“Harlem” star Meagan Good reminisces about her first speaking role in the 1995 comedy “Friday” and the advice Michael Clarke Duncan, who was a stand-in, gave her when she was making sandwiches for her castmates. Meagan also talks about how she started working out and made an affirmation video in hopes of landing a superhero role before auditioning for “Shazam!” and the importance of on-screen representation. She also tells Jennifer about her emotional meeting with her showbiz hero Halle Berry and reveals she asked Regina Hall for advice before her “Harlem” audition.

Meagan is truly kind to others on set. I did her makeup years ago on Moesha AND I've seen her on other sets since and Michael Clark Duncan is smiling from heaven because she listened. Yes we are strong; however, when the body is overstressed it gives signals and if the signals are ignored then the body can be destroyed.
