Such a great perspective. I feel like I got to learn more about Alisha which I definetly did. I did not know her cultural background and I remeber watching her on 13RW. It was so sad to hear how she felt about herself while she was filming 13W and I'm glad she found her self-confidence and stopped listneing to the people online. She gave great insight into playing someone who was sexually assulted while also having her own issues which I didn't think about. Great episode.😀

As a Norwegian I can tell she is Norwegian by her last name in English it’s written as Boe because the last name doesn’t exist in English. In Norwegian it’s written as Bø

Well then you should also know that English is a Western Germanic language related to Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese and that they used to have the same sounds as we do in Norwegian until they changed it. Old Norse was closely related to Old English.

As a mixed race person I understand Alisha's struggles on a deep spiritual level.

You’re not mixed race. This theory has been debunked and is rooted in racist ideology. No such thing as different human races due to physical differences in appearance like skin color, eye and nose shape etc. Only one race, the human race🙄

I have to say that this has become one of my favorite podcast, it’s so nice to relate to something that see all sides of me as a human being whether that’s politics or being a woman of color or random things in the news I love it. The topics can be heavy or light and y’all transition so well between them. I also really love to see the friendship between yall makes me miss my friends. Also this is a first for me writing such a long ass comment, Love y’all and can’t wait to see how y’all grow

Alisha should learn more about her Somali roots. Learn the language, religion, culture, cuisine, and heritage. We are a proud, brave, poetic and a bit arrogant/high self-esteem people.

It’s interesting that she has such a Somali face. Probably walking around with the face of a Somali ancestor she’ll never know 🥲
