Thanks for your training day, was great to meet your and I have learned so much in that one day. Hope you get your channel back to where it was and even more successful than before.
Glad your all up and running again Tony. Been watching you years and like your input on new products that I’ve gone on to try myself, keep up the great content mate
Good morning Tony from Australia. I saw the notice of the release time and had to wait until this morning to watch it. A piece of toast and a cup of coffee and a great start to the day watching. Best wishes in the fight back from the hackers. I can't wait to see part 2.
I love my SATA 100p, its my go to for laying down the Tamco HP5300 primers! Cant wait to see how this car turns out! Im finishing up a 92 Bronco in Kandy Killa Blue right now and having a super high build on hand was a massive time saver for the hood and doors with them being such a nightmare to block down. Have an awesome weekend:)
Glad to see you back Tony as you said it will take time but we cannot give in and lie down to these people we need to prove what they are doing is not acceptable to the good people of TH-cam keep up the good work looking forward to the next video cheers mate
hi tony we are all 100% behind you mate. loving the work your doing . i have some catching up to do. im looking forward to seeing this car done and also the new project. hope you and your family are well tony.
I’m preparing my own fiber glass car for paint right now, so this video comes very much in handy🙏There’s limited and very different information about this topic out there.
I’ve not seen anything out there but I’ve not searched but I can assure you we’ll cover the process in depth on this series and nah questions ask away mate
Nice to see the Chanel up and running again, always enjoy the vids, got a couple of questions have you thought about doing a vid of the shop sometime to give all the people who enjoy your work a chance to see around the place and how you operate outside the booth as well, looking forward to the next installment of the tvr
hi jim i have mate yes but its an iffy one that because im not sure id like to show to the world whats in the shop kit wise ect but possbly in the future we shall see
Hi Tony, what a fantastic video to reboot the channel mate I really hope you get it back to where it was quickly then build it up even better. Really enjoyed the premier and live chat last night, it seemed quite busy on the chat so I hope it went well for you. I could see the Evercoat had a really good build to it and that it was quite thick as it went on with a textured finish, I've heard this is really good stuff so I'm looking forward to seeing the blocking and sanding stage to see how you get on with it👍 As you know I've got a Sata 100B but mine is the high build/WoW primer version with the 1.8 and 1.4 tips but I've had an issue with mine where the air valve keeps sticking, the pin that sticks out onto the trigger keeps sticking, when the airline is not attached it will stay in when you pull the trigger, I've taken it apart several times to clean it and then it's ok but just sitting on the rack it will be sticking again the next time I use it, strange fault. Thanks for doing the vids mate and it's great to see you back👏👌👍
hey buddy firstly thanks mate youve ben a full on subscriber for so many years and it means alot mate on and of youtube , and maybe have a word with charlie mate at sata im sure they can drop you some advice mate if your having issues with it mines still nearly new so not noticed anything , and we will come back bigger and stonger mate just you wait
Hi Tony, great work as per usual. I've recently been using a similar product here in Aus called Resto Finish on a '66 Mustang coupe. It comes in a variety of colours, but I ended up getting a black kit as it was pretty much the only available 'colour' at the time. The car isn't finished yet, but the panels that i have done in the black poly primer have a fairly high semi-gloss finish, and being black immediately show up any defective areas (low spots etc) even before beginning to block. Worth a try if you ever get the chance as it really highlights the areas that need a bit more work/filler up front. It is a direct to metal product and a primer all in one but i intend to go with a grey high build 2k to finish off before a direct gloss 2k top coat. Cheers!
Missed the premiere for my phone died at the garage but my god Tony what a way to kick the channel off again such a sick car! Awesome video as always 👌
Sorry to here your probs with hacking I hope you get fully sorted and back to full subs I've not been commenting for a while due to my own health probs I hope your health is getting better so keep up the good work mate i always enjoy watching your vids you take care
Good videos. Thank you. Question: I know they recommend a 2.0mm tip or bigger, but is it possible to shoot the Super Build with a 1.8 or am I going to fight it the entire time?
Sorry to hear about the hack mate. Great content as always and this product looks really good. Would I be right in thinking this could be sprayed over the top of cellulose paint? Looks like I'm going to be redoing my MG as I'm really not happy with the finish so going to go 2k, but don't want to have to strip the whole car back down to bare metal and fibre glass if I can avoid it, so this would hopefully be a solution. Cheers again!!
Great to see you back and what a car!! Question: I have a mk5 golf and lacquer peel is growing rapidly, I’d love to see how you’d deal with this, I have a direct gloss 2k in the right red paint code, should I paint the whole panel red?should I buy some lacquer and just repair the area? Can I lacquer over direct gloss paint? So many questions!!

Hello Tony, would this product be thick enough to cover spider cracks in fibre glass?
yes but the cracks are often in the gel coat and need to be removed / ground out first then something over it
