I wish I had all these videos when I did my Basic Science a couple of years ago. You are the best lecturer ever. Your videos are amazing. Please keep making more videos for step 1. Turn all high yield points from First Aid book into videos with ways/tricks to remember as you have done in all your videos. I prefer your videos over First Aid book or other videos. Thank you so much.
"Depolarizing Succs and ND curium" curium also sounds like "cure" so the mnemonic helps me remember that there is a cure (antidote) for the ND agents that can be used at any point
BRO! I'm in M1 in Poland. I've been listening to your stuff just for over a year just for fun. But our Prof, who is brilliant can't teach this well. I am happy to say that I've finally been able use you IN med school. Thanks for all that you do. :)
alternative way to remember the non-depolarizing agents... -curium reminds me of marie curie, who is famous for her discoveries related to radioactive agents. When I think of radioactivity, I also think of their radioactive decay. So, the -curium drugs immediately start to decay the activity of the neuron like in the photo-model of what he showed.
Your videos are great. But holy shit, TH-cam. Why am I seeing 4 ads on a 13 minute video? They're getting to the point where I'm going to be spending more time watching ads than the actual video.
...HAVING DONE THAT, CAN U PLZ MAKE SOME VIDZ FOR THE CRAZY STATS... HECK EVEN THE COHORT N CASE CONTROL VIDEO WAS SOOO GOOD...MADE ME WANT TO START STUDYING AT IT AGAIN....
Great work and amazing video as always dirty . But : shouldn’t the blue and yellow stars be only drawn on the Postsynaptic side ? During the video they’re shown bound to presynaptic receptors first which I think doesn’t occur and they(the drugs) have no significant effects on the presynaptic side . Lmk if I’m mistaken. Thank you
Hello there , wondering if you guys do private tutoring .? My step 1 is in a few months and I really need to get over this hump.. please let me know Art

*-curium and -curonium
The nondepolarizing NMJ blockers are atracurium, mivacurium, pancuronium, vecuronium, rocuronium and tubocurarine.

So basically, Atracurium is a Skeletal muscle relaxant? And , botulism can also be caused by expired canned foods correct?
