      Have you seen auto restorers the guild on youtube? I believe it goes through season one. They build a Bugatti like this from scratch. Even made it from magnesium like the original.

    You guys rock. Just watched the Bad Chadillac episode and I found your youtube videos so I subscribed. Hope to see another season. Your cars are the best. Originality is being lost in cars today. I drive a 1965 Chrysler Valiant AP6 it’s over 55 years old and people who say petrol driven cars are bad need to wake up and look at the old cars that are now worth more than new cars and you keep them for life. These plastic heaps made in China are rubbish and I’d never buy one. Give me a classic any day. Keep up the great work. Love from Australia 🇦🇺

    THE JOCHAGATTI PROJECT is what I call this project and man it's really showing it's true colors now the primer is being painted on...not the conventional way I'm used of seeing primer being painted ....panel to panel arms length spraying technique but not the less it's practical for first primer...On a different note is it just me being happy with the results or I see a smiling face from the rear point of view😁😁😁👍👍👍🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

    I've seen a video about this Bugatti, and I wondered about the raised section on the fenders and roof. The Bugatti was made of lightweight magnesium, so, therefore, could not be welded. Beautiful car.

    there is a hinge called a SOSS hinge you might have heard of it they are mostly used in house doors. but they make some heavy duty ones that would work on automobiles and they are hidden hinges when door is closed you cant see them. really think they would be perfect for some of your builds you might look them up and see what you think

    I love them donuts. I got Canadian truvk drivers who bring me them to my job after I load them up. Seen that cup your using for thinner so i had to pause it and say they are the best I ever had. I love the tidbits i think they called. The tinny balls my favorite is the white ones with the filling.

    There is some primer call all you need. Its sprayable filler and primer sealer all in one. Have you ever tried it? Its some really good stuff in my opinion. Have used it on quite a few restoration jobs. I would send you a quart to try if you would, I think you would be really pleased.

    Maybe I'm wrong but there looks to be a shit load of filler dust everywhere.

    • @geofo60
      @geofo60 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My thoughts too & spraying from the top down is blowing all that dust back up over the sides of the car. Plus doors wide open creating draft. Spray booths are designed with negative pressure so when doors are opened it pushes any ingress of foreign matter out of the booth. That gravity feed gun looks like it needs a larger fluid tip & needle with a matching size air cap. Listening to the compressor running constantly isn’t a good sign either & it sounds like there’s quite a lot of air pressure drop through the line before it reaches the gun. In summary, not the best way to go about getting an even coat of primer on the vehicles panels. I served my apprenticeship in the U.K. on R/Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Alvis & Bristols, back in the early 60’s, retired now and watching this is honestly the opposite of the way I was taught. Times have changed I guess !!
