I am from a much different climate here in Buffalo, but I was wondering if you use bead lock tires and rims for your off road recovery vehicles? some people here do it so they can get better bite when they lower there air pressure in the tires

When pulling them like that it’s good to here you don’t go to the hitch friend of mine was killed in October when they got their super duty stuck, and somebody tried to pull them out, using their receiver, and it snapped off and went clean through the windshield and hit my friend in the face and it killed him

Mine BARELY fits as it is - the 5th wheel overhang it like 4-5” above my tailgate - but I also converted mine to have a pickup box on it so a flatbed or something lower than a pickup box bed rail would definitely help. It’s got power for days to pull it though!

We lived in Tennessee too and all over the south my wife was in the army.did four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan three of those were combat tours, but anyways, she works for Catapillar down here in Green Valley at the proving grounds but there’s too many older folks and snowbirds that live up there for us to want to be up there no I just thought it was cool that she was born and raised in Tennessee. Keep a dry eraser in the cab for soaking up the moisture and defogging the windshield, works great and then leave on dash to dry out for next time

I only took out the drive shafts if going long ways and I kept the speed around 45 or when you got to the road put on dolly
