UNFORTUNATELY it wasn't this song that won, but that specific arrangement of this song. I say it's unfortunate because I find that arrangement to be worse than both the original and Smash versions.
@@Omniphagus Yeah but the original and Smash versions weren't competing for the Grammy in the first place. No reason for The 8-Bit Big Band's win being "unfortunate", it's still a good rendition and an achievement for videogame music overall.

Meta Knight has always been my favorite Kirby character, even as a little kid I thought, “wow this guy is so cool! Where’s he from?” So I have to thank him for introducing me to the series. I also remember seeing him in epic yarn and got super hyped, “I GET TO FIGHT HIM?! YEAHHHHHHHHHH MOM LOOK META KNIGHT’S IN THIS GAME!” With my sister just staring at me lol.
And yes, I did get excited when I saw him in forgotten land.
Edit: I also forgot to mention that I was super happy when I saw him in KRTD. I squealed in happiness.

I can officially declare this Theme a work of art now that it has won a Grammy.
Ok, so, when I was little I had Kirby Squeak Squad on my DS and I remember not being able to get past the meta knight fight. I always called him "Monstrul Sabie" which in romanian to english translates to "Sword Monster". Just felt like sharing it with you all.

@@Howlingburd19 Fair question. He's not quite bad but he's not really that great either. Some of the fastest attacks in the whole game but not too much damage to back it up (Also Mach Tornado sucks and all his specials leave him in free fall).
I still find him really fun though

The real problem with meta knight is that he only has 2 moves to gain a good advantage state, dash attack and down throw (no DI or DI in)
@@Rimari0 Practically every character can escape an up air ladder since none of it actually combos. None of Meta Knight's kill options are particularly reliable save for F smash (which is quite slow for a meta knight move), a lucky down B, or a high percent down smash. You're more likely to get kills via ledge guarding

Meta Knight is just a truly amazingly crafted character. His design is pretty cool, he has an awesome soundtrack ALWAYS, is strong yet not too strong to seem unrealistic (Exept in Brawl), HE LOOKS COOL EVEN WHEN JUST A PUFF BALL! A 10 out of 10 character all around

Return to dreamland was my first Kirby game and when I saw Meta Knight in the cutscenes he instantly became my favorite and I wanted to play as him and After playing many more Kirby games I haven’t gone back on that initial impression.
I would play as him when I was 4 or 5. I also used dedede sometimes
Meta Knightmare is such a fire extra mode and I'm slightly angry that it's only been in two games. Like, my guy can move at supersonic speeds, instantly heal his wounds, teleport the other Meta-Knights to him, and create a gigantic terrifying tornado that wipes out all life within a couple hundred meters by using the energy his legendary sword pulls from his defeated foes. Meta Knight's freakin awesome.

This should've played when Meta Knight showed up and got into a brief sword fight with Marth
Well it did right afterwards. Immediately after that cutscene in the Subspace Emissary, Marth and Meta Knight team up to fight a barrage of Subspace enemies. This is in the Battlefield Fortress level.

At this point, Kirby has destroyed an incredible amount of the Halberd, and it's now on a crash course. With nothing left to do about it, Meta Knight commands all of his army to evacuate while he tries to approach Kirby personally.
