Good video, thanks for sharing. I'm American living in Sweden for 20 years. Me and my wife are planning on moving to Spain and considering Valencia one day. My next vacation will be Valencia for sure.
I love your videos so much, thank you for sharing your beautiful pov on Valencia. This city is calling me for ages now, and I'm so excited to visit it in few days !!!! I love it
Hello Antoanetta, I've been following you for a long time and I'm always pleasantly surprised by the conviction you put into your videos. I'm lucky enough to come regularly to Valenciennes, our beloved city. It's love at first sight, for its architecture, its gastronomy and its atmosphere. So much so that 6 years ago I bought a flat for our retirement. Our closest friends are from this magnificent town. Keep that mentality! Kind regards, Amar,
wow this is perfectly timed. we are visiting Valencia and decided to move here. And we wonder about the neighborhoods! cant wait for the next part&s! :D
I LOVE this video. I'm going to be moving to Valencia for a year in eight months. So your personal insights and perspective has been very helpful. It is a beautiful city that I've enjoyed from visiting. You have only increased my desire to be there. Solo has aumentado mi expectativa de estar allí. ¡Un beso!
I'm British and I used to live in Benimaclet during the 1980's. It's largely a modern district but it's on the edge of the city and it's nice to walk into the countryside towards Alboraya. But Benimaclet also is the district with most speakers of Valencian in the city because most residents of the city speak Castellano and you only really hear Valencian in the rural areas in La Huerta.
It's not the same being a true-blue Valencian as being just an immigrant in València. The latter tend to be monolingual in Spanish and are not knowledgeable about local culture or history. @@carolinafernandezgomez8149
Hi Antoanetta, first I'd like to say that you and a few others have convinced my wife and I to move to Valencia from Florida (I've mentioned some of our reasons in a previous video of yours.) Question about the "modern section" you mentioned that you were in the Quatre Carreres areas but the section you circled with your finger appears to be more of the Camins Al Grau area (according to Idealistas map.) Could you clarify that for us? Thank you for you videos!
Hola! This is great information! Question for you... how difficult is it to get around the city? (I will be there for Spanish classes in July)... gracias! 😊
Hola 😊 the city is VERY walkable. You can get almost anywhere within 30min. The metro is good it is not extremely connected like in New York or London but it is good enough. You can use ValenBici these are the city bikes you can ride and leave at stations through Valencia. You will love it!
Finally! It is here! Hello I like the video showing different areas in Valencia. I am online English teacher and I would love to move to Valencia. Which area would you recommend for a starting point living in Valencia as a online nomad?
What about l'olivereta, is that neighborhood so unattractive that there is no one video about it? It lays next to center, next to el rio, and still it is novhere to find information about it.

Hi, I'm thinking of moving there too. How's the job situation there now after the virus? I know Valencia relies a lot on tourism.
The weather looks great!

Am I missing something? The title mentions five neighborhoods but it only covers two. Did a get a shortened version?

Did you end up moving and how did it go? I’m in the same situation
We don't want any more expats in València, locals are being expelled from their own city. Go gentrify somewhere in your own country, please.
Have you visited Algemesí?
Does Campanar count?

El Carmen is like Villege or Soho in NYC
