This looks perfect for my 16 year old grand daughter. She requested an afghan for christmas. But she likes only white, shades of gray and black. She doesn't want a solid one either. Guess she knows what she likes! This will be perfect. I will keep going to make it bigger and might play with grays and blacks with main color of white. Thank you for posting. I have been looking for ideas for weeks.
Well, you are keeping me hopping. So far I have made 2 dolls. One doll has 12 outfits (one for each holiday and 2 dresses) and one doll with 2 outfits and each doll has 2 accessories. I have 8 square crows finished, with 2 more to just finish sewing together. Now I will have to start this blanket. Love ❤️ it. Thanks for keeping me busy and inspired.
Well another project for me. You are keeping me hopping. So far I have made 2 dolls with 14 outfits and 2 accessories, and have finished 7 square crows and 2 more to sew together ( have all the pieces made). So I guess later today I will have to make this blanket. It is so cute. Thanks for keeping me inspired. Love your tutorials.
Love this stitch. So many color possibilities to making this. Your tutorial was spot on, thanks for sharing this one. I think pillows would be great. 🤗 from me in Florida 🌴
I think I will make mine bright yellow and red and boarder it in white for the KC Chiefs. FYI if you use pattern thru tow 4 or 5 would make a great coaster. Thanks Pamela have it saved in my folder. 👍🧶🦋😍
Hello Pamela....I love love love this blanket idea....I would like to make it exactly like yours...could you show us in a video what the 'backside' looks like with all the 'carrying' of the white and black yarn? I cannot imagine what it could look like! thank you in advance!
I love this pattern. I am making my second one starting today. It is so fast and easy but looks difficult. As for the blue I would like to see a throw . I a lso think the red would be a great throw for the down stairs sofs.
I knew I would come back to this blanket eventually. I finally got the book and I was wondering what happens to the 2nd yarn 🤣 I like how you handled it, but I think I will still be cutting mine. I'm planning on it being used for a lovey and I didn't want any little fingers getting in there pulling out stitches 🤣 Not that they could really pull them out, but they could make that corner look wonky 🤪
I am new to crocheting and this is a wonderful tutorial! Looking forward to making this blanket. I wanted to ask you, on the border, when you come to the corner do you do four double crochet stitches? I was not clear on that since you are putting a single stitch in between the four double crochet stitches. Thank you!
@@PamelasAdoringCrochet I understood that part of the sc, however, I was talking about the second row of the border where you put the four double crotches, then single crochet. What do I do on the corners of the last row of the border. Thanks!
It's me again. Lol.. I started making a sample of this pattern, but I can't put it down. My husband came by what stitch are you making and ask if I would make him a lap size for watching football. 👍🤗
If you use a multi-colored yarn and a solid yarn, the outcome is gorgeous

I was wondering what you did with the yarn you were carrying up each time, it looks beautiful
I'm going to try this today❤
Hope you like it!
That makes for an interesting blanket
Thank you.
I would like to make this but in a rectangle for a twin bed. Is there an easy change to do that or does it need to be a square? Thanks so much!
I have not done that before but I'm sure there may be some tutorials for it.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Buenas tardes. Una puntada muy bonita. Me gustaría saber cómo queda por detrás?? Muchas gracias por sus tutoriales. Saludos desde España!

On the sc part of the border I am only putting 3.
