I always love hearing what books are meaningful to each family. I’m not a fan of Kobi Yamada (the graphics are nice but the stories just didn’t feel as special to me). I’m curious to read the Little Red Hen though! I think the story sounds nice and I found a copy that even comes with a recipe for bread in the back.
One of my favorite authors is Robert McCloskey. His books felt like they had depth and I felt like my kids were going on adventures along with the characters. My daughter’s favorite new book is called The Story of Little Babaji by Helen Bannerman. I highly recommend it for parents of toddlers.

The Little Red Hen is so cute! You’ll enjoy it for sure. You’ll definitely have to try the bread recipe. I can totally get your opinion on Kobi Yamada, trust me there are definitely books out there that people adore and I am not a fan. 😂
