Love this opening. I'm drinking coffee. The Great Divide is flagged for my TBR. Pelican Girls sounds great. And, I love debuts. Oh wow, Listen for the Lie. Thanks for enlarging my TBR.
The Great Divide and Berlin Letters both sound great! I am awaiting the release of the new Tana French (3/5). Love these videos ... and the inevitable increase in my TBR list!
I'm looking forward to A Great Country (I enjoyed Gowda's Shape of Family), Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering, Kill for Me Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh, After Annie by Anna Quindlen, and Murder Road by Simone St. James.
I’m going to finish reading/listening to “The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle” by Jennifer Ryan. It is historical fiction and came out in 2022 (?). It has been a very enjoyable read. Next on my list is The Hunt by Kelly J. Ford. Serial killer…set in Arkansas…..an aunt protecting her nephew!!! I’m looking forward to it!!!
Pelican Girls sounds great. New Orleans is a buzz word for me, and I’ve never heard of the women from France being shipped from an institution to New Orleans. It sounds fascinating.
My all time favorite New Orleans book is Interview with the Vampire.🧛🏻♂️It’s the O G New Orleans book which made me fall in love with the city long before I ever visited. I have since been there many times and love it. Now, I’m not recommending the book for you necessarily, but I could see you getting along with Lestat, though I think Louis might drive you bonkers with his existential whining. 😂
