I read that Flo was not in studio for My World is Empty either. And Nedra Talley of the Ronnettes said that she can't hear herself on one or more recordings, yet she definitely remembers laying the tracks down. That's where art is lost along with the soul of the music.

The Singing Machine Company put out a series of 18 CDs back in 2000 or so. All the Motown number one songs with the isolated vocals (Diana Ross, Micheal Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye etc), and also the backing tracks, sometimes with the backing singers. Like on the supremes you’ll hear the backing track and Flo and Mary’s backup vocals, but no Diana. I snapped all of these up when they were released. I’m sure if you find then on eBay now they would cost a fortune.

the vocals for YCHL were recorded on July 5, 66. The girls were scheduled to record on July 4 but Flo didn't arrive. So D and M recorded What Becomes of the Brokenhearted. D did lead and then also recorded the backgrounds with Mary Then on the 5th, the girls returned to the studio and Marlene joined them. They did Misery Makes It's Home, Just a Little Misunderstanding, Slow Down, You Can't Hurry Love, Come on and See Me.
According to Wikipedia, You Can't Hurry Love was recorded on July 5 AND June 11. So who showed up to record YCHL on June 11? According to Mary Wilson's Dream Girl book, her index (Page 261) indicates that Whatever Becomes of the Brokenhearted, Just A Little Misunderstanding and Come on and See Me as recorded on July 1. Mary (Page 260-261 ) also lists Misery Makes Its Home in My Heart as recorded on June 30. Mary Wilson gives no recording date for the recording of YCHL. All of the dates indicated are for the year 1966. No wonder Flo did not show up for to record these songs. She was probably was too exhausted to come in and record what basically are filler or cover songs that would never get released except for You Can't Hurry Love.
