Good afternoon friend. I enjoyed seeing your tutorial on the body lift. in 2008 I did a body lift on my vitara in portugal and there was none of those kits. I cut the screws and drilled the inside of the jeep and put 100mm spacers. on the bumpers I raised the brackets up to make it better and welded. next week I'll do it with screws from this type of kit but also with 100mm spacers and I'll apply a 50mm hi lift kit on the suspension because I'm going to mount 32" tires on 16" rims

Good deal, thinking about using a pair of hockey pucks at each body mount point? With the exception of the special stud spacers along the side bolts, I see no downside.

How we’re all the fuel lines, brake lines and fuel filler neck after the lift? How high was the body lift, 2 inches? Looking to do one on my 4 door

If you don't know where the hood latch is you probably shouldn't be doing a lift yourself :-P

Hey love the work. I have a vitara too , do you still have the stock engine on it 1.6 ?
I’m asking because I’m thinking of changing tier size just not sure if I will lose power?

You will loose some due to the weight of the rotational mass difference

so unprofessional! you should torque it, but that's ok, just dont go "heman", just use blue loctite... oh well we used red...
oh, we have two body mounts left... we didnt feel to use and you would have to buy hardware... you should extend the shifter, oh well, screw it, he's going to live with it

Lol we extended it our own way. We also have 3 body mounts and retapped the fourth later ;) most shops don't use torque specks either unless it's a race your pay 150-250$ a hour they will take the time and dial in the torque specs I'm not saying it's wrong to look up torque specs but I have done allot of builds with out the torque specs and been fine. That being said drive train and engine internals are always to torque spec
