Thank you, this is so helpful! I’ve been dancing for many years-I’m an old lady now- but I haven’t choreographed since I was in college. And was never taught guidelines like you’re giving here. I’ve remembered a choreographic dream from long ago, a pas de deluxe for two women. The music is soulful, with a tenor saxophone weaving around a very basic, simple melody. This music has been haunting me. I want to finish making this dance before I die. Now you;ve shown me how to get inside the music. What a beautiful process this is! 💖

The room reading is so helpful! Lately I've been trying to come up with a choreo for my favourite song using your tips and floor tricks and honestly the room reading is really helping. Thank you. Also I never realised I knew your channel because I was scrolling through your vids and saw the how to split vid I watched years ago and just realised it was you.
Omg thank you thank you thank you!! I may be 3 years late but I have seen this video when I was younger and couldn't really dance! I have dance classes at my school now and since it's the end of the final semester, my dance teacher is giving my class a major grade on choreographing a dance! I haven't had much experience with lyrical, hiphop, or jazz (which all 3 dance elements will be in my dance project) and lyrical is a big part of the dance! So thank you!!! This helps so much!!!!!

That has litterally been the most helpful video about choreographing I´ve seen so far. I have been struggling with finishing the choreography I´m working on and especially the lyrical and the room reading have helped me a lot and I could fill some gaps in my choreography just during the video.
This helped me so much, me and my best friend love lyrical and do it to express are feeling but we really struggle with choreography x

I just want to say that I am so happy I found this. I have been dancing for 2 years and started in my first GCSE year (I dove to deep XD) and I had never taken a dance class in my life so choreography was totally new to me. You have really saved me with my final dance piece and I will definitely recommend your channel to my friends in younger years. Keep working hard xx
