Think you speak for all of us Mr Zombie! 🔥💀🤘 Also can we appreciate actually being able to hear all the keg hits! Show recordings now days even professional ones dont ever make them loud enough in the mix!
Joey wasn't just an incredibly talented musician, but a human being with an enormous heart. This gig, is testament to that. What he did, is what I will always remember him as. Not just a talent, but a kind, kind man...
He hit me with a drumstick after mayhem headline in VA Beach and either clown or he or Chris hit me with a can of coors light as i was exiting pit area after their show was over (which is why they were throwing shit to the crowd) 2008?09? I didn't try to catch either of them, dead drunk, they hit me in head and back/shoulder hahahaha LMAO booze and outdoor metal fests before the high pixel camera was public!!!!

my first concert was mancows Lazer Lua Ankeny Air Field Ankeny IA . The only time other that ozfest I saw them as not headliners. it when they filmed the wait and bleed video. clown came down stage and gave me a big sweaty man hug and sealed my lifelong fandom. iam 42 and this has been. my nostalgic Slipknot moment
Note the time period and look closely at the crowd shots... Lots of bleach blonde Eminem look alikes. Lots of crossover audience for sure. I was one of em.
I was at this show.... I believe it was Mudvayne and Hatebreed that opened the show. The EXPO Center became an absolute blast furnace with so many crazy mofos in there!
I graduated high school in 2000 and blew off my graduation ceremony with 6 of my closest friends to go see Slipknot on this tour! STILL a huge fan 23 years later! 🤘😝🤘
You know…these live videos surfacing everywhere have officially now made me a fan. I’d never really listened to them before but this shit is fantastic.
I watched the one of July 1st 1999 ozzfest maybe there first or second show on that tour and then you come here a year later and the progress is absolutely incredible to see. You can see why they are still around today, there hasn’t been another band out there since to really get you sucked in and won’t let go. Maggot for life. Even back in 2000 they believed in we are not your kind.
It's weird re-watching videos I originally saw nearly 20 years ago. Trying to remember the websites these used to come out on but it always had the new metal videos of the time. I was also there.for this intro in 2000 at reading festival. During these times they weren't a band, they were almost an irrefutable force, like gravity.
I was super blessed to see them on this tour string of dates with them wearing the white jumpsuits ! Seen them at the House of blues in las vegas and it was the first time i literally thought i was going to die at the bottom of the mosh pit all twisted up. Went to the side isle to catch my breath and someone shoved me all rude like ,so i punched him and i got kicked out after just the second song ... was super pissed !! so we drove the next day to see them play at the palladium in los angeles and had a damn blast, such good times. This is the slipknot I remember ! Thanks for the upload !

I like how in the earlier concerts, Mick's guitar in the mix was at a greater volume. I don't know when it started but now Jim's guitar shadows Mick's.
Wonder why Sid's DJ rig was set up way to the side pointing at the side of the stage? Never seen it set up like that before and it looks like there was plenty of space for him to be set up like Craig was.
sensei shawn crahan is really smart, he founded the band, he made the percussion, he made the masks, he made the songs then he can imitate Chris's style
Nobody was touching these mofos in terms of stage performances back then. The Knot were just that damn determined to earn their keep and they don’t have to do anything else really. They earned their respect and can quietly retire on if they wished.

As if there was some kind of beat musicians can orientate themselves at. Of course thats rubbish, it's all magic
I shook Clown's hand after he dove off the stage
Just imagine touring and doing what they do night after night. Exhausting.
That’s why unfortunately over time, especially cuz of the accidents that happen too on stage they’re not able to go as crazy
