I just got my Samsung smart tv last night and was shocked when there were no ports for my DVD player. I guess the makers live in a different reality - yes consumers still use DVDs and I even have old home movies on VHS. I’m so disappointed over this. I guess I need to figure out what converters to get and have even more wires back there

I haveca Samsung smart tv thatvI want to connect a dvd player to with HDMI. The tv only has 2 HDMI ports already used for the cable box and sound system. Can I just use a two-pronged HDMI splitter, plugnot into the tv HDMI 2 port, and connectvthe sound bar to one side of the split and the dvd player to the other?
