First I would like to thank you for a great video, was actually looking for a comparison between both chargers, again great job and excellent video. While I do have 2 hobby grade chargers (iCharger and a Tenergy) plus an Ambient Weather Nimh charger and an old La Crosse BC-900, I was looking for another reliable and precise (sorta) charger and the price for the BC-3000 looks very tempting considering it's 50% less than a BC-3400. My question to you is , how has the BC-3000 been holding up? and if you had to decide between the BC-3400 and the BC-3000, what would you pick since they both seem identical (including components) ?
Jorge Lama I will state this, I purchased 12 more BC-3000 units and no issues as of yet. I’ll say as long as you stick with one brand... normally all results will be fairly close.

What will the c3400 do that the c3100 won’t?

I tried finding the UL E466491 but no luck ...
You missed that the clone's input requires 1.2 amps whereas the OPUS requires 0.8.
As an experienced electrical problem solving individual, you know that 2 identical models can have variances. To not test several models of each to get the accumulative/average differences - this test is inadequate.

I am getting around 160mah difference between 2 opus c3100. I’m trying to configure a power wall and group batteries with same mah together, why the hell even test.
General South I understand. With the tolerance levels that slot of these MFG’s use, it’s going to be a general test tool. In order to be 98-100% correct, sadly those test tools will be very expensive.
But I will say is that in some test I’ve seen the battery be the cause. Some batteries.. once drained and retested show different results. But it was also a battery issue. Make sure your battery isn’t close to the end of its life. Again I’m. It stating that’s the case. But could be.
160 maH is significant if the batteries are 1000maH. However if they are 3000maH batteries, the difference is less significant.
Good info but turn the music down a few notches... We all jumped out of our seats to turn the music down then back up again to turn it up once you start talking..
holy crap cant watch this video at night time when all is quiet and people sleeping. I need to invest in headphones to watch your videos, hope you fix the volume level in the following videos... Very Very irritating and Distracted away from the video quality. I'm surprised you did not notice before you uploaded.
Constructive criticism, Just a heads up.
My fake one didn't even last several weeks for a test. I bought from EBay seller (angellala-015) that shipped me a power unit that couldn't even deliver the amperage required for the charger, with a converter that was so badly designed it could literally not fit inside the hole of the European sockets. I used it for about a week and then when I was almost falling asleep, a bang and a flash woke me back up. A slot on the unit had died and something actually shorted inside. Considering it's fed 12 V 1 A, that flash must've been a capacitor blowing. So, if you're getting one of these, just pay for the proper units from a reliable source. Anything else is just stupidity in the name of cheapness :(
