I finished the game on reveangance recently, and oh brother i don't understand how you did it without getting the hidden health upgrades and Infinite wigs. Infinite Wig B was literally the only thing keeping me from dying as i could stay in ripper mode forever and slice enemies before they get the chance to attack me. Also honestly i think phase (fist fight) was probably the hardest for me, as i didn't have a single heal and my reaction is too shit for OD so i had to just run around and jump over him when he tries to grab me, and if he did, then it's death. The final fight for me was hell in the first few attempts but as soon as i managed to get him to 150% HP and got some heals i actually did it first try as when knowing he can't one-shot you anymore gave me some courage. In the end though Armstrong is such a fucking hard boss on revegeance, no matter how weak or shallow his attacks look they will ALWAYS one shot you. Parried too late for a punch? Dead. Was too slow to dodge a grab? Dead. Took too long to get distance from him during his AOE or messed up the timing? Dead. It's extremely frustrating in the 2nd phase as you need to survive for 2 and a half minutes, which will get erased if you get hit once. Definitely one of the hardest bosses i've ever saw in video games. Side note: Reveangance is pretty fun on other bosses tho, if you get Sundowner close to a wall (so he won't be able to jump away after perfect blocking) and counter attack you will one shot him no matter what. And you can also get Sam into his third phase with a single counter attack. Balanced.
I honestly did not know about any hidden health upgrades or anything like that. I though I had the max health. Also I only used chapter select so I only did the bosses so youre probably better at the game than me. Also yes the fist fight part was the hardest for me, but I actually had a lot of fun doing it because the dodging system is like Elden Ring and I love that game.
i also finished revengeance recently and im glad i learned to parry properly exactly during that playthrough. fighting with armstrongs metal gear was pretty easy, the swordfight too. COMPARED TO THE FISTFIGHT. it was such a nuisance, i would murder anyone who invented revengeance armstrong, sometimes when he charges at you it happens INSTANTLY without a red shine, you see it only after he hit you. took me 2 fucking days to get past it. then as i learned most of his movesets, i finished the last fight with like 2 deaths. i forgot to mention i had 1 nanopaste during the fistfight so it was all pretty difficult as well, but im glad you get like 5 nanopastes after armstrong throws the obstacles at you. after that point, i was sure i was gonna win. im still gonna murder whoever had this idea that armstrong can 1 shot you all time.
fighting regular goons without ripper mode is easy even in revengeance however i will not fight Armstrong without wig b because that fc drain during the fight is insane fast whenever he throws the rocks at you
@@smailchali5102 Regular goons are fine (if they don't gang up on you ofc), the hard parts are the fucking gorillas and the guys with hammers, they are the worst. The problem is that the gorillas are so tanky that even ripper mode can't cut through them easily, unless you parry them they are a pain in the ass. Hammer guys are the same, they are extremely tanky and don't get staggered easily even with ripper mode. And pray that THEY won't gang up on you, what will happen is you will get punched as soon as you get up and you will need to make a perfect series of parries, because if you don't, they will do about 30%-40% of your hp every hit. Even having 200% doesn't help much. They are mostly the reason i came to Armstrong without any heals. Oh and of course the cow things too. Maybe they aren't as bad, but if there's two or more of them then you will constantly get punched without a chance to fight back. The most bullshit thing in revengeance is that even the weakest enemy do as much damage as bosses on hard mode.
First time playing I got destroyed by him a couple times but when I beat it and had the murasama I killed him 1 minute into the fight but not on reveangance sam taught me that reveangance difficulty gives u nightmares but armstrong is the strongest boss in the game and i respect him for that
to me im stuck on the final phase but the fist phase took me like 20 minutes, i dont understand how you guys do so much damage i only got to 178 hp on my best attempt
Also suince This game is on PC i bet someone could one day make a mode witha new difficullty (NIGHTAMRE FUEL) it would include this: -all ennemies are UG's -You get one shoted by anything (even a bullet) -All bosses are doubled -Guarding on reduce half the damage you take -Zandatsu dont give back HP -If you die you re do the WHOLE game thx if you read all that
I almost cried when I finally got through his second bladeless phase. Hardest fight of my life. (Two GRADS on revengeance with no sword upgrades and suits standing there menacingly (I somehow have beaten them with 6 nanopastes on Very Hard using only HF blade with Absorption+1 and EnergyUse+1. No damage upgrades or fuel cells+ or life+. They were close to revengeance Armstrong in terms of... _impossibility_.))

The first fight, do as you will. The second fight, just play Road Runner for 2 and a half minutes and avoid him. The third fight, counter and avoid his attacks and chip in as much damage as you can until the QTEs F$%# HIM UP.
When using a controller, sometimes, if it just kinda... decides to, it will show the mouse and keyboard controls. Usually happens if the controller disconnects from the computer, or after playing for a long time without closing it. It's annoying in my opinion.

It's a pain, but after completing it once and closing game during credits making me have to redo it only took me three retries to do. Easy when you know the attacks, pain for the first 50 times whether you know or not

It's a pain, but after completing it once and closing game during credits making me have to redo it only took me three retries to do. Easy when you know the attacks, pain for the first 50 times whether you know or not
