This is sick, still not sure i would pay that much for what seems like 10% of just an actual phone, given most newer phones usually has VR capabilities you're only really getting AR. However if this is a prototype into what they can do, I'm defo all for it.
I have used and own a few different VR headsets and I wouldn’t buy the Apple Vision Pro the price is too high, It doesn’t have a native VR TH-cam App well it has no official TH-cam App at all, Apple restrict you from watching certain type of content for example adult content is blocked (if I’m paying over 3000 for a device I shouldn’t be restricted… it should be my choice to watch what I want privately on my device in my house), The battery is an external brick that you need to carry on yourself somewhere while using it and it only last for 2 hours, I’ve looked online and even without the battery in the headset reports say the headset is still heavier than others like the Quest 3 and it doesn’t have as many apps as some of the other headsets. I’d much rather buy something like the Quest 3 which is significantly cheaper at around £470 for the 128GB and around £600 for 512GB, it has a VR 360 TH-cam App, it is backwards compatible with the Apps from Quest, Quest 2, Rift and some Oculus GO Apps, It doesn’t restrict video content and allows you to side load your own Apps outside of there store and has Hand Tracking too so you can navigate menus and stuff without using the controller (some games force you to use controller and some don’t) so pretty much you still get the nice VR experience with a lot less restrictions. That’s just my opinion. If I’m wrong about anything feel free to correct me.
I fully hear you for native apps but I do believe a lot of the standard apps will be on it soon Adult content defo isn’t blocked (I checked) I explain my feelings on the external battery in my next video (please subscribe so you don’t miss it) And it’s defo heavier the the others as this is made from glass and metal and the others are made of plastic I honestly enjoyed seeing your perspective on it tho but I have to wonder if you’ll feel the same after my second video on it. Would I spend the 3500? Nah I don't think so personally, I imagine it's the start of many and better to jump in later where things are refined and cheaper (like foldable devices etc). Seems interesting though. Very distopian though lol😅😂
