- Gwen Stefani is on cloud nine! "The Voice" coach was overwhelmed with excitement as she celebrated her first win on the show with Season 19 champion Carter Rubin. Following the finale, the pop star gushed over the 15-year-old music prodigy, saying, "The way that he can compose himself enough to make a vocal performance that is so in control and so emotional and so in the moment, it amazes me as an artist myself. I can never do that on TV, so to watch him do it at that age … it's incredible. It's so inspiring." Stefani also shared her biggest piece of advice for the teen going forward in his career, as well as the surprising reason why she "felt bad" for him during the blind auditions!

This season 19 of The Voice has been the most amazing ever 💖 Gwen has been an amazing coach and that has clearly come across on screen. Gwen is a legend shes been around for a long time. Shes great with No Doubt. Shes is one of my favorite artist.
Me too! I discovered No Doubt when I wat 14. That's been almost 24 years ago. If I went back in time and got to work with Gwen at Carters age, I don't know if I would have been able to even speak.

That's what I love about Gwen. She's the most humble celebrity ever. Her net worth is more than the other coaches and she bought revolution for girls to be on a band. She has sold unlimited records and she is still so down to earth. Sometimes, I feel annoyed though. She should be a little less humble even though it's a really great quality, I don't really like when she downplays herself when she is so talented.

Agreed the show is so much fun to watch it’s definitely the most fun and has such big name celebrities who are current coaching but it’s the ONLY one that hasn’t begun anyone’s career on a significant level I mean honestly Jermaine Paul season two is winter his biggest career moment game winning a Grammy as a back up singer before the voice shows like American idol their fifth and seventh place winners went on to have careers

I think him deserving it doesn't take away from the others also being deserving. I thought Desz, Carter and Jim were all great vocalists in different ways. I think Desz should have been higher but I could have seen any 3 of them winning and deserving it.
