i made a sweater out of 216 granny squares
มุมมอง 8K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
I love making granny squares and I love a good checkerboard pattern, so this sweater is a great combination of both. Figuring everything out as I went was a bit of a struggle, but in the end I was quite happy with the result :) Background music from: creatormix.com
For thin spaghettistraps made from a thin fabric, use a loop turner (the fish hook thingy). For wider straps in studier materials, fold like biasbinding, fold it in half lengthwise, give it a press and edgestitch.
And the horizontal hem of the pants!!! I loved it! It was so clever and stylish!!! I loooooove your makes!
The embroidery is so dreamy I’m so in love with it!!!!!!!
Hello ! Thanks for sharing, which sewing machine are you using ? I'm thinking of getting myself a new one, would you recommend it ? Thanks in advance for you feedback.
I've already made that puff and pencil collared shirt, but seeing your one with the embroidery makes me want to make it all over again! My machine also has some automatic embroidery settings, but I've always been to scared to use it! I'm totally going to give it a go now!!
Another scrap pouch that I LOVE is the rybka pouch 🐟
Wow it’s soo cool, thank you for the idea!! I added it to my list of things i want to make 💙
the blouse is so cool! and the tank top was so pretty too, it really suited you
Such great ideas that I don’t always see other ppl talking about, thanks for sharing, Annalise!
I’m so glad, thank you :)

Thank you so much ❤
❤❤❤
That bag looks amazing! I love it
Thank you!!
great clothes 😍
So creative. Love each piece, especially the striped outfit.
Thank you!! :)
I have a tip - there is a large fold out cardboard board with measurements on it at the Spotlight or Lincraft store that I put on my regular table to put my fabric on to place patterns and fabric on. It's awesome and you would love it in your space. hope you check it out. I've also been using my serger as a seam stitcher and overlocked edging. I sew along the seam line and the overlocker cuts off the excess and does that overlocked edge. Please try it. this is how the serger is meant to be used so that sewing is faster for the sewist. :-) there is an amazing tool called a loop turner. it's exactly used for this. If you go to spotlight and ask, they will tell you. It is also online.
Clever makes!
❤️❤️❤️

You are so talented and clever! I received some great inspirational ideas to try. I absolutely love the comment you made “ I’m so grateful for my past self”!
Thank you so so much :)
You made beautiful pieces
Thank you so much :)
You saw an amazing summer wardrobe! I am a beginner sewer and what I love the most it's how it is always possible to find a solution, nothing is going wasted. Loved your genuine storytelling of the whole process 😊
Thank you so so much!!!
Nice job on everything!! They look very beautiful!!!❤❤❤
Thank you!!!
Why do you sew with the machine so far away. You are leaning forward. May develop back problems.
I started doing that because I had a really small desk for a long time and I needed some space on the desk to work on (like pinning and measuring etc), so I placed the sewing machine further away. I guess it has become a habit.
Bravo! Everything is perfect for you!
Thank you! :)
I love ALL of your garments but I have to say the Blouse, and top and pants are stunning...I think so anyway.. Just found your channel so I'm looking forward to seeing more of you. 🙂
Thank you so much!!! ❤
beautiful makes!
Hello. This is the first time the algorithm has thrown you my way. I really liked your video, and your clothes are very cute.
Hey!! Thank you so much!
I’m amazed at how many times you started over without feeling beat about it! When did you learn to knit? You seem so expert to me (I don’t knit but want to learn!). The vest looks so gorgeous! Also I’m a fellow European leaving in Tassie 😊
Thank you so much!!! I think I learned to knit when I was about 12 years old or so, but I didn't do it super regularly back then, maybe one or two simpler projects per year at first. And now I picked it up again a few years ago and I cannot stop haha. I definitely recommend learning, it is amazing to make your own clothes, but know that you may become addicted hahah. But it's a good addiction :) I miss Tassie so much, I completely fell in love with the island!! Such a great place to live :)
@@annaliserey It’s on my list! I sew a lot so I can totally relate on how amazing it is to create your own clothes 🥰 And yes, I feel very lucky to live where I live! I can’t wait to see what you make next x
Hi, the clothes you made are lovely, your very clever, job well done.😊
Thank you ❤
Hi Annalise, I watched a couple of your videos and I enjoy your overall presentation. You are relaxed, pleasant to listen to and I am impressed by how effortlessly you alter your design and sewing as you go along with your project. I am looking forward to viewing many more sewing projects from you. Congatulations on your journey! I am curious weather design and making clothes is a hobby or are you involved in it as a vocation.
Hello! Thank you so so much for the lovely comment, it made my day!!! I studied fashion design in uni, and have sewn, crocheted and knitted quite a lot, but at the same time I still have a lot to learn as well. I haven't necessarily done it as a job, but I've rather worked on my own projects, some bigger, some smaller :)
lovely make, thanks foe the inspo to craft :)
Thank you 🥰
Hi where do I get the pattern for the white blouse you made with lantern sleeves? Its so cute I need to make one for myself!!
ahh never mind its from puff and pencil thank you anyway
It all came out so well! I need to make some summer clothes soon, it’s waaaay too hot for what I already own😝😝

Thank you!!! 🥰
I sew straps closed on one side and use the dull end of a crochet hook to push the open end through!
love the bag!!
Thank you!!!
Wow girl!
What a beautiful bag! I’m going to make one for my daughter. Thanks ❤️
Thank you so much, I hope she loves it!!! ♥
LOVE each of your creations!
Thank you so much ♥
I use 3 main tools for turning straps and ties. Mostly i use a ‘loop turner’. They’ve been around since grandma’s time and reasonably foolproof. My other go-to is a ‘Fabric Tube Turner’. I only discovered those a few years ago, they’re easy to use. For bigger ties i use my trusty safety pin. (That one is a sentimental favourite because it was the only nappy pin i have left from when my kids were babies, showing my age there!). That embroidery looks fabulous on that blouse! The ruffles would have been nice as well, but it’s lovely as it is.
Thank you so much for the tips! I will try to find the tools next time I'm going to the craft/fabric store! Having things that have sentimental value, but are useful at the same time is so amazing. Some crochet hooks that I use often are my mom's and she used them when she was young and I love it :)
