Welcome to the top 10 worst elevators of 2021!
The video clips in this compilation are some of the worst elevators i have ridden this year. these clips aren’t in any specific order, just only the last 2 are probably some of the worst i’ve seen.
There is also a top 10 best elevators of 2021 that can also be found on my channel.
Thanks for watching and i hope you enjoyed, because i certainly did not enjoy ridding a lot of these elevators lmao.

3:40 I’ve seen a Otis do this! 5:05 the vibration is due to the lack of a hydraulic noise suppressor. Definitely the building being cheap af! And yes the breaks are likely due to that as the vibration destroys seals and the piping. 19:52 oh my god! That has the drop key and motor room key and fire service key they NEED to shut that that is a horrible thing to leave it open! 22:42 I’m surprised that the power unit hasn’t died from being low on oil so often! This needs a slap on and some new seals asap!

As I revisit this video. I’ve come to learn that some of the older Schindlers (RT & MT) I’ve been on here in Illinois are well maintained compared to others in the US
I've ridden on Chicago's worst elevator and THEY NEED TO MODERNIZE THE FREAKING SCHINDLERHAUGHTON ELEVATOR
Submersible power units are awful! Fire hazard if motor overheats or shorts and it’s hard to work on with it being a oily mess! I wish there was more dry units
I love how it still says "MGM Lion Entry #1" 🤣🤣 the Lion exhibit hasn't existed for almost 10 years now 🤣
Hence why it’s crap 💩
Oh, and the Elevator at Prairie Moon, the make is called Lakeland Larson, and its one of the Local Elevator Brands of Illinois

That Millenium Station elevator I rode on too. Damn, it didn’t ride quite as bad as that though and I have no hope for that getting fixed/modded. I gotta go back and check on it.

Elevator door issue got "a Little worst" bruh THE WHOLE DOOR IS OFF THE ELEVATOR LITTLE WORST IS MORE LIKE INCREDIBLY WORST, they really need to fix that alright I can tell you that!

@@2035jim how can people have a dumb fear like spiders. Whenever I tell anyone my fear they just tell me “that’s dumb” or “why” and laugh. Meanwhile people have normalized a fear of nothing but mostly a harmless creature that is very helpful to earth and kills many mosquitos that might be deadly. I have a fear of elevators because I’m scared of getting stuck in it and be forgotten. When I was younger I (by mistake) locked myself in my dads trunk and took awhile for him to find me and since then I have been somewhat scared of small spaces I can’t get out of (cardboard boxes don’t effect me)

@@elevating_western_washington You should have some respect at your age, first of all... oh man, secondly, if you notice something wrong with the elevator beforehand, you tell the person in the building who is responsible and don't wait for the elevator to break down completely ..hope you were that smart if you didn't put 6 and be very ashamed....or find another hobby it would be better for the elevators...there are people who need the elevators because they might be in a wheelchair so think about it a bit please
