encore, marshall tufton/woburn 2 and stanmore 2? ;-;
maybe try danny pops, he has all the marshalls
@@alanrossreviews thank you!
The Play 3 sounds remarkably different for how similar the graphs are, the centre image on the go play 2 is much in your face but I really like a spread out sound like the motion+ vs something strictly forward firing. Kind of like how I can't stand IEMs or closed back headphones as they generally sound like the music is just being jammed into your ear canal instead of integrating more organically like good open backs.
play 3 does have that open sparkly type of sound
how come an open back headphone not sound jammed as well. In an open back headphn, the left audio will reach only the left ear just like iems and closed ones. All of them are unrealistic as in real world, both your ears hear the sound coming from your left, and the sound localization is done due to variations in amplitude and phase of the original sound that are reaching between both ears.
@@TrueMoments-nm6hc There is substantially less resonance and internal reflections because there's almost nothing behind the drive to reflect unwanted sound waves.
Most audiophile headphones are open back and closed back variants tend to be largely unsuccessful by contrast.
Speakers can only sound as good as the room allows and almost will never sound the same in two different houses for instance. Headphones sound somewhat consistent between people as the earcups and earpads are sonic tuned like a tiny room of their own.
Look at the Sennheiser HE1 for instance, it's absurdly expensive but most people are gobsmacked by how incredible it sounds.
I'm currently using Meze 109 Pro which are very good for the money and build ethos.
@@VantavimeowI actually agree with you about the internal resonance of iems and closed backs. Open backs dont have its own resonance but it mimics the natural resonance of our ear pinna and ear canal. Hence it sounds much better. But still it doesn’t sound as natural as stereo speakers in room. And i somehow contradict with your idea that speakers will sound different in different rooms. Yeah sure it can sound more bass heavy or brighter depending on the room but the sound characteristics remain intact except the bass ofc. A room may create resonance upto 500hz but nothing above. The bass-treble balance may alter but the characteristics dont change as different room dont create different resonance in treble and mids, but only in the bass.
you can get room modes all over the frequency range. reflections again can play havoc with the highs. headphones can never minic loudspeakers as such due to how we hear. bass felt through the body is perceived as extra bass which you totally miss with headphones. directional clues are picked up from minute turns of the head, again something missing in all headphones unless tracking is implemented.
Just grabbed one today, Holy Shhhht… the sound is astounding… Selling the Devialet Mania. This one is a keeper!
really?? 😲
Wich one would you chose between this play 3 or jbl partybox 110.
the 110 is way bigger, you cant compare them.
My apologies if this question was already answered here and I simply missed it, but I take it that Harman Kardon does not offer a supporting app for these speakers? …. No means of tuning the sound profile within the speaker’s own amplifier circuitry? Thank you for these enormously thorough and entertaining reviews!
there is no app, i really dont know why since they have an app for other items just not for the portable bluetooth speakers.
Nice review as always. A fantastic speaker. I liked the previous version and the new one is even better. Very pleasant tuning. By the way, is the bottom woofer vulnerable for damage? Is there any protection?
Well vulnerable yes, its totally open not even a grill
@@alanrossreviews well strange design then. Very odd.
i guess another clue they don't consider it a true portable
Id be happy with either :)
This is a very good sounding hifi speaker. This would fit well in many living rooms. My only criticism towards Harman is that they can do much better in terms of their design. Their designers are still stuck in the kind of modern design from decades ago, but that is personal preference I guess, other manufacturers do it much worse. Another speaker for grown up people worth reviewing is the Teufel Boomster from a couple of years ago. I think you would like that one as well, same price range, simple design but good looking speaker.
Lots i still would like to try 😂
Please compare with onyx 8.
I wanna see it compared to the onyx 5/6/8. curious to see how the bass compares
Yes lots of comparisons to be done
Sadly haman is not very available or popular in my country, barely have access to that speaker
😕
I think there's merit to be had with a speaker that just. sounds. good. no fancy features or crazy specs
Youd think that would be the bottom line right? No lights, no karaoke, won't make you tea in the morning but sounds good 😁
Nice detailed review as always👍
I wonder what Harman Kardon designers have with Purses & the Globe in general😅
The GPP3 is definitely a good upgrade, i think its high time Hk & JBL review their battery & price setting departments, i wonder what GPP3 sounds like against some of the bad ass Onyx Studio series & some other deep bass speakers
Someone mentioned he gave a go play to his wife to use as an iron, 🤗
@@alanrossreviews 😂😂😂
Need to see this up against the Boombox 3
Alan, I still want to hear your opinion, exactly by sound, is it worth replacing Go Play mini with Go Play 3? Is the price indifferent!
I noted the advantages for myself: the power supply is removed in the case, Bluetooth 5.2, a touch panel made of tempered glass, but still the main thing is the sound, for which in fact they fell in love with Go Play mini? I don't want to be disappointed in the third model)))
well i only had the go play 2, so i can only say its a nice upgrade if you like a warm sound.
Thank you, I will order a third one!!
How does this speaker compare to the Boombox 3 WiFi?
That comparison to come but its much smaller than the bb3, i wouldn't expect it to compete with a proper boombox
They've gone back to the citation designs which I don't mind. I still have a citation one and it's great. I'll be looking out for one of these on the used market 😜😜
They do chop change between generations
Any plans to look at the HK Luna?
yes its on the to-do list
Hello, Alan... Have you heard about the three different sound profiles built into the Go + Play 3? Would love to see you test them out...
Apparently, you should press the "+" and "phone" icons together, and the indicator light should blink, placing the speaker in its 2nd sound profile etc...
that doesnt do anything on mine, are you sure its for the go+ 3?

its good to wish 👍
Any chance of linking them ? 2 & 3 ?
didn't work for me
It would be cool to see it compared to the Encore, despite having 160W I have the impression that the Encore has more rumble
I dont take any notice of watt ratings. They both have small batteries.
the encore has good amount of deep bass. I have the go 2 and it sounds pretty balanced but doesn't have the bass encore has. There's no bass boost feature on most harmon kardon because jbl are usually bass speakers
I know that RMS power is mostly used as marketing strategy, but Alan, can you plwase give me sources where I can read what exactly is RMS power for speakers (in-depth explanation) and if I may ask you as well to describe it with simple words? Thank you for the review! 🎉
RMS (area under the curve) would be more relevant if all we listened to was flute music in sine wave, music in practice is made of complex waves and peaks. The only tangible measurment is in dB for identical signal sources and then the max could be at different parts of sound spectrum.
root mean square, its probably the safest way to compare power ratings, no measurement is perfect, all open to being skewed depending on testing methodology but for me the most reasonable way to to compare ratings.
@@alanrossreviews Do you mean it is a marker which shows how loud (powerful) a speaker is? If yes, then isn't a db-meter a better choice?
@@andrw8946 rms is the real power delivered into a load and sustained. unlike other measurements which are instantons measurements so pretty much of no meaning over a period of time. but the load you are driving matters so comparing simply watts rms tells you little since they can fake the watts by using a higher ohm load and taking measurements past elbow which is where all the distortion happens.
@@alanrossreviews If you are rating an amplifier on its own, then the output power would be somewhat more relevant as the resultant volume will depend on speaker sensitivity (dB per watt) however on these lovely swak boxes I guess the only true comparason is to dB them as Alan does.
My biggest problem with hk onyx studio and go play is the battery life, it sounds amazing, but poor battery life. Which means you cant take it anywhere and expect the battery life to last long.
The rated battery hours are for low volume listening , once you run the volume at max , the rated battery life dimnishes by half.
I dont know why its so hard for harman Kardon to give a bigger battery
Because it would eat into the jbl sales
Too bad there is no app for it. Otherwise, how can I update firmware without one?
I know it's not in the same category, but the need for a comparison arises: Boombox 3 (especially the wifi) or this? There is an app for the Boombox 3, and it has EQ, even if it only has three bands.
bb3 is a different kind of listen, although wifi is more serious. yes lots of comparisons to be done.
Personally i preferred go+play 2 and considering it goes for 199 euro in Finland (was even discounted at 159 euro recently) vs 350 euro for the go+play 3 for value it’s a no brainer.
at the end of the day if you prefer th sound of the g2 then even at same price its the obvious choice.
Holy smoke, I love your music selections!!!
I don't hear that too often 😁
I wanted to buy HK Go+Play 3. But in India it's not available. I even asked the HK support this was their reply-
"Thank you for contacting Harman-JBL Customer Support
We appreciate your keen interest in owning our range of products. As per your query, we would like to inform you that we have stopped selling HK Go+ play 3."
Why is that?
i guess they mean in India? its certainly sold in most other regions.
PLEASE REVIEW/compare the DEVIALET MANIA…possibly the BEST OF ALL out there.
Sure if I ever have a spare £700 to throw away 😭
Was interested to see this one!!
And I gotta agree with you Alan, the GPP3 sounds better to my ears as well. Curious how that bass is gonna compare to some of the other “deep bass” prominent speakers you have 👀
Fantastic video as always 😅
will will see 😁😁
@@alanrossreviews Very much looking forward to it.
Alan i already have so many speaker, but i this could be another one sound great ..... im waiting to try the soundcore 300 XD😅😅
yes sulky soundcore making this channel wait till i can actually buy it, how pathetic a company are soundcore??🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
they just are ignoring the europeen market and they concentrate just in america, why i dont know, but this speaker are review just in usa and some ther counrys
@@alanrossreviews
can you pair them?
not officially
The only con i have with HK and JBl is their Batteries on their speakers do not last long. I have had multiple JBl’s and HK products. And what always goes out first is the battery. I dont keep it plugged in and yet somehow the battery always dies where my portable speaker is now a plug in speaker. Until they fix that. I cant spend another $400 on a 2 year speaker
Are you using them daily?
No karaoke?!?! 😭 Deal breaker. I'm joking 🙂 but no doubt it would add even more value if it had that feature with everything else staying the same. The Go+ Play 3 sounds like a really solid option overall and definitely an upgrade from the previous generation (in my opinion, anyway). Thank you for another outstanding review and comparison, Alan! 😁👍👏
Hopefully they sound consistent as others are saying theirs sounds different
Super Duper Video Comparison! 👍✊️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ha! sounds like you really did like this one 😁😁😁😁😁

HK Go play 3 sounds really nice
Some reports of their version sounding different though, 🤷
@@alanrossreviews Well i think my unit was a bit muddier than yours
they are funny tweeters, you need to be in a sweet spot to avoid the roll off sound. but on axis right in front its doing a decent job for me,.
how many percent go play 3 better than go play sir?
huh?
31,5%
hi have this go play lfm mode ?
you mean kill your speaker service mode as on jbl? not that im aware.
@@alanrossreviews kill speaker?? 🤣🤣 i use my speaker 4 years whit this mode oke thx
@@steeet6841 you are one person. many have bricked their speaker. its a service mode. there is no such thing as lfm. all you are doing is removing the limiters which protect the drivers.
The downward firing subwoffer should have been oval in shape and the feet just like on the go+play 2 for 360° dispersion
yeah they could have eeked out a bit more surface area that way. You mean taller feet or you just prefer the feet? remember the woofer cant be too far off the surface because its working with compression of the air to boost the bass output.
@@alanrossreviews the feet is perfectly sized... the four feet just for bass to disperse in all directons
@@philjoysavio6805 ah i see what you mean, yeah then it would make more sense. but i wonder if its deliberate to maximise compression?
@@alanrossreviews yes! ur right
Sad, I thought New gen. Go play will have wifi streaming features like Omni or Citation series, why Harman why?
Cause it might eat into bb3 sales
@@alanrossreviews sorry , what's a bb3?
@@orheianul boombox 3 wifi edition
@@alanrossreviewsoh right, but I ask myself why a boombox needs a wifi version, the boombox is for the streets and party's ..? That's a bad decision in my opinion.
have you seen the new jbl partybox on the go essential? Haven't seen anyone talk about it weird stuff. Seems like the regular on the go but with the big cool logo :)
do you mean the encore??
@@alanrossreviews No not the encore there is a new jbl partybox on the go essential edition that has appeared in stores close to me, I know you haven't reviewed it but I am quite curious that it seems like it doesn't exist on youtube.
@@alfredandersson2514 have you got a link?
I see they released the Soundcore X500. 🤦. I just don't get it. Why would anyone get that and not just the the X600. Its wider, so it will have better separation, and it has tweeters and its 10 more watts.
Soundcore are a great company for marketing bullshit, i guess its working and we will now get an avalanche of mediocre products with intensive shill sponsorship 😳
They are just milking the gullible at the moment i think 🤷 hopefully it ends as i predicted with their credibility in ruins
That battery life is seriously disrespectful to all customers
Maybe it is because it is not build like a true mobile speaker, it is more an house speaker that you move in differents room, garden etc ... but maybe not to far. I guess that is the way they build this.
@@letraderencarton that’s true but it would still be nice to not have to plug it in so often
but almost the same as the encore and bigger than all the onyx series
So are the charging/cable
@@letraderencarton true I guess you could just leave it plugged in most of the time if it doesn't damage the battery
These prices are over the top.
£300 seems reasonable to me given what else is priced around that. £350 for the dali katch?
Wonder what it would sound like against the onyx 😮
hopefully we will find out 🤣
👍👍👍
👌👌👌
Is this the new EXPENSIVE pound for pound champion? I have the Go+ play and I love it, got it for $200. I think I will wait for the price to go down on the Go play 3 because Harmon speakers usually go on sale.
Well pound for pound is for prices but this may be the £250-£300 champ for a hifi type listen, its not a party speaker
@@alanrossreviews party speakers have their uses but I prefer detailed speakers that separates the highs, mids and lows. I await the speaker battles!
sure, they are all good in their own main scenario. sometime i want to party and sometimes i just want to relax and just listen.
@@alanrossreviews exactly!
I did not expect this result. I send back my two go3. For my ears or my early model, the mids where shifting too much in treble and treble was srcatchy sounding on some tracks. Not smooth. On some tracks is was really nice detailed. My girlfriend told me same in a blind test (she has no experience in this). Maybe its because i came from stormbox blast. I compared them to encore, the encore was my to go on most tracks (not at all).
i can only tell you how i found this one 🤷♂️
@@alanrossreviewsI heard again some of your samples. Its strange, they really sound both good with more bass to the go3. In my real world comparison to the 2 and 3, they had 2 very different sound signatures.
Anyhow, great video alan!
Edit: maybe you can compare to the encore?
yes lots to compare to
Let's see how good it is 😁
its pretty decent imho
@@alanrossreviews Just heard the first sound test, I definitely agree !
It does have better highs and the improved bass is also welcome.
Adding it to my wishlist 👍
definitely a better buy than the authentics 300
@@alanrossreviews For sure lol, Authentics 300 is way too expensive for what it is 😂
A500 was destroy this thing. But in 700$
I like My Go + Play 3's.
Good bass for DEATHSTEP!!!

Dubstep and Riddim.

@@alanrossreviews I mean out of all speakers you heard till now. Which one is your favourite?
Who will be first ? Have you seen the new retro jbl range of speakers?
it could be you 👍👍👍👍 yes already reviewed the authentics 300
@alanrossreviews Ah yes. Had an email off them 20%off . Still happy with stormbox blast. I wonder if they'll go bigger ?
i would think so..eventually!
Needs AirPlay 2
Sadly no wifi, crazy
Boom 2 Boom 2 Boom 2 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 new Mid size bang for buck King !!!!!!!!

Why does HK try to make all of their speakers look like high-end lady handbags? :-)
To be fair i kinda like this one 😁
Is it not a "gp play mini"? There is no "go play 2"
lol
This or Boombox 3!?!?
this or a please can you tell me?
