ICH Stability Zones | Climatic Zones For Stability Studies

The climatic conditions of the whole world are not the same as different temperature & humidity ranges exist in different countries.ICH has divided the whole world into 4 climatic zones.The zone IV is further divided into IV a & IV b zone.
The name of climatic zones are given below
Zone I Temperate
Zone II Mediterranean
Zone III Hot Dry Humid
Zone IV a Hot humid
Zone IV b Hot higher Humidity
All countries are divided into above mentioned zones depending upon their temperature & humidity conditions.
If you want to export your product to a specific country you must have to perform stability studies of that drug product according to the zone where that country falls.
