I had a friend get stuck in a stock XJ. He kept saying we needed to "wench" it out. Finally I corrected him that it was "winch". He asked what the difference was. My response was that a wench would likely scream if you tried to bolt her to the bumper lol.
If everyone standing around woulda lifted his read end up over the rock he coulda made it over it and I would have drop the rear driveline he might’ve but I couldn’t tell
The rescue seemed like one of those guys that can't take direction. Can't do anything smoothly and is driven by a giant ego. Bull and bravado with no style or finesse. You'll be pulling him out again down the road.
