Seiko is one of the most important idols in Japan, you should react to ''Hadashi no kisetsu'' from her too by the way this song was composed by Yumi Matsutoya, a great singer-songwriter
@@hanierfamilyI got to look at Japanese music as soon as I could access the internet around 2001. And I've liked this one a lot. If you think this one is cute I wonder what you'd feel about some others which are definitely more so. I feel emotion in this for sure. I'm not interested in anime, and music for that now is likely way weaker now than it was in the 80s. I'd take some of the classic pop melodies of the 80s over generic rock anime songs now. I must have a wider taste in music as I do like Je Suis Malade too. I like good melody in well constructed songs, and I can take strong emotion or songs not so intense sometimes. Maybe it's the arrangement you don't like as much or the contrast of more up tempo moments in the instrumental and the more intense vocal. She did a duet with Wahlberg, a way inferior song. She tried a couple times to get bigger in the US but the English language songs weren't as good. As for Tiffany All This Time is ok but not sure I like much more. I feel US pop was better in the 70s in general. I remember someone on a forum saying they didn't like the relatively high pitch Seiko's voice has, but not a problem for me. If anything it make songs more intense.can
A singer with this cute voice is rare even in the world. As a pop star, you may be evaluated as the top level in the world.

She did do that duet with Donnie Wahlberg!
I liked this from 2001 on even though I had no idea of the lyrics then. Love the black dress live performance she did.
