I've got a 93 F150 XLT with the 5.0L V8, it was my grandfather's truck until he passed, only has about 58,000 on it. He was a mechanic so he kept it in great shape too.
My grandpa passed away from Alzheimer's in 2018 he owned a 1996 ford f150 4x4 5.0L ext cab short bed with chrome accents and the chrome brush guard and fog lights he bought it pre owned in 1998 and has had it since i was little it has 136,000 on it i am the proud owner now and even though she has a fuel issue i hope to have it back on the road soon!
I own a 1994 Ford F150 XLT with a 351w which is the 5.8L EFI, its been a project cause the motor has been locked up, me and my father have been takin it apart and im trying to get an engine hoist so i can get an easier view of the crank and cam shaft when i drop the oil pan.
That 5.0 did sound good coming through that upgraded dual exhaust... But if you ever started my diesel and revved my cold motor like that I would grab you by the collar and snatch you out onto the pavement!
I own a 1985 F-150 with a 4.9L inline 6 and manual overdrive transmission. Manual door locks and windows. I swear it is the most basic truck and I love it.
@saabkyle04 Just wanted to let you know that, in my opinion, your style, choice in cars to tour, recording techniques, etc. are all perfect. The only way we could get more detailed tours is to actually do it in person, so thanks for all you do.
My step dad has the 1994 Ford F-150 XL with the 300 straight six with a 5 speed transmission and it runs like a champ. Got to love those straight sixes.
9th gen fords just have something timeless about them. A utilitarian simplicity about them. Enduring and comfortable. There will never be trucks like these ever again. Iv got a beat up 92 F150. I'm trying to find a 7.3 crew cab before July. It proving to be difficult
This gen, with the bench and although this doesn't have it the washable rubber flooring, was made for when people who needed trucks drove trucks. This one is dolled up but I still love this generation.
Now this is a REAL truck. I wish they still made purpose-built, no-frills, all metal trucks like this today. Both the interior and exterior of this truck are among my favorite ever made for any automobile.
"Ya im always Strokin' never Cummin' " I just bought a 2003 F-250 7.3L and im loving it my friend got a 96' and he loves his too. Im curently 17 and work for the family business as a parts runner and a Diesel Tech.
The first car I ever bought was the Ford F-150 xlt with the 7.3. I bought i5 when I was 19 (Still got my licence at 16 just drove an old toyita to and from school) It's still running . Absolutely love my truck. Couldn't have bought anything better.
Yes it did, the Eddie Bauer/Lariat gold trim and the new taillights and grille changed it up, plus they changed up the wheels and made them look a lot better.
my stepdad use to have a 93 f350 ps dually i loved the exhaust note. we called it the smoker cause of the amount of exhaust clag it made at start up i miss it to this day :( :)
My dad drove my brother and I around in this truck a lot, same exact paint too. Live in Washington State. But it didn't have that weird trim or bed cover so it looked more straight cut and nice in my opinion, like a razor. Had the dark colored sun visor above the drivers window and a dark deflector on the front too. I miss it a lot and how it looked, I'd kill to have the same one myself.
You are right, I believe International's sub-brand was actually called Navistar. They built a good PowerStroke, that's for sure. It was sad to hear that they were gonna stop making them...
I Got a 94 5.0 Xlt Black with red trim 60k miles i love this truck it’s simply classic and amazing id love to have had one in 95 in highschool this thing is 100% a chick magnet
This is gonna sound weird, but I'm glad you didn't put "the best diesel ever" And instead put the best diesel ford made. You didn't try to make other people mad.
I've always been a fan of 90s Ford trucks, nice conservative styling. My dad had a 94 Explorer xlt tho it fell apart after about 120k miles, not surprising. However the full-size trucks ford made then are definitely built to last, love the video Kyle!
I really like that bodystyle and it looks great on Eddie Bauer trim. I remember I saw some of those in with regular cab with a 5spd manual, not that popular combination considering that was the upscale trim level but at the same time added more excitement due to its rarity
my 93 f150 5 speed is red and black two tone. I can hold the pedal to the floor and let it bounce off the rev limiter and it sounds f-ing awesome with no cat and custom exhaust! I cant kill it the motor! 170000 miles. it has been awesome since day one. but I no longer drive because the rear leaf springs are cracked on the passenger side. and the trany is howling. i've done lots of over loaded hauling with it. lots! I am leaning towards rebuilding it. rather than buying a new one. frame off resto! with a big block 460 4speed IDK love to see old like new ford f150s thanks! mine ran a 17 flat at the strip. then I added a lock right locker and it was crazy awesome putting some power down. but that only lasted about 3000 mile before the locker blew up. back to open dif. : ( thanks again!
Estallion Corona hey how can I protect my diesel like yours where is extreme cold weather even the diesel gas station gets gel need to clean filter and clean everything

Passed away :-(
@@TheOfficalJordanMcGoldrick you could be Dodge material
5.0 was around since 1990 so technically the modern 5.0 isn’t new. They just brought it back like the old days but better actually.
I just got my first car today! 1992 f-150 xlt brown and white. it's a great truck
+Kyle Noonan Make a video of it!
Kyle Mikels
Does it make that buzzing noise when you turn the key?
That sounds awesome!! Post a video!!
3:19 That Powerful 7.3 shook the damn camera mount just to start up! Built Ford tough
Not really a big fan of Fords, but I will admit, that is one sharp looking truck for it's age
agreed
MAGNUM05 Heeeeey
MAGNUM05 you should be
Love the older trucks like these. Seems like they'll last forever.
Jdm262
Meanwhile with an 05 freestar that already has plenty of rust
Back in those days, vehicles were built to last. Nowadays, practically everything is made of plastic and that doesn’t last
They may not be the prettiest of all trucks but they run forever
@@kingjlinza well atleast plastic doesn't rust

That 5.0 v8 has some incredible torque and power, loved how it rocked when Kyle revved it
It does not have the same level of low end torque that the 4.9L has but I like that if you get on it the 5.0L is FAST and powerful.
Esa Ford fifty four fifty
God I miss this generation of ford trucks
Up uqTrikster1of4huuuuu
Trikster1of4 me too I love the 94-96 F150s
Me too. Best looking trucks ever
Anne Francis I love the bull nose fords
@@ramonpcastro5892 xyifufgiugugugugj
I have grown to appreciate and love the early Ford trucks especially with the two-tone colors.
Back when truck using Bus Engine
Ford - Navistar International
Dodge Ram - Cummins
Hummer H1 and GM - Detroit Diesel V8
That 5.0 did sound good coming through that upgraded dual exhaust...
But if you ever started my diesel and revved my cold motor like that I would grab you by the collar and snatch you out onto the pavement!
lol
Early 90's Ford 7.3 is my dream. This one is perfect. Manual, the wheels, stock exhaust!!!
my grandpa had a 93 f150 and it was a manual trans. manual windows and manual door locks. very classic if u ask me
Joker my dad owned one like the one from your grandpa but my dad's f-150 was 1997
I own a 1985 F-150 with a 4.9L inline 6 and manual overdrive transmission. Manual door locks and windows. I swear it is the most basic truck and I love it.
Love it when u do comparison videos, it makes it a lot more interesting
1992 f-150 custom owner here. This generation was badass. Had power steering problems but a true work truck, especially with the stick.
That green is such a nice color
and lets be honest, even with that no frills intention, this is still a goddamn pretty truck. couldnt agree more man.
I love these cars, they're so beautiful and engines sounds very nice!
@saabkyle04 Just wanted to let you know that, in my opinion, your style, choice in cars to tour, recording techniques, etc. are all perfect. The only way we could get more detailed tours is to actually do it in person, so thanks for all you do.
Love tis one too i had a new 95 150 4.9 6 cylender hard on gas but never broke
The gasoline engine sounds so nice, when revved. Great vidoe saabkyle, love the diesel and petrol comparision. Nice trucks
My step dad has the 1994 Ford F-150 XL with the 300 straight six with a 5 speed transmission and it runs like a champ. Got to love those straight sixes.
My day had this truck for almost 10 years. It was such a great truck, they don't build them like they used to. I wish we still had it.
Windsor 302 and Powerstroke 7.3...my 2 absolute favorite V8 engines.
9th gen fords just have something timeless about them. A utilitarian simplicity about them. Enduring and comfortable. There will never be trucks like these ever again. Iv got a beat up 92 F150. I'm trying to find a 7.3 crew cab before July. It proving to be difficult
Lovin' the older F-series videos!
Those trucks are so well-built the cab appeared in 1980 till 1996
This gen, with the bench and although this doesn't have it the washable rubber flooring, was made for when people who needed trucks drove trucks. This one is dolled up but I still love this generation.
i remeber those days when i was 10 like 5 years ago when my dad had a 92 and 94 f150 i miss them
I like these trucks more! Amazing job bro.
Thanks for doing the engine bay start up camera angle!!! Its the best
This is the only generation of a Ford truck I would buy. Such a sharp looking truck
What about the 7th gen. I think it looks a bit tougher.
Now this is a REAL truck. I wish they still made purpose-built, no-frills, all metal trucks like this today. Both the interior and exterior of this truck are among my favorite ever made for any automobile.
i want either one of these trucks! Preferably the 7.3 IDI though since its so bad ass and the manual transmission
"Ya im always Strokin' never Cummin' " I just bought a 2003 F-250 7.3L and im loving it my friend got a 96' and he loves his too. Im curently 17 and work for the family business as a parts runner and a Diesel Tech.
Beautiful truck, my dad's '96 has never given us trouble
these things run forever i see so many of them. 4 guys i work with have the same generation truck. they're badass
These f150s and silverados from the mid 90s are by far some of the greatest trucks ever made. They both look great in 2 tone.
I like this generation of F-series at most. Thanks for the video.
The first car I ever bought was the Ford F-150 xlt with the 7.3. I bought i5 when I was 19 (Still got my licence at 16 just drove an old toyita to and from school) It's still running . Absolutely love my truck. Couldn't have bought anything better.
This is my favorite generation of the F150! And what a nice example of one too!
After '99, the F-150 just started gettin' ugly.
Until 2003 look sporty again
97-99 was ugly and then they came out with the Lariat/Eddie Bauer and the SuperCrew version around 2001 which made them look good again.
MichaelTJD60 It did not look any different!
Yes it did, the Eddie Bauer/Lariat gold trim and the new taillights and grille changed it up, plus they changed up the wheels and made them look a lot better.
That Gaming Site TH-cam Channel
I kinda hated the 09 design. The 250/350 design from 08 was much better
man you always find these old cars in such good shapes.
Even though I like all the pickup trucks that are out there a lot, the Fords have always been my favorite. I’m the kind of guy that likes everything.
2:34 Listen to that truck growl
Great video!! I have the f150 with the 302, and she's about to hit 200k! Yet that motor is still very strong and reliable!
"Straight, simple, clean and straightforward, just as an american truck should be." - words of wisdom. great clip!
Awesome video Kyle. Both trucks look and sound great!
one of the best sounding 5.0´s i´ve ever heard.
BUILT FORD TOUGH
I love these comparison videos thumbs up if you think kyle should do more just like this
I have that same Calypso Green/Oxford White color scheme on my 1994. I'm definitely getting the same exact colors when I restore it.
Master pieces. Greatness
My friend's dad has a mint condition '94 Bronco in that same exact color scheme, but it has the 351. Very nice car, I love the color.
